My stay at the Red Roof Inn in Bellflower was horrible. When we first checked in the power in the first room was completely out. After being moved to the second room I repeatly had to go to the front desk to get towels. This hotel is a horrible place to stay in.

I booked this room for a family member.The room was not clean properly. There were used towels hanging from the shower curtain area . The room wasn't cleaned with disinfectant, my family saw Windex used to mop the floor, the cleaning attendant was observed cleaning a room in less 5 mins . When towels where thrown out into the front of the room during cleaning, a few roaches were seen . The front desk employee was rude and not helpful addressing concerns regarding the room . It took 3 days to fix the lock on the door which caused a lock out of the room and the front desk wasn't available to open the door which caused a lock out a few times of over an hour. Old motorhomes in the rear parking lot and abandoned vehicles

Dirty room, dirty bathroom, walls dirty, chairs were dirty as well. Everything was not clean. There was a dish in the refrigerator. The AC was not label correctly, we didn’t know how to turn on cool or hot on the unit.

The hotel is horrible and the room has no maintenance in any way, the bathroom has the w.c. broken and has no soap nor shower curtain, it has flying bugs all over the room, the smoke detector was cover d with plastic and it has a mariguana smell so strong that get me and my family dizzy. When I asked to the receptionist for another room, told me there was no availability and I asked for cancelling the rest of the reservation, she told me she will do it, and now I found it was not cancelled. I had to pay for another hotel room for safety and health and the property is still not wanting to cancell and refund. Don't go to this property, it is using fake photos and fake information.

the front desk guy which was a kid took 3 hours to give me my room and wanted me to pay when it was already paid for. and didn’t even give me the room i paid for but the ugliest and most trashiest room they had

The hotel was old, the air conditioner did work but was old, rusty and was taped in position. The bathroom tub was old with marks from being worn down. The bathroom was surface clean but not thoroughly. cleaned. The floors needed scrubbing. The comforter was thin like a sheet and the towels were very thin. They only had 1 washcloth the entire 3 day stay but she did give me extra towels. There were no cups or ice bucket. No hooks to hang towels in bathroom and no hangers in the room for clothes. I had to go to the front desk and ask; she gave me 4 hangers to use which helped. The bed was off balance and moved and made a noise everytime you stepped off of it. Every time we left and came back our key didn’t work. No one came in daily to fix our bed or change our towels. It was loud at night; I didn’t feel safe as our door shut but appeared like it had been previously tampered with and the thing that serves as a safety hook at the top was broken. There was a lot of activity at night and my daughter asked me, “isnt that the prostitution hotel?” She is familiar with the area.
The only good part was the front desk ladies(2) were very nice. Truthfully , I wanted to cancel and go somewhere else but I’d already paid so we stuck it out. I was really disappointed but my hubby talked me into staying but I will never stay at a Red Roof again; I previously thought they were a decent hotel but I’d be afraid to risk it again.

I had to leave at checkout due to infestations did not stay there and the manager still has not issued my refund the clerk immediately collected the key and returned my deposit at checkin since I did not stay there but the manager is not doing their job and handling my refund of the cost of the room. Terrible experience.

The room was not clean and it had roaches inside the room no cleaning lady. and and there was a hole in the bathroom in back of the door and it was paper inside and it was a little mice sticking out. He’s head it was gross.the pillows were not clean they had hair all over. do not recommend this hotel.

Please, don't ever stay here. I looked at reviews and we just need one night before our cruise. if i could this place negative stars i would. this shouldn't even be on hotel.com for a place to stay. the smell, very dingy, staff all bad the room had bugs in the room climbing up the walls the bathroom look like someone was outline in chalk..

I booked this property on Expedia. I already paid for the room . What they don’t tell you is when you check in you are required to pay cash or card a $50 dollar refundable deposit . Then it took 3xs to go downstairs to get a card to my room cuz the one I had didn’t work . Finally the clerk came and saw my keys were not working . Remind you my room is on the second floor . So she gave me another room . I was so annoyed .

We’ve been faithfully staying here on our days off to relax but everytime we stay here something’s wrong..from the toilet to the tv not working I paid over 200 for two days and the tv did not work and they offered to switch rooms the next day but who feels like moving all your stuff somewhere else when u wake up?I even seen a maid open a door for a man into a room that wasn’t even his just because he told her it was his room and he was locked out. There were people in there laying down not sure what happened after that but that is very unsafe. There’s holes in the blankets holes in the walls. When you make complaints they don’t care. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt everytime but it’s getting worse everytime we stay. They’re constantly moving furniture all night if we stay down on the bottom floor you just hear banging and stuff being moved around for hours..the tv sometimes doesn’t work. And the Wi-Fi barely works or doesn’t at all and because of that your cellphone service doesn’t always work either. We make complaints all the time and we’re never accomendated for anything it’s just like oh well just don’t stay here anything.. we will never stay again and currently looking into taking legal action.

I had 2 rooms 203 was ok smelled of smoke still. 204 my niece didn’t even stay in it. It smelled soooo much like smoke, the bed spread had cigarette burns in it. I’d like my money back for 204. Do not recommend. The pictures on site are not correct. Rooms are very old.

We had to switch rooms for a total of 5 times. They had us go into a room that was already occupied, one room smelled like cigarettes, the other room was stained with dark spots, the other room had multiple cockroaches, and a big jumped out of the bed from the last one. It was awful experience and the air conditioner was old where it didn’t even work. It was the worst experience ever.

When we tried to check in they wouldn’t let my husband check in due to them trying to charge us 3 days before our check in. I had to go in and tell them 2 separate times that I put pay at property. Then everyday we were there ( 7 days) after 11 our room card would stop working so we’d have to go back to get it fixed every single day. When husband let them know the male that works there at night said “I might fix it tomorrow” and sent him back. The problem was never fixed. I had a baby in a stroller I had to carry upstairs 2 times a trip to get that fixed with asthma. Never again.

We were down graded 7/5/24 to smaller 1 bed room had to buy air matress for the kids, pool not working, there were cocaroaches in the first room the reason for down grade. Not enough towels or wash clothes we had issues with fridges not being able to use the freezer part. Tv remotes not working. Staff was nice and we were polite and understanding but when you pay for 7 days expect a little compensation
