About this cabin rental
This charming log home features warm heart pine floors that greet you as you walk through the front door. The majestic floors continue throughout the main level, and the living room is centered on a massive stone wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your next family gathering. In the kitchen you will find; pots and pans, as well as dinnerware, flatware and servewear (service for 12). The kitchen appliances include a microwave, full-size fridge with water dispenser and ice maker, gas oven with 5 burner cook top, dishwasher, toaster, air fryer, blender, crock pot and coffee maker. Being a large family ourselves our hope was to make this home as accommodating for you and your family as possible, we understand and appreciate the importance of family time. There is also a piano and game room located just between the kitchen and living spaces. You can cookout on the rear deck’s propane Weber grill. There is also (2) all weather dining tables and (4) all weather rocking chairs, to sit and enjoy the sound of birds chirping and a view of the lake. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including the primary bed and bath. All of the bedrooms have a view of the lake through the windows. In the basement you will find a large rec room with sectional sofa and large 75" TV as well as custom built-ins which play host to a cozy pocket office for those needing to be productive while on still on vacation. The rear of the home is its reason for being. You have a covered patio area with a full-size ping pong table and porch swing. Enjoy a delicious s’more at the natural firepit just off the rear. The organic walkway leads you down to the most beautiful cove on Lake Norman. The cove is deep yet cozy, and there is plenty of room to tie off to the multi-tier dock. The kids are sure to love the diving board for hours of lake fun and creating memories! You will feel like you are worlds away from it all, but it actuality you are just 3 miles to I-77 and within a couple miles of over a dozen delivery restaurants and grocery options. This truly is a gem nestled among the best of both worlds.
