A very nice view from the balcony over the golf course, good facilities, very helpful staff

The staff were friendly and the room was excatly as described. A good, reasonably priced place to stay in a beautiful part of the world.

This hotel was strategically located from downtown Wolfeboro. Our unit had 2 bedrooms. It was quiet, nicely heated, clean, and sported a small kitchen including refrigerator, microwave, and stove. The furniture was older with scratches, but for the price, it was worth it. The land was walkable bordering a golf course. We had a lovely deck overlooking some great playground equipment for kids. We will return.

Cute older hotel. The stairs to the third floor are very narrow and steep so this isn’t the place for a lot of luggage. Overall, good stay. Receptionists were very sweet and helpful

The room I have is amazing!

Amazing room with a deck over looking the Lake....
2.5
The staff are very kind and helpful. It’s nice that because it is a resort there are more amenities like free kayak rental. We liked the balcony and nice view of the golf course. The room was pretty worn however and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge and little kitchen.

We had a great nights stay. Room was nice and quiet

Awesome place with a ton of things to do! Great on the budget, while still giving you access to a ton of things. Resort comes with pool, lake access, free kayaks and paddle boats, badminton, tennis, a small gym, and is walking distance from a ton of cool spots around town. All that come with the base room! Also, rooms are always clean and comfortable, staff is super friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well stocked, and if anything is missing in a room, they'll make sure they get it for you. Awesome place to go, will be going back multiple times.
2.5
Older place convenient to downtown next to a golf course. Nice check-in experience, knowledgeable desk clerk, big family space. It was an excellent stopover.

I was pleasantly surprised by this resort. The standard studio was exactly what i was looking for. Ckean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but all the essentials. Staff at front desk were great.

We stayed at the Windrifter for 2 nights as we had a wedding in Wolfeboro. Our room was located in the main part of the inn, but was on the third floor without access to an elevator. It would have been difficult to reach the room if we had had mobility concerns. Window air conditioner units cooled the space, but were somewhat noisy. Our room was street side which also contributed to a less quiet stay ( motorcycles & trucks). Updated bathroom, but shower was rather small. The unit was equipped with everyday conveniences. An iron was missing, but readily available when we contacted office. Indoor salt water pool located on the grounds was clean and a nice perk. Located next door to the inn was Kingswood Golf Course; a perfect opportunity for us to walk to the course for a round of golf before the wedding. The inn is in a great location; 10 minutes to the center of the quaint Wolfeboro area! I know this inn is part of RCI for timeshare exchanges, which I am a member. I’m not at liberty to review the accommodations for this purpose, but staying in the main inn for our 2 day experience met its purpose.

Loved our little cottage over the lake w/ kitchen, living room and bedroom.
They did not make an effort to accommodate our moving from one unit to another during our stay

I checked ac filter when I arrived and it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in like 3months. I did a quick cleaning of filter and ac worked great. Everything else about the property was great.

The resort is a quaint New England type older wood building on the bay at Wolfeboro. The staff was great! The rooms are older and clean. It cannot compare to modern 5 star hotel, but you cannot wake up to deck overlooking this beautiful setting at a modern hotel either. I would recommend the stay and the prices were very reasonable. They even have assigned parking to make things easy.

I WANT A REFUND. I wish I could give negative stars. We couldn’t even stay for 15 minutes and they still won’t give me a refund. The room we had was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. There seemed to be blood stains on the front facing pillow on the bed, there was still garbage from the last guest in the bathroom, there was crumbs in the kitchen and the floors were filthy. The chair had stains as well. There was a musty smell as soon as we walked up the stairs. The worst part is they had new folded dish cloths in the kitchen so I’m sure someone would have said that room was “cleaned”. I am not one to write bad reviews but I still feel grossed out by this room, this was a relatively expensive room as well. we had to pay double for a different hotel after we left here in a hurry. Please do yourself a favour and take this off Expedia.

Very nice enjoyed our stay would recommend if you are up in Wolfeboro and you need a room it is worth it

We had a great stay as a family of four. Our 6 year old loved the pool area. The closeness to town made it a short walk to see the Fourth of July parade and get to check out a few of the shops. Beautiful surrounding area and lots of beaches easily accessible. Our only thought would be we thought it would have been nice if they washed the balcony off between stays (it was very very dusty with pollen)

A good place to get a room. Ice cold air. Quiet and convenient. Nothing fancy

You get a real key! So old school which was fine but needs updating. Cobwebs all over our room.

We love the windrifter. The office staff are the nicest people! Our last stay was in the main building and on third floor. It was clean and all we needed for one night. But could use some updating. Overall great place I prefer the superior studio in big villa. Great place for kids or to go to the NH Bank Pravillion for a concert. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Quiet, walking trails close, staff very friendly, a lot of amenities for family to enjoy. Dislikes needed coffee filters, bathroom could use a little updating or refresh but all in all great stay will return.

Beautiful area and hotel very nice... My only suggestion.. when we first got to room..very clean but they used so much cleaning product in bathroom it caused an asthma attack..put vent on and opened slider and it cleared out.. but not healthy for anyone.. But great place!! Room amazing

The screen door was broken. It did not shut all the way. And no chain on the door. Noisy. Could hear the guy upstairs pacing for hours last night.

Was there on business and the accommodations were great. very friendly staff!

Simple accommodations at a reasonable price. We only stayed one night, so didn't experience much. The original building is very old, and the rooms show their age, but that did not bother us. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you are seconds from downtown.
