Great location with lovely views but cold in winter.

the property is new and stylishly appointed. There is a huge shower in the bathroom and another Toilet with washing machine. One entrance to 2 apartments. This apartment on lower floor with secluded views from window and covered patio.

The weather was very cold the week we stayed. Unfortunately there is only 1 heater/air conditioning unit in the whole property!! It is situated in the open plan kitchen/lounge area and it only heats the kitchen. There is a throw on the sofa. There is no heater in the bedrooms or bathrooms. As it was a new property I assumed these would be installed. One day while I was in bed (no heating in bedroom) someone rang our bell as my husband went to answer the person was trying his key in our door. When my husband asked what he wanted he said he was from the other apartment and was looking for cleaning products. I notified the owner of the incident she asked me to keep calm. Considering my husband and I were in bed when someone tried to enter our apartment I was calm. The morning we left it was still dark. We left our hire car and we were notified that the lock had been damaged by an attempted break in. We didn’t notice as it was dark when we left. It must have happened in the street the night before we left. We notified Maria for her information. She did not reply. The apartment will be cool in the summer heat. In the winter there is little sun on the apartment around 4:30 pm. A big tree provides shade on the patio.
