Good deal for the price

Der Bungalow war wirklich groß und hatte sehr viele Schränke und Ablageflächen. Durch die hohen Decken wirkte er riesig und luftig. Das Bett war bequem. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Alle Türen und Fenster sind mit Fliegengittern bestückt. Motorrollerverleih durch die Unterkunft problemlos ohne Pfand und sehr günstig. Große, klimatisierte Kleinbusse mit netten Fahrern bei Inanspruchnahme des Transferservice zu Flughafen und Pier. In 1-2 Min. ist man mit dem Roller bei Massagestudios, preiswerten Restaurants und dem 7Eleven. Der Strand ist sehr nah, nicht so voll mit Menschen und wir fanden ihn sehr schön.

Eine Freundin hatte einen kleineren Bungalow, dort waren lauter winzige Ameisen auf dem Boden (und später wohl auch im Bett) bei ihrer Ankunft. Ich hatte gebeten, gegen Kakerlaken zu sprühen vor Ankunft, was wahrscheinlich geschehen ist, wäre aber schön gewesen, die große tote Kakerlake unter dem Spülbecken auch wegzuräumen. Der Schwamm in der Küche wirkte ziemlich gebraucht. Im Kleiderschank waren in einem der Wandsteine kleine Löcher, in denen Schalenreste von sehr kleinen Eiern waren (ich vermute Gecko-Eier). An der Haupttür & dem Fenster hinter dem Bett waren Bambusrollos (die nicht vollständig verdunkelten), das Küchenfenster hatte aber gar keine Verdunkelung, so dass es morgens recht hell war. Die Zufahrtsstraße war zwar klein, abends aber häufig recht laut durch vorbeifahrende/parkende Roller & Menschen. Uns hat das nicht gestört, wer mit Lärm aber nicht schlafen kann, würde ein Problem haben (wie auch in all unseren anderen Unterkünften in Thailand 😅).

Lage und Bungalow über durchschnittlich!

Die Lage ist sehr gut, über die Strasse am Strand. Die Strasse ist endlich fertig, ich musste noch mit Koffer durch den Matsch! Der Strand ist schmal aber schön und sauber, für Kinder gut geeignet. Hauptstrasse und Seven/Eleven , Restaurants ca. 15 geh minuten entfernt.

Bed is te hard en de dekens leken op grote handdoeken. er hingen geen gordijnen maar doorzichtige bamboe rolluiken waardoor je het gevoel hebt dat iedereen naar binnen kan kijken

Great relaxing stay on Samui on a silent beach.

Nice place at a silent beach, wich much space in a comfy beach bungalow.

WiFi, but seems to dpend on the location (Mobile Net was also unreliable). Essentials (shower gel etc.) were missing. Road was blocked for maintanence without notice.

It's an excellent group of private detached bungalows in a tranquil and secluded spot. The people who run it are gentle and kind. They are not pushy or intrusive. It's all very relaxed and beautiful. The bungalows are fab value, all you need for short or long term comfortable stay. Special thanks to beautiful Julie and her team for keeping everything so lovely.

Stunning accommodation, beautiful gardens...

The bungalow was stunning - huge and luxurious - the split level layout was great and the furniture was top quality. There was a large kitchen which I didn't use but had everything you might need - pots, pans and utensils. The shower room was also big and very nicely laid out. The grounds were lush vegetation and flowers. The private garden area leading to the lovely beach was very nice and the view, beautiful. There was a 7/11 in walking distance (go in the coolest hours, as it's far to walk in the heat, as there's no shade). I was a solo traveller but I would say that the bungalow would really suit couples or families also. The air conditioning was very effective.

The bungalow was dark inside but that didn't bother me really, it just added to the atmosphere. The only reason I wouldn't return to this property is because I didn't like the restaurants in the area - there were only a few which were expensive and the staff were not friendly - an absolute first in Thailand! It was as if they were reflecting a run of rude customers because, as I said before, it is a first in Thailand, that the staff should be unfriendly. I found one good place to eat which was on the way to the 7/11 which was more like an authentic, side-of-the-road restaurant. I'd also say you are much better off with your own transport, like a scooter, as there is no other way of getting around.

A hidden gem for nature lovers

Hanalei Gardens is a jungly enclave of open, airy cabins. Cabins are large and comfortable with a big terrace or a big balcony. Lush landscaping between units ensures privacy. Seems perfect for families. It definitely feels like you’re in the jungle. Nature is close-in. Expect a bounty of bird calls and choruses of insects (they start early!).

There are limited services available here, so no restaurant or sundry shop. It’s a half-mile walk along a busy, narrow street to the 7-Eleven for basic provisions. There are a couple small markets nearby if you want to cook, and there are several good restaurants at neighboring resorts (we liked Mimosa).

location - there’s a beach just a couple of minutes walking and the place is quite tranquil and peaceful. 7 eleven mart and cafes serving thai cuisine are near there

Paradise needs some small improvements

The communication of the contact lady perfect English, Russian, extremely helpful and kind. The house (the biggest) is nice, modern and quite clean, the resort is close to the beach

no shade on the windows so sleeping, relaxing is a bit challenging, birds are tweeting at 6:40 every day which wake you up every single day with the sunshine very early. With a baby the stairs are dangerous since no closed handle on them so a small child can fall easily. The owner washes dishes at 5-6:00 AM every day, vok :) etc. which also wakes you up. Otherwise this is a paradise like resort, we liked it a lot.

I will not return

It has promise and was once very nice. The dogs are friendly and curious.

It’s a bit run down and the wifi is not setup properly. I did not have wifi at all inside the bungalow. Neighbors use the cell phones because wifi does not work.
