About this house rental

If you're looking for a somewhere special for a traditional seaside holiday or memorable weekend with friends and family this impressive three storey home and garden, located just steps from Southwold's sandy beach and a short walk to the bustling town centre, will tick all the boxes!

Interiors are spacious and beautifully designed and equipped for relaxing and entertaining in the stylish kitchen/dining room which opens into a sunny south facing courtyard garden, or in the elegant living room

GROUND FLOOR
The door from Chester road opens into a long hallway with Victorian style mosaic floor tiles. The carpeted stairs rise ahead of you, the living room's to your right, and the kitchen sits at the back of the house with doors to the courtyard garden.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
This light and airy open plan kitchen is ideal for socialising over long lunches round the large table, with French doors opening onto the secluded patio making it perfect for outdoor dining or for little guests to play outside.

The central island houses a butlers’ sink and dishwasher with three bar stools to perch and a wall mounted TV behind. A bench seat in one corner gives additional seating and the office, tucked into the other corner, allows guests work or study from home if need be.

Bespoke units run along two walls giving ample space for crockery, glassware and your groceries. Integrated appliances include a double fridge and two drawer freezer, electric double oven at waist height, warming drawer, five ring induction hob with extractor and two large drinks drawers. Additional free standing equipment includes a Tassimo coffee pod machine (please bring your own pods), a microwave and the essential toaster and kettle.

UTILITY/BOOT ROOM
Perfect for beach gear with a washing machine, dryer, butler's sink and space to store boots, coats, buggies etc.

LIVING ROOM
There’s plenty of space to relax in this lovely large room with wooden floor and bay window looking onto Chester Road. A modern log effect gas stove takes the chill off in winter and the room's elegantly furnished with two sofas,
four armchairs, foot stool and floor cushions for the kids; there’s also a Welsh dresser stacked with games, books and puzzles to amuse you and a small desk. Entertainment is provided with a large wall mounted TV, DVD player and Sonos music system.

FIRST FLOOR
Stairs rise from the entrance hall to the first floor landing with doors to the main bedroom, toilet, king and twin bedrooms plus the large shower room; all bedrooms are carpeted.

MAIN BEDROOM
A super king-size bed takes pride of place in this spacious designer bedroom with bedside cabinets, a dressing table/desk, a built in wardrobe with shelf and a wall mounted TV.

EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM
Fitted with a fully tiled shower cubicle, wash basin set into a vanity drawer, WC, heated towel rail and window.

TWIN BEDROOM
This charming twin overlooking the garden is furnished with twin beds, bedside tables, and a chest of drawer. It sits conveniently between the main bedroom and the first floor cloakroom.

KING BEDROOM
An attractive bedroom with a king size bed and storage in bedside drawers, an additional chest of drawers and chair with hooks on the door for hanging clothes.

TWIN BEDROOM
At the back of the house overlooking the patio, you'll find sturdy twin beds here too with bedside drawers, a large chest of drawers and a couple of chairs.

SHOWER ROOM
A key feature is the massive mosaic tiled shower in this room which also has a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail (towels provided) and a window giving natural light.

SECOND FLOOR
Stairs rise from the first to second floor landing where the twin and second king are found with the family bathroom.

TWIN BEDROOM
Overlooking the rooftops, this is the third twin and also has a desk, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and built in cupboard with shelves.

KING BEDROOM
Sitting in the eaves at the top of The Pink House with a view of the lighthouse, this bedroom also has a king size bed with ample storage in bedside drawers, chest of drawers, built in cupboard with shelves and a desk.

FAMILY BATHROOM
The bath here has a shower over it and there's a wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE
The Pink House has a small front garden separating it from the pavement. Chester Road has unrestricted parking so you’ll generally find a space close by or in one of car parks by the Pier or Common on Godyll Road. There's a fully enclosed sunny south facing garden at the back which is furnished with a bench and chairs and has a gate leading along the back of the neighbouring houses.
