About this house rental
Beautiful newly built house, with spacious floor plan. Property is within walking distance to downtown White Salmon. It is a short drive to Hood River. House is located in private residential neighborhood. It is very safe and quiet, with occasional deer sightings. Beautiful territorial views to the East, with beautiful moon rises. The property is close to Columbia and White Salmon Rivers, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Adams. Plenty of biking, hiking, kayaking and trails to explore. There are numerous wineries close by. Also free Netflix and Amazon Prime on Smart TV. Free basic breakfast supplies.

The house is in a nice residential location and has a great view of the surrounding areas and hills.
Inside it's in perfect conditions with a full kitchen (**), washer / dryer, we bedrooms, TV, AC, fans in each room, easy parking.
The ** was the really nice part. At other properties we've stayed at, there was usually a hodge podge of silverware, dishware, pots and pans, etc. This kitchen was first class with nice quality silverware, cookware, bowls, and a large supply of cooking implements. The first night we cooked in the kitchen, we made mashed potatoes. Hand mashed the potatoes with a fork. Silly us, there was a potato masher right next to the stove (did I mention we probably need to get our eyes checked?). There was a large selection of spices, cooking oil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, etc. etc. etc.
There were zip locks, Tupperware for left overs, coffee, coffee filters, tea, hot chocolate, Pancake mix, several containers of breakfast cereal, etc.
Under the sink were extra garbage bags, cleaning supplies, pods for the dishwasher, scrub brushes, etc.
Inside the fridge we found milk, butter, eggs, coffee cream and many bottles of water.
The bathroom was equally well equipped with hand soap, soft soap, shampoo, conditioner, Q-tips, and probably a dozen more that I've forgotten.
There was a personal note welcoming us, notes telling us how to use the TV, AC, WiFi, heaters, etc.
The owners were very prompt answering questions.

Such a beautiful property! The cozy, quiet & very comfortable home is fully stocked with amenities and spotlessly clean! Views are simply amazing. Hosts are always there if needed. Location is excellent to explore the area. Town of White Salmon is charming as is Hood River. We will be return guests!

This is very possibly the best rental we have ever stayed at. The location is beautiful, the view stunning, and Tony puts so much thought into the place that we immediately felt at home. Tony goes above and beyond the normal vrbo amenities. Not only is the kitchen well-stocked, Tony leaves breakfast items for guests as well! We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely rental in a sweet part of Washington. We hoped we were not going to miss out of staying in Hood River but White Salmon was a fine substitute-this rental is close to its quieter but still very inviting downtown.
After long days of hiking, this was a great place to come home to. Everything was comfortable, including the beds. Anything we could think of needing was found. All the appliances were new. This is the cleanest rental ever stayed in. Tony was a great host and had helpful information on the area. I hope to be able to come back here someday.

We had such a lovely stay. It was absolutely spotless, so cozy, and had all the special touches. Tony and Ana have thought of everything you may need. It was the perfect base camp to visit Hood River tucked away and private but still close enough to be either a long walk or short drive away from great restaurants and cute shops in downtown White Salmon — which is eclectic and charming. I would go back in a heartbeat! We loved our visit.

The property itself is lovely and spacious for two people. Tony is very responsive. You can tell the owners pay attention to detail and work hard to make guests feel welcome. We felt fortunate to find this place and would have no hesitation returning the next time we are in White Salmon.

At first we were disappointed to arrive in Hood River only to find the bridge was out for a few days. We had planned to visit back and forth from White Salmon. Using the bridge in The Dalles, we arrived at our guest house and never had any regrets! The house had lovely view, and walk a block up the road and have a view of the Gorge artists would die for! The home was plush, spotless, extremely well equipped and furnished in a modern style. Beds were excellent. Hosts were warm and happy to give local information. Autumn scenery was gorgeous. We will go back to explore the trails in the area and stay at this comfortable and spacious rental.

Hands down the BEST vrbo we have ever stayed at. Perhaps more like a cruise where just about EVERYTHING was provided. The fridge was stocked with milk and eggs for breakfast. There were 2 different cereals plus coffee, butter, oils for cooking etc... Impeccably clean. Extra new toiletries (razors, toothpaste, flossing stuff, etc) there if needed. Had an EV as a rental car and there is a level 2 charger at the parking spot. Hosts were super kind, as chatty or distant as you choose. Tony took me on a local area tour to some hidden gems. No silly "wash the sheets and towels, mop the floor" demands. Just a perfect place to stay. Again the absolute best place I have stayed at, including several up scale hotels. Not a negative thing to say at all.

With a beautiful view of the Columbia gorge, this unit was quite pleasant and well located. Very clean with complete selection of appliances. Even breakfast food provided. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Loved this little house and the hosts, Tony & Ana! So clean and comfortable, in a great, safe location close to everything the area has to offer. The nearly brand-new house is very well equipped with furnishings, bed and bath linens, etc. Nice kitchen with new appliances and well outfitted for cooking. New washer and dryer. But then, the hosts go above and beyond. We arrived to find the kitchen stocked with eggs, milk, cereal, butter, coffee, creamers, bottled water and much more, including fresh tomatoes. The bathroom has extra little toiletries in case you forgot anything.
Tony and a friend built the house on the property next to their home. So they are there if you need anything, but there is also plenty of privacy. We wanted to meet and thank them, so they did come over for a few minutes, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. Fine people!!
This truly was one of our best vacation rental experiences ever, and has spoiled us. Will be very hard for any future properties and hosts to live up to this!

We had a beautiful 3 day stay on the Gorge - location is secluded and peaceful yet close to the cute town of White Salmon and 15’ to Hood River. The house is generously appointed with everything you need and more, including generous breakfast items! Beds are comfy and view from main room and outside deck is wonderful. This home was exactly what we needed when we came home from a long day of hiking. Everything was clean, and Tony and Ana had everything we needed. Small toiletries, cooking oils, spices, they even gave us fresh food items for breakfast, eggs, milk, cereal, etc.! Tony is super friendly with great recommendations and eager to help in any way. Absolutely everything you need or want for a VRBO stay is at this place. Everything is new and clean as a whistle, beds and couches are super comfortable, tons of stuff for breakfast. No 55 year old man should eat frosted flakes but I did and enjoyed them immensely. Eggs, butter, milk, margarine, Cheerios, pancake and muffin mix etc. The view from the back porch is worth a million dollars right there. Bonus of young Stellars Jays in the bird bath every single day. You will enjoy the place and you could not ask for a better host than Tony!

Thisa accommodation is first rate. Basically a stand alone house with all amenities you could could think of! Everything is new and very clean, with a wonderful location and view. Tony is a great host and very attentive. We stayed here for my wife’s Bday and she was a very happy camper. It isn’t available often since it’s so unique. It was great to stay in a brand new place overlooking the ridges along the Columbia River. White Salmon is a cute little town and much less busy than Hood River across the river. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items including cereal, milk, butter, eggs, pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea. I will definitely stay here again!

Tony and Ana’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Outfitted with everything you could possibly need and more! The view from the covered back porch is lovely. You’re a 15 min walk to town (through the neighborhood trail Tony told us about) or a 15 min drive to some wonderful trails for hiking, biking and exploring. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

I've never stayed at such a clean, well stocked vrbo. Tony was an awesome host and the house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. He didn't even make us do anything to checkout. His neighbor who happened to be trimming roses stopped by and gave us some.
