It was ok,and you can tell it's still a work in progress
Maybe visit again in a couple of years and then rate it properly
Back door didn't open properly
Everything else was ok

Loved the space and location.
There wasn’t any hand soap. Maybe nice to have shampoo and a few basics on offer.

The house is clean and very spacious with comfortable beds, seating and good kitchen facilities, all in all we enjoyed our stay.
The bathroom could do with more storage space, there is only one little cabinet , not enough for two of us.
The snib on the back door is very stiff, being high up I found it difficult to open though my partner managed it

Basically clean
Proximity to the sea
Obviously a DIY renovation that was very rough and ready.
Located on a noisy untidy street. Noise from traffic, on a bus route and used by lots of other traffic. Also noise throughout night from neighbours.
Cupboard off dining room dirty and unpleasant.
Bathroom lock arrangement meant you could see people sitting on the toilet.
Uninviting entrance with weeds and litter.

Lovely comfortable house, very close to beach and town. House had everything we needed and great for travelling with a two year old. Had a paved back garden which you got the opportunity to enjoy. Highly recommended.
No but maybe some tea towels.

everything you need for a short stay
the decoration was clean and freshly done, however you could tell that all the work was done by self and not a professional. the house was next to another house that is being renovated with a toilet in the yard. some of the surrounding houses are also in need of TLC.

I guess this was a 'get what you pay for' as the price per person was low. Host was lovely, very accomodating and communicated well. Whilst the weather was dreadful, the heating in the house was very effective meaning it was at least a warm place to come back to. Bedding was clean and freshly changed and towels provided.
Our concerns may be that we as a group had too high standards for what we paid but I feel others booking should be prepared for the fact that the accomodation matches the price charged rather than being a bargain.
Well aware that we didn't pay for a 5 star hotel but:
- house is newly decorated but the standard of painting was dreadful with rough plaster walls covered with paint and the floorboards throughout have simply had the carpets pulled up and covered in grey paint.
- house wasn't dirty generally but, probably due to the size of the house, wasn't clean underneath things, in corners and in the fridge, toaster etc. Went to use the toasty machine which was covered in mould which I presume was missed by the cleaner. House had been quick cleaned rather than thoroughly cleaned.
- furnishings cheap which I guess is to be expected - beds squeaky and wobbly but not uncomfortable.
- 'cupboard of doom' in the corner of the dining area full of rubbish and a bucket of old water left standing plus a very dodgy looking hole in the wall - why not just put a lock on it so it wasn't accessible?
- front door not a great welcome with dirt splattered down door and door frame.
- the street the house is in is not exactly inviting. Many houses, including next door, with rubbish including fridges and toilets in the garden. Houses scruffy and lots of rubbish and dog dirt in the street. It was close enough to the sea front to walk and we did early one morning and had a lovely breakfast but I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable walking around the area, especially at night.

The house was really easy to find, and not too far from Morecambe Town centre. The house-warming lovely and clean and exceeded what we needed for a 2 night stay, and I've already messaged the owner, who was very polite and replied to my messages promptly, that we'd like to stay again if we come back to Morecambe next November!!
Nothing!! The house was pretty much perfect for what we needed!!

I liked the fact it was such an easy process & the owner was on hand if needed. Not needed but peice of mind.
The only thing l would change is a lock on the cellar door & provide an iron & ironing board. Other than that, fantastic accommodation. Thank you & we would definitely come back.

The location is great, only a few minutes' walk from the seafront and with a handy convenience store just down the road. We found the house comfortable and spacious, like a home from home. The kitchen is well equipped and the tea, coffee and condiments provided were much appreciated. We were able to park right opposite the house too, which was a real bonus.
Only a very minor thing - there was only one bin in the house (in the kitchen). Another upstairs, perhaps in the bathroom, would be useful.

the property was lovely and clean. decorated to a high standard and very comfortable.
we had a 2 year old us who is into everything. There was a cellar but the door didn’t close to it and the gate at the top didn’t lock. I think this is a health and safety issue and needs to be fixed.

Newly renovated detached house/appartment, functional and had everything we needed. 10-15 mins on foot from Morecambe train station and center, shops, about 30-40 mins on foot by the seaside promenada to St. Patric's chappel in Heysham. Very clean, the host comunicated and replied very quickly
The materases in beds were very uncomfortable. The appartment located on 3 floors, a lot of stairs, but that wasn't an issue for us
4.5
The location is great for access to the promenade. Great for amenities aswell. Parking is good. The accommodation is good for the price and the welcome pack is a nice bonus.
The entertainment system is difficult to operate and sounds tinny. Didn't like looking at next doors discarded toilet out of the window.
