The welcome is very comprehensive and reception staff is exceptionally attentive, helpful and responsive which was wonderful. The location is excellent, very close to the centre of town and the art gallery. There is guest parking on site which is next to a lovely public park.
Our room was very small and a little claustrophobic for the price. There was no luggage rack or anywhere to put your case and space was cramped. Towels were small for a "luxury" room and only one bath towel per guest, although there were 2 bathrobes. We had to climb several flights of stairs as there is no lift (since it is a heritage property) so if you have difficulty carrying your luggage upstairs, this may not be the right place for you.

Fantastic property (an old bank) and location. Very interesting decor and layout. Private car parking. Good eating options opposite at "The Wine Bank" and in the area. Incredibly helpful staff.
Ongoing developments to the property limited in-house breakfast/dining options, but not a material issue as plenty of local choices.

My stay was comfortable and the room exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and amenities. It's evident that a lot of thought and care has gone into creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Upon my arrival, the interaction I had with the reception staff member was unfortunately not in line with the high standards I have come to associate with the hotel.

I liked the decor and the manager was very helpful.
I could hear the shower in the suite next door.

The building was beautiful and the room was stylish and clean.
There are no facilities, it really is just the room, there is no restaurant or bar, including no breakfast offered. The lovely man who checked me in left after I arrived and that was it, no staff on site, it felt a little odd.

The location was very central.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The room was backing on to the car park and the back entrance to the hotel, so you had people walking past the room at all hours.
The room was dark, but you couldn't open any blinds due to the foot traffic.

The friendly and caring team. Nicole in particular was a stand out and was so very kind to relocate us to a ground floor room when we realised my husband wasn't capable of climbing the stairs to the top floor room that was originally allocated to us.
We loved it all - thank you.
If I had to give feedback - maybe a small non slip rubber mat for the bath when showering in room 3 - it can be a bit slippery getting in.

Lovely room, great location, wonderful host.
My only complaint would be the high pillows.

The History as it was an old bank that was held up and a sniper was placed opposite the back on a roof top and he was able to take out the robber and there is still a hole in the main entry window to this day from the bullet
It was all fine

the beautiful old building has lots of history and is modern and cosy inside. Martin (one of the owners) was so helpful, all the recommendations for lunch/breakfast and dinner were spot on. He was so helpful and friendly. I love the modern art and the location was perfect, next to the gardens and right in the middle of town. we walked everywhere. We took our bikes and rode both directions along the creek trail. We wound definitely stay again and would recommend.
