This property is a small family run business . All the people who worked there really tried hard to make everything great. I was not feeling good with a flue stomach and was hoping for fresh food and they always seemed to find it for me. They helped with a booking tour and pointed out some animals. The pool was clean and refreshing. The only thing I could say that the curtains on the big windows where a little bit of a challenge to cover everything or get into the door and the lounge chairs looked a little bit on the run down side but in all we had a great time and would book this hotel any day:)

Staff wanted to be helpful but the property is sparse and restrictive in terms of amenities and looks shabby from the outside. The rooms are clean but also look run down. There were only two very tiny bars of soap, no shampoo, and only one clothes hanger. The owner really needs to learn more about modern standards of hospitality business. I wouldn’t rate this as a 3- star hotel.

Located near public transportation. We saw scarlet macaws from our deck.

As it has been mention before, very tired hotel in need of some renovation. It felt like a hostel not a hotel. Area nothing to write about.
However, the girls running it were very nice..

Staff mainly spoke Spanish. Very helpful and kind staff. Close to road. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice. Air conditioning worked well. Blow dryer in bathroom.

Overall a good value. Great location and nice pool area. Mini fridge and AC in room worked well. Cleanliness was good. Some things to note: most staff only speak Spanish so communication could be challenging. They are nice and friendly though. Seating area outside is nice. There was some issue with the correct room (I booked a room with two beds but they gave me a room with just one) but they quickly resolved the issue. Again a good value - I would consider staying again.

The hotel was well run by a dedicated group of people. They were very polite and attentive. The room was clean and nice. We especially enjoyed the monkeys that were hanging around. There was a tropp of howler monkeys that were constantly in a tree across the road that woke us up at dawn like a rooster does, which was neat for us. One night, while our kids were swimming and playing in the well maintained and clean pool, and we were having drinks made up by their bartender next to the pool, a group of squirrel monkeys stopped by the pool to the delight of everybody at the pool.
Also, location was great. About a 15 minute drive to El Avion Bar (awesome) and Manuel Antonio Park (eastern beach is the best).

We had a quite decent and comfortable stay there. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and warm. Kids had lot of fun there. Breakfast was fresh , but bit pricy. The room were ok. Had some bugs creeping in , but the rooms were very neat and clean. Very nice location . Everything is nearby.

We had enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive to our questions prior to getting there. They were very accommodating to our needs during our stay. Thank you so much to Karina, Dani, and William for making our experience in Manuel Antonio so pleasant. I love the hotel location to the bus stop. We took the bus to the beach and downtown Quepos. Will definitely come back here again if we are in the area.

We stayed in Room #1 and there was loads of space. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. The staff were extremely helpful and the security of the hotel was comforting (an additional gate that you receive a key for). The only issue I had, which I think is specific to Room #1, is that the breakfast tables (which you can also use throughout the day) are directly outside one side of the room, so you can hear staff setting up and guests' conversations early in the morning. That said, I would definitely stay again.

Hotel was clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. We got the orange room with a King and Queen. AC is above the queen bed so we had to put it on high to keep the room cool for the couple in the King bed but they had a ceiling fan so it wasn’t too bad.
Because of the mountainous roads the parking is tough but we realized all locals are very used to coming up around a hill on a corner and stopping on a dime! If someone in your party has trouble with stairs I would not recommend this place because the stairs are steep and there are not handrails on all of the stairs. I accidentally booked for two people and didn’t realize it is an extra $20 per night for a third person.
Great place for the price and would stay again.

Very nice place and the staff let us use their kitchen plates and knives. Very kind. The pool was delightful and the area perfect for a visit to Manual Antonio and to go whale watching. Only request to oil the hinges of the bathroom door and attach the shower handle more securely.
Very pleasant place and we had a great time where we felt right at home.

It was so clean! It had a few places nearby to eat. It had no televisions in the rooms, And sometimes no staff around. It had breakfast if you pay, but staff would avoid you if you didn’t speak Spanish at breakfast. I would recommend Mimos 300 meters away with a restaurant, staff, and bar. I would go there to get drinks and get dinner. Also no eating or drinking I’m the rooms, and no microwave. When our shower heater shorted out, they were quick to fix it though!

Very comfortable and convenient location on the main bus line (for the Manuel Antonio-Quepos bus that runs every 15 minutes), just minutes on the bus from the Manuel Antonio park entrance and Playa Espadilla. Great pool. Squirell monkeys hang out on the trees accross the street. Friendly staff and breakfast served on demand. Overall worked great for our 4 day stay as a budget-friendly, safe, clean and convenient location. My 13 year old wants to add that the "breakfast was really good". There is also a little common kitchen if you choose to cook your own food.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. But the condition of the hotel was not great. The rooms were dark and musty, and smelled of mildew. The shower heads and the window curtains were dirty and visibly coming apart. The first night we were there, we didn’t have any hot water and there was no one around to help us with it. Although the staff were very nice and the price was decent, I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location, with great service, at a no-frills property. Breakfast is available - at a price - and highly recommended. Staff is incredibly attentious and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a swimming pool. Location is perfect, in between the town of Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park, and there is public transportation available right at the door.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Dominical. The room was nice and the location was excellent if you're going to Manuel Antonio Park. The staff was very nice and accommodating!!! A pleasure to deal with. Will definitely stay again if in the area!!!

We stayed for a couple of comfortable and enjoyable nights. The staff are very helpful and accommodating, and even a few cute monkeys were welcome to stop by for a snack. The location is convenient between Quepos and Manuel Antonio park but a little bit of a hike if you want to go to local restaurants (on a hill, but just a few mins by car). Overall, a very good value.

We stayed for 3 days at Colibri and enjoyed it. Karina, the owner of the property was always available if we needed help. Miguel, the hotel boy was amazingly friendly. He spoke only Spanish and we barely know any Spanish but still he was always ready to listen to us and help. Extremely friendly people and the rooms are very big. We did not have hot water in our shower and Miguel came immediately to fix it although it was late in the night that we notified him. When it couldn't be fixed, Karina offered us to use the other room to take showers. Highly recommend this property.
