Great house with lovely views. Local service team helpful.
The house was situated right on the beach with an actual beach area (several houses were right on the water). Amazing views of the water all around. The house was a modern design and well laid out with plentiful amenities, chairs, coffee maker, beach towels, etc. There were two electric drink coolers which kept drinks cool without going into the fridge (very convenient to have a place to keep cold cans and bottles). Beds were clean, showers were great. Since the ice maker wasn't working, the local team brought us a cooler with a couple of bags of ice...very friendly and we appreciated it very much.
There is not a functioning ice maker. The light through the windows on the first floor was a bit much at times without shades. There was a horrible fish smell in the fridge when we arrived. Also, when we arrived, our door handle was broken and the pool was not clean (no chlorine). We requested assistance from Vacasa (corporate) but they were not helpful. I told them about my concerns and their response was "OK, is there anything I can assist you with?" I replied that we needed the door fixed. That is when they offered to start a service ticket. Although they kept saying, ok, is there anything I can help you with, they rarely DID anything to assist in resolving the problems. It took a day before the local team came to address the only security door, but we had already repaired it with tools from a friend we met in another house. The local team was very helpful and we liked the house very much.
