Thin Walls
We received a complaint from our neighbor that we were too loud at 9:30pm. We were quietly watching a movie at this time, which was at sound level 24 on the television set. I'm assuming the walls are paper thin and the complaint justification was that they were getting up to arrive at Yosemite before 6am, which was funny because we were too. Really frustrating.
Also, the checkout is 10am sharp. There is no option for late check out and we were billed $38 for needing an additional 30 minutes.

Great place to relax
Place was exactly how it was described including the pictures. Spacious, clean with a lot of nice amenities including an oversized bath tub. We loved the outdoor hot tub and the property is set back from the road and secluded. We'll definitely return when we're in the area.

4th of July Family Vacation to Yosemite
The property was great, with one suggested comment/improvement.... The bathroom shower is a converted bathtub that is hard to get into and out of, especially for someone with a leg injury or disability. We would suggest remodeling the tub into a walk-in shower. Other than that minor inconvenience, the property was great.

Gorgeous place with gorgeous views!
I absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back. When we drove up there were about two dozen deer just grazing on the property, it was picturesque. The view from the balcony was unreal and we woke up to snow one morning. Previous review I read mentions something wrong with the oven but we used it just fine. The hot tub was working beautifully the first night, but seemed to decrease in temperature slightly the following nights no matter what we did. A minor complaint, as it was still warm and we used it every night. The place was immaculate and I had no problems checking in or out.

Oven is super old. does not cook properly so pretty much useless. Cooktop works fine. We tried baking cookies and cinnamon rolls both came out burnt on the outside raw in the center. Need to know this if you plan on baking anything.
We bought steaks to grill but it’s a charcoal grill & charcoal is not provided.
Patio jacuzzi not hot the first night. She Said it was as due to having to replace some of the water between guest due to covid. It’s a small two person jacuzzi so I had assumed all the water would be replaced between guest. She said its a 110 outlet so it takes a long time to heat up. And wont heat and run the jacuzzi jets at the same time. sent someone out the next day to service it. Tried again and it was hot but smelled so heavily of chlorine that couldn’t even stay in it long. my skin had a severe reaction to it. got little itchy blisters all over my back and butt and the back of my legs. Everywhere that was touching the jacuzzi. assuming they just threw a bunch chlorine granules in the bottom of it and when we got in it wasn’t dissolved and got on my skin.
House Thermostat is locked at 73 degrees. lowest it will go. fine for daytime but like to sleep with it cooler At 71 so we were warm at night while sleeping which wasn’t pleasant.
They charge An excessive cleaning fee. double what most people charge. Yet they require you empty all the trash cans and take all out to dumpster. Also remove all bed sheets. And wash all dishes. I would probably have done some of that anyway but they require it or they will charge extra cleaning fees.
Communication with Jennifer/owner was not pleasant. We booked it 4 days before the creek fire started. Creek fire was Worst fire in California history. This home only blocks from pre evacuation areas. We were very concerned about our safety due to the fires. She completely disregarded our concern repeatedly stating “it would be fine for our stay” They closed the entire Yosemite park. Our trip was planned for my husband to hike half dome. She wouldn’t give us any other options other than she would let us know 2 days before our stay if she would give us a refund. We didn’t get on our flight as Yosemite was still closed. Yosemite reopened Friday and she let us know that she would not refund. We left Texas Saturday drove 24 hrs straight to get there by Sunday as she would not refund or reschedule even after getting VRBO involved. She refused any resolutions even after they requested her to.

Great for a short getaway
Had a great weekend retreat here! Note that it is directly attached to 2 other rentals on the same property, which wasn't clear from the pictures initially. We couldn't hear our vacation neighbors when inside relaxing, so it ended up fine. However, if there is a large group renting out the 2 places next door it can get pretty rowdy at night. Place was very clean and we enjoyed the private hot tub very much!
