Check in was very inconvenient, it was not communicated there was a tiny check in window of two hours. The office was closed, gate security had to help us find someone as no one answered the only phone number posted. It took an hour of stressful waiting before a very young worker showed up. He refused to provide his name but I wish to thank him for coming back in.
New check in policies should be in place in future.

Cute place. Would be great in summer. Second bedroom was suppose to be two single beds but ended up being a double bed instead (foam mattress vs a real mattress) so was a but uncomfortable for two adults. Clean and cute place though.
We had small ants in the kitchen but I think it is that time of year, not a reflection of the cleanliness. Staff were attentive to bring ant traps quickly

The personal are very kind and wheeling to help.
The resort doesn’t supply lining and towels even though Booking.com site doesn’t specify it! The site personal partially provided us with it upon our arrival in late hour at night. We had to buy the rest ourselves.
No one to answer at night when help is needed. Our toilet was plugged with no one to answer the phone or text massages vis Booking.com chat with the resort. We ended up with plugged toilet until 9am! In addition, the propane tank got finished in the middle of the night kept us freezing. The spare tank was empty to the surprise of the resort manager.

The staff is friendly and helpful
The location and ease of access was perfect
lots to do just a short distance away
lots of walking trails
When we contacted the office they responded quickly but could only fix one of the issues
The staff was able to fix a third issue the following day after we had left
Also all the pools are outside and were closed (time of year) but it appeared there maybe some interesting activities onsite
There were no blankets in the unit - even though we were told we needed to bring sheets and towels but blankets would be supplied
The furnace was not properly setup to run so we had no blankets and no heat during the cold evening - so we shivered a bit through the need and during the morning - we arrived back to the unit after the front office had closed
Make sure you bring your own condiments as there are non supplied

It was nice for our group to have our own space, a deck and a fire pit. The staff at Vine Ridge were very helpful to help mitigate the shortcomings of the unit itself!
The information received about what to bring (sheets/pillowcases) was incomplete. There was no available bedding, including no pillows or blankets provided. There was also no hot water in the unit.

Cottage was clean and had most everything we needed. Location was excellent, grounds were tidy and lots of amenities.
Beds were very uncomfortable
