Cleanliness, good beds, location
Using the key code. Couldn't open door to suite and needed several phone calls. Eventually we decided to leave access to basement unlocked. Also, we were unaware of this being a basement suite, which made the second night with other occupants above us quite noisy. Perhaps chair socks and the use of slippers would be an idea?

The location is good.
The noises from upstairs were so loud. You could hear that people upstairs cough, talk, and TV. Plus they were jumping, stamping and dragging something. Making all kind of loud noises all day long. We cannot sleep at all and my poor kid kept woken up by the noises.
The towels were dirty. We found some hair on them. The coffee French press was not washed. The bathroom is so old and dark.
There’s no AC in the room and this is a basement. It gets really hot in the room and not comfortable.
The moment I walked in the house, I instantly started regretting for booking this place. It smells so bad. Old, dust and some cleaning products.

Location was ok
Was not clean, It was in basement which was not identified. We were given code which allowed us to enter upper unit so we assumed this is where we were staying. We dropped our luggage and belongings and went into downtown to explore. We received a call from Nomadics representative and told us we were in wrong unit. So another family was allowed in with our belongings. Nomadics representative asked us if the other family could move our belongings to the basement unit, we replied no. Nomadics put 2 families in a very uncomfortable position and left us to go back and remove our belongings while the other family was still there. The other family was very accommodating but neither of us should have been put in this potentially dangerous situation. Nomadic’s rep argued that we’re not able to enter the first unit with our code(inexcusable). I could go on but I think you get the picture.

Comfortable, clean, well supplied.
We didn’t realize we would be in a basement suite. It was very cool in the evenings and we had no control over the heat. A space heater would be helpful. Also, the upstairs was rented to someone who was working and got up very early every morning which woke us up every day. When you’re on holidays, sleeping in is part of the fun!

Great apartment, super clean, easy to access. Overall great experience. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, will be back!
Nothing!!

Perfect size for two friends. Kitchen was a plus.
Had two issues with the outside door key lock! There is no thermostat for this basement suite, so we lived in our sweaters.
There is a family with two small kids that lives upstairs. The early running around and playing the piano was annoying.
The $90 cleaning fee is excessive.

The property is relatively close to the attractions in Drumheller
To start with the 'guest check in system' is probably the worst thing I have ever had to use to get into a property. I was using an iphone 13 and the id verification software kept crashing or couldn't recognise my brand new Alberta Drivers licence. I tried this over a dozen times and it kept crashing. We tried again when we pulled up to the property close to midnight, again it crashed.
Luckily there was a customer service rep available on the phone. However her english was terrible. She kept asking me to complete the check in. I told her about a dozen times it doesn't work. She eventually got the idea. This house is divided into upstairs and downstairs apartments. Nowhere on the website does it say that the 'Colour' apartment is a basement apartment. The rep initially gave me the door code to the upstairs apartment. I opened the door and there were people asleep on the couch. She finally understood that we had booked the basement suite. Several more attempts and she gave me the correct door code.
The 'apartment' is a pokey run down basement area. The doors do not close properly. The floor makes terrible noises as you try and walk around.
The beds were god damn awful and there were no extra blankets to try and sleep warm. We had to get blankets out of our car that we travel with. The place is freezing, there is no heating control in the actual apartment. When I contacted the property owner they had to ask the upstairs guests to adjust the thermostat. Place was still cold.
The bathroom is shocking. The shower control knob fell off. There is no powerpoint in the bathroom. There is also nowhere to hang towels.
Prior to travelling to Drumheller we added an extra night's stay with the property owner. Something glitched in their system and they changed the door code on us while we were out that day. Another phone call and a rep who could barely speak English telling me to complete the guest check in using my ID.

The location (in town): centrally located in a nice neighborhood. Refreshingly, the internet was great, we could stream easily.
Where to start? Don’t let the pictures fool you: You rent the basement of a house. Some minor complaints like a kitchen without a dishwasher, a way too small table (for a property that claims could sleep 7, there’s only 4 chairs and a small table), very old fashioned bathroom, … But the biggest complaint, what you should definitely be aware of, is the fact that the acoustics of the place is all wrong: you share the house with the owner/renter and every cough, every step, every sound (s)he makes, you’ll hear. It is unsettling during the day and downright unacceptable during the night, when I was awoken by him/her getting up at 6:30. A message to the host about this was ignored so no help there. To avoid, unless you’re ok with this.

It had a nice layout and decor
Basement suite, noisy when the other renters upstairs are up at 5:30am and stomping around.

The apartment was nicely decorated and it was comfortable for our family. The location was great, quiet neighbourhood and close to grocery stores.
The carpet on the stairs toward the basement smells terrible, which made the first impression of the apartment very unpleasant. The dishes and cutlery weren't very clean, so we had to rinse everything before using it.

Great location, size, and furnishings. Nice and clean. Cute place for the most part and we enjoyed having our own space. Instructions for access were a little confusing, but host was very responsive and helped us out.
Photos are a little misleading in what they don't show. Bathroom is very old and without a fan so it's on the musty side for sure. Kitchen isn't one you really want to cook in, but it did the trick for simple breakfasts and snack prep. Bathroom door doesn't close without a hard shove and big bang and bedroom doors don't close easy either which isn't a big deal for some but a bit of a nagging hindrance when you have sleeping kids. We really wanted to love this place and I think if the host finished off some details and refinished the bathroom and kitchen the way they did in the rest of the place they'd have a real winner.

Everything matches exactly as what was described. The host was also very receptive to calls and providing all the information we required.

It’s boiling hot. Very uncomfortable

House was very small, pictures very deceiving, bathroom fixtures didn't work, no light bulbs in the lamps, upstairs person woke everybody up at 5am stomping around. Very much in need of updating

This place has the softest and most wonderful towels I have ever experienced! Far better than any hotel (including 5 star). The suite was exactly as described and very well stocked with everything from tea, coffee, and dinnerware to extra towels and linens. There was even a lovely little french press for coffee and the cutest darn kettle. Everything was also very clean and comfortable, and the owners were very attentive.
All in all, this suite is wonderful, and we had the perfect amount of space for our group. I would definitely stay here again.
Nothing to note. The place was lovely :)

It was a quiet beautiful area we all loved it, felt like home.

Location, spacious, saved us booking 2 hotel rooms. Convenience and comfort.
Bathroom, though clean and adequate, could perhaps use an upgrade. The shower tap control was loose. That would be my wife being picky. She would book again, and recommend, but give them a heads up regarding the bathroom.

This is a good space for 3 people who all want their own space and beds. It's a basement suite that has been refinished, so has a cozy feel.
There is a fully functional kitchen and two separate bedrooms
I was annoyed to discover a $90 mandatory cleaning fee had been added to the costs upon booking. I feel that this should be included in the list price. That extra cost puts this place in the same range as some 3 star hotels, which is questionable value for a basement suite IMO.
