The location was perfect and private. Beautiful views from our secluded garden (which was perfect for our dog) and the hosts were simply lovely people who checked us in well and said goodbye on departure. We were provided with organic dog treats, fresh milk in our fridge, extra pillows; the bed was incredibly comfortable.
We loved everything - we wished we could’ve stayed longer and would definitely book the property again.

This is a rare find it's in a beautiful location surrounded by countryside but only ten minutes off the main road. Lovely host on hand if needed, but total privacy if you want it. The Old Pottery is so comfortable and has everything you need for a totally relaxing break.

This lovely little place was even better than it looked on the photographs and we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. It was a very peaceful spot and the cottage was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Great bed and quiet nights meant we slept well and the cottage was a very pleasant place to relax after the day’s exploring. It felt very welcoming to arrive to fresh sourdough bread and some local beer in the fridge. We also really appreciated that there were some basics like salt and pepper!
Next time I would bring an eye mask because it was very light in the bedroom in the mornings, but I did go back to sleep each day so it wasn’t too big a problem.

The views and the peacefulness were outstanding. The bathroom was brilliant. We had home made bread, milk and local beer waiting for us on arrival.
Catherine was an excellent host. Attentive but also respected our privacy.
Nothing negative

Very comfortable, amazing views from the panoramic bedroom window, good kitchen and a very playful dog.
The access roads are small but typical of rural Devon

Amazing place. Lovely setting. The flat is fantastic: great decor and beautifully finished. Loved the huge (two-person) bath and the modern kitchen.
Can't fault this place.

The property was gorgeous, super clean and welcoming! It was spacious and the perfect size for a couple and my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were lovely and the location was brilliant as you are a short drive away from the main roads that take you all over Dartmoor. 10/10 and we’ll definitely be staying again!
