We had a handful of friends at this great property for our 17th annual Fantasy Football draft! Sara was amazing in helping us get booked and settled and we had a GREAT couple days enjoying the lake from her home! I’m 100% sure that I’ll take the championship again this year and we couldn’t have picked a better spot to come together and start the fantasy football season! Thank you Sara!

This house was more than enough space for the 9 of us! Inside, there are 3 separate gathering areas, which is fantastic! In addition to the 2 outdoor spaces, we had plenty of room to spread out and hang out!
The beds and linens were comfortable. The rooms felt quiet at night (and with good blackout curtains), which made for easy sleeping.
The lake is so lovely and quiet as well. We hung out in the warm water most of the day! The offer plenty of floats and life jackets (as well as 6 chairs down at the dock).
The ping pong and shuffleboard tables were entertaining.
The owner was prompt to respond to questions.
We would definitely book again.

We rented this house with another family for a few days before we dropped our kids off at Camp Thunderbird. The house has amazing space! We had 6 kids and 4 adults. Our girl group LOVED the bunk room and the boys were able to have their own beds downstairs. The adults were upstairs with wonderful rooms as well.
The downstairs living space was perfect for the kids to chill and watch a movie after a long day on the lake. During lunch they played a couple rounds of ping pong.
The house is beautifully decorated and makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The dock was great and we were able to tie our boat up to enjoy the lake. Great location! We will definitely be back!

This beautiful 5 bedroom 3 bathroom lake house was the perfect fit for our immediate family trip. We comfortably fit 9 adults, 2 kids and an infant. The house has so many nice little touches towel hooks in every room, beside table chareges for your phone, board and card games for the kids and family. The mutilpe open louge areas inside and outside spaces that this house has is wonderful. It allowed for a large group of people to spread out in the house. When it came to items for the lake the house was prepared with floating water seats and life vest for the kids. We truly enjoyed our days on the lake and fire pit. The time spent together as a fmaily in the house was wonderful. We ware already talking about plans to come next summer. The host is just wonderful and answered all my questions right away. This is a truly a lovely property in a wonderful setting.

We only had a couple of days for a quick trip to the lake, but after arriving we really wished we had more time! The property is beautiful, cozy, and very functional. The teens enjoyed having the ping pong table and the quiet cove for swimming. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Looking forward to staying here again and having the time to relax a little longer!

We stayed at the property this weekend for a relaxing bachelorette trip. We had an issue with the AC working and Sara was extremely responsive and sent someone to the property to fix the next day. The house was clean, organized, & beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the house was really safe and quiet. The location was perfect and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay!!

We really enjoyed staying here! The house was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of beds for our whole family as well as multiple hang out areas. Kid friendly. The provided life vests and floats were perfect for playing in the lake. We will definitely be returning for a future vacation.

Our family of 10 stayed comfortably in this property. The neighborhood is very quiet and the children enjoyed the lake activities (swimming, canoeing and fishing) The grounds are lovely and the lakefront is peaceful. We even saw deer and bunnies and my personal favourite was listening to all the birds singing. Property owner is a sweetheart - highly recommend!

The house was in a perfect location on the lake. The dock was great for our boat. Our rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit (bring your own wood). Some solar lights on the stairs to the fire pit would help with safety and would have liked to have had oil in the torches. Two of the chairs were broken. The deck and patio were a great place to sit and watch the water and geese. So relaxing! It was not a big deal but the deck/patio furniture were really dirty. There was even a bird’s nest in one of the patio chairs behind the pillow. Mitch was great to help on the first night when the A/C stopped working. It was fixed within two hours late on a Friday night! Thanks Mitch!! Great House on a Great Lake!!

We invited family from the Carolinas and Alabama to join us in this heavenly spot close to our niece and her daughter. The home is perfectly appointed, and stylishly decorated. Lots of spaces to gather and enjoy the time together, and rented a boat for one day to see more of the lake. Especially enjoyed the kitchen with everything we needed to cook all our meals close by. Hope to come back soon!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house with our adult children. It was equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed swimming and fishing from the dock and taking the canoe out into the lake. The wildlife that checked in with us was an added bonus!! We loved the Sanctuary walking trails to start out our day and endless hands of euchre on the lower patio to end our nights. The only time we left in search of other entertainment was the one day we had rain. Thank you for the memories.

We had an excellent stay at the home. It was really close to the airport which helped with travel. We used Instacart and stocked up on food for the week. The house was clean and kitchen was stocked. The convenience of the lake was great with the kids and the canoe was a fun treat. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! We had 5 adults and 5 kids <1 through 6 yrs old and the kids had a blast. There were multiple TVs through the house for relaxing and tons of games for the kids to play. The loft was a big hit with the kids, a place for them to play and get away. The dock was awesome for jumping and swimming. The kids fished all week long and caught crappies, bass and catfish all the time. Head to the Walmart and get some nightcrawler worms, the fish ate em up! The area was quite and relaxing, but close enough to stores and restaurants if needed. The host was very responsive with some little needs and we could not be more pleased with our stay!

The property was amazing. Beautiful home, very clean, with lots of amenities and amazing backyard view of the lake. Visited over the weekend with friends and family and we loved our stay. Sara was a great host, she provided all the information we needed for the house as well as information for things to do at the lake. Would love to come back another time!

I'm a chronic VRBO user, finding this service to be THE answer to taking trips.
Inside of VRBO, there are a wide ranging array of owners. Most are good. Some are great. And, then...there's this host!
To say that the stay was a cut above the rest for me (about 25 stays nationally so far), would be an understatement. From the attention to the decor, things as simple as plentiful towels, even the ease of accessing the electronics, or even communication as needed, Sara rolls out the carpet for a guest like no other. In fact, her beautifully designed PDF user guide leaves no room for error.
And, we haven't even begun to talk about the house itself, the deck, the incredible beds, the body pillows, the multiple amazing living spaces, including the outside living room, or even....THE LAKE!
My only complaint is that the lure they left on the fishing rod I used...didn't catch any fish. But, I'm perpetually looking to blame others for my inability to fish anyhow. So, take this one with a grain of salt.
Bottom line: If you're vacation requires you to stay south of Candada and north of Brazil...stay HERE!

First of all, this place is beautiful and it has all the accommodations of home. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our crowd with plenty of room for get togethers for meals or just relax in the back overlooking Wylie Lake. Loads to do in this home with board games, ping pong table, and shuffle board table to keep everyone busy. We hope to come back here soon. Thank you Sara, for sharing your lake home with us.

To celebrate a year of hard work, I took my team to Lake Wylie and had the pleasure of staying at Steele Creek. Everything was wonderful! Inside, the home was decorated immaculately including a great gathering space in the lower level. Outdoor gathering spaces were also great. Spent time around the fire pit and cooking on the grill. Also brought our boat and docked it at the property. Nothing but great feedback from my team. We truly enjoyed the time to fellowship at this beautiful home. Very appreciative of Sara and her family for letting us use it.

What an absolute gem of a property on Lake Wyile! I have stayed in many VRBO properties for both business and pleasure and this one may be my favorite! The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with, and she did an excellent job of making me feel like a special guest in her home.
The house is beautifully decorated with high end finishes yet still maintains a nice cozy vibe that made me feel very much at home. With 4 king bedrooms and an incredible bunk room the house is a great fit for groups. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed for nightly dinners. There are two comfortable indoor living areas and the outdoor living area was a huge hit for a our group each night. I cannot recommend this property enough and I look forward to renting again with my family.

Driving up to this house it looks so cute. When we walked in we realized how deceiving the outside was, it is huge! Plenty of space for family and friends to spread out and unwind. Not only was this place beautifully decorated and immaculate, you could tell each room was thoughtfully done, from the charging stations on each bed table to the sweet stuffed animals in the bunk room with the extra long beds. Each bedroom had a super cozy king bed and plenty of space for luggage. The kitchen had everything we needed from a coffee maker to utensils we needed for grilling. Lots of community space with a number of sitting areas including the outside deck and patio, as well as the upstairs loft with cozy furniture throughout. Adults and children enjoyed all of the games and equipment including ping pong, checkers, numerous tubes and the foam lily pad that the kids spent hours on. I spent the day floating on the water and sitting on the comfortable Adirondack chairs on the dock, with easy access to the house as we are right on the water.. what a view!! We are 100% renting this house again .. minutes from the outlets, close to my home, but feels like a true escape!

My family and I have done several rentals on Lake Wylie, and this hands down was the absolute best! First, the actual house is magazine worthy! It’s even more stunning, comfortable and well equipped in person. From the bunk room (which was a major highlight) to the KING sized COMFORTABLE beds in EACH room! It was spotlessly clean, felt brand new! It is spacious with the bonus room and full bath on the 3rd floor and the HUGE basement! We are al fresco every meal and enjoyed the covered patio below for our morning coffee! Now let’s talk Lake. Steps away from the house is beautiful doc in great condition. The home is located in a “no wake” zone so it was quiet, peaceful and serene. Just jump off the doc and enjoy the water! Honestly, there is not a single thing I’d change about this house! Just wish I’d stayed here sooner!

Where to start... the home is beautiful, it was exactly as pictured. The lake was so much fun and the location on quiet cove on the lake was fantastic way for us to check out the area. We rented boat that was delivered to the home so we could really experience the area and it did not disappoint. Sara was super responsive and answered all my questions very quickly and clearly went the extra mile. Top notch destination, highly recommend! We'd love to stay here again in the future.
