It was a lovely hotel in a great location

It was a charming local hotel right next to Manger Square. The owners are welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the bigger room with the kitchen, which was very nice for our 6-night stay.

Great memories from our Bethlehem stay

A wonderful discovery right next to Manger square, a delightful house on different levels, with antiques and plants in abundant supply. The warm local welcome ,hospitality from Jack and his wife , plus the homecooking made the bread house an ideal place to stay. Bethlehem is definitely worth spending z night or two in.

Exceptional

The hosts were incredibly nice and they made us feel at home. It was a very authentic experience. The location is central (keep it in mind if you are a light sleeper as there might be some noises from the main street). Overall, it was great and we'll definitely come back if we have the chance to visit Bethlehem again!

A peaceful break in Bethlehem

Definitely the location ! it is situated at only few hundred meters of the Nativity Church and the main place where you can sit and enjoy coffee and meal. Also for me the most important, the hospitality of the owners. Jacques and Nahida are really welcoming and caring. We felt so good that we extended our stay by one additional night.

Warm, comfortable stay with a local family in the Heart of Bethlehem!

I'm so grateful for my experience at Bread House. I'm a solo female traveler and did have some safety concerns, but the family at the Bread House looked after me like their daughter. I felt incredibly welcomed and part of the family. Breakfast was plentiful and they even dressed me up in traditional Palestinian wear and we did a mini-photo shoot! An experience I will never forget!

I don't think I've ever been so genuinely welcome, and so well looked after- highly recommend!

Shared bathroom (not a private apartment)

Jack was very nice. The breakfast was great. The hotel was very lovely.

The room was described as “Entire Apartment” but it was actually just a small bedroom with shared bathroom- very misleading and expensive. The $90 price for a small bedroom is more expensive than Europe.

The perfect place for some days in Bethlehem

Nahida and Jack are fantastic hosts, very kind and helpful! Very clean and cosy rooms, beautiful patio and dining room. Excellent location in Bethlehem with Nativity Church just across the square.

Authentic Marvelous experience, but...

I booked it for my parents for a night, they told me they had amazing hospitality, and enjoyed authentic experience of the old Palestinian houses, furniture, decor and all amazing old details, every corner of the house tells you history

The owner was not aware of Booking deals and membership advantages, so instead of having breakfast included for free i had to pay 10$ as if had no genius pros, but in general, they had amazing experience over there

A lovely oasis in the centre of Bethlehem

It is the perfect place for exploring Bethlehem! The guesthouse is a small oasis in the centre of the city, just around the corner of the Nativity Church! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and treated us like family. The breakfast was delicious! The rooms are well equipped! We recommend this place 100% and we‘ll come again!

Wonderful experience - highly recommended

Me and my husband had a truly wonderful one night stay in Bethlehem at Bread House. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like family and taking care of our every need. Staying with them and sitting and chatting was a highlight of our round trip. The accommodation itself was perfect. The rooms are in a beautiful historic building in a very central place of Bethlehem, and it was kept immaculately clean. The rooms are very cute and comfortable and we had everything we needed. We stayed in the suite on the top floor with an incredible view. The food was also wonderful - they prepared snacks and tea for us in the evenings, and delicious breakfasts in the mornings. I can’t recommend this property enough for a very warm and authentic experience in Bethlehem.
