The location is great with a nice view of Onset Bay. The inn is right on the road across from the bay. Traffic can get busy and a little noisy and parking is very limited. Check in was easy and the staff was great. Room was clean and large. close to places to grab a bite to eat.

Parking was over-subscribed.

Nice place - old - quaint - room has been partially renovated (not top notch but adequate) - ***IMPORTANT NOTE - AC UNIT NEEDS CLEANING - BLOWING MOLDY SMELL - NOTICED BLACK SPOTS INSIDE OF LOUVERS- TURNED OFF AND OPENED DOORS AND USED FANS ALL NIGHT - MOLDY SMELL DISPERSED AND HAD A GOOD NIGHT- SHOULD CLEAN IT BEFORE SOMEONE GETS LEGIONNAIRES DISEASE **** Other than that not a bad stay - great spot on the bay - Person on desk needs some customer service training (not very friendly)

Inn in serious need of a renovation or total demolition

Nice large, cool and clean space near the beach. Glad I have first floor. Inn attendant very nice and helpful. Courtesy coffee in the office. Would stay here again.

parking was difficult, we were only left 1 set of towels for a party of 2, after we unpacked the circuit breaker blew and we were moved to another, wall unit air conditioner extremely noisy and kept us awake all night long.
Can tell there is work being done to improve the property.

Only given two towels for a three night stay. Never come to clean room or replace towels. Run down. Not worth the price paid for room. No dressers or cabinets to unpack clothes.

Only one of two people staying there. Had no coffee maker. Other than that, fairly clean and in an ideal location.

It was a great stay. Very quiet, very quaint, good view of the bay. Cute town to walk around. You can tell the room has been painted recently, bathroom remodeled. It is decorated with charm. It is NOT modern, which we loved. It is a very well taken care of Victorian house. Owner was super friendly, and very accommodating. I accidentally left my iPad under the pillow, and he shipped it to my home! Overall- superior stay in a charming little town.

The view in front of Inn was stunning. It was only me and maybe one other person staying there. I was alone so felt a little creepy but quaint town and the Inn is walkable to the town and right across from the water and that view is amazing.

The condo type suites , with beach directly across the street with walk path, bench to sit, peaceful. The Recsptionist , Shawn was amazing, accomadating, resourceful. The Owner is delightful, rooms are very clean, with the most comfy beds ive slept in from a hotel standpoint. Great food , views of ocean boats all in walking distance from the Inn on Onsett. Wonderful!

Very good experience we had an issue with our room due to how the capacity was on Expedia, they went above and beyond to make early reservation available for us

The Inn itself is charming although it is quite old. I will say the man who checked us in initially was late to the front desk and seemed disoriented! The room itself was clean although we did notice it needed some additional vacuuming and repairs / upkeep. Quiet area. Was def nice to be right across from the beach.

Nice sized room and great view of the water. On a busy road so a bit noisy. Outdoor sitting area very close to room so could hear revelry till v late one night. Rain prevented it the other two nights. Clean and tidy room.

This place is in a great location. The front porch provided a wonderful view of the bay and a very easy walk to the beach. The town is quaint and people were friendly. The Inn is old, and not kept up very well. We enjoyed our stay and were comfortable enough. The street it’s on is a main road so it can be a bit noisy. I might stay there again for a couple nights but no longer.

Pros: Awesome location, restaurants in walking distance and beach so close I got to bathe and jog on an empty beach in the morning. Bed was so comfy and I liked the mounted TV with swivel. CCTV cameras for safety and a cute little hangout area with a grill.
Cons: The room was hot. Even though I left the AC on for a couple hours but it did not get cool until I turned on the ceiling fan. The AC filter was disgustingly dirty(which could attribute to why the room was not cooling) and there was no house keeping(Dont know if this is a con to me personally since I like to keep my own stuff tidy, but for others this could be a deal breaker.) and based on the location of my room there was a window that has no shade installed that lets in annoying natural sunlight that will wake you up from a deep sleep in the early mornings. Plus the location of the shade on the window in the bathroom did not provide the cover of all areas of the bathroom and this is next to the front door so I had to kind of jimmy a towel over the shade to cover(207).
Overall a good place to stay at to explore Onset. The beach was across the street, my room had an ocean side view and it was street side but I hardly heard noise. Even though there were Cons I think if the facility focuses on fixing those things for me personally it would be kind of perfect for a visit and for others wanting to visit a town I consider as a quaint oasis of sea breeze .

Beautiful old Inn. We got an upgraded room. Facing the beach was great. Only big problem is that I just had knee replacement surgery a month ago. Our room was on the second floor with a narrow, rickety big flight of stairs. That was tough on me. Kevin, the manager, was very helpful. The a/c was nice and cold. Bed was fine. Shower was great. Had a small fridge and microwave.
Another problem was the parking. We came home two of our three night stay, about 10pm and had to park on the corner of the road. Having a rental car we were nervous about the car being hit.

The mice dropping on the floor and on end table. Dirt and dust under furniture. Air conditioner was not working properly.. The owner or maintenance personnel stated he would give us a refund and we left.

I hadn’t been to the Inn at Onset bay in 3 years. There is a new owner who has done so many upgrades that are amazing!
Management was very attentive to our needs and allowed us to upgrade for our last 2 nights.
Everyone including guests were so nice.
You don’t need to drive anywhere! Great restaurants to left and right of property. Beach is literally across the street and beautiful. Watching sunrises and sunsets, all different boats .
Was the most relaxing vacation I have had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back!
The only negative I have to say is don’t trust the room you pick with Expedia . Be sure to call the Inn at onset to confirm which room you picked. Or just call the Inn for booking! The May have better prices for sure!
We picked first floor but we’re booked on 2nd floor through Expedia.
Thankfully the amazing staff were able to put us on first floor.

Really loved the view. The bay is a 30 second walk across the street. There was food still in the fridge from the last guest and used keurig pod in a cup on the desk. Otherwise, the room was clean. We should have locked the door, but got a knock on the door at midnight while we were sleeping, and an immediate entry from what we think was the innkeeper.
