Accomadation was basic but had everything I needed and wi fi was good.
En-suite needs a shower mat as I was only given 1 towel. When getting out of the shower I had to use my only towel on a tiled surface.

Very affordable and comfortable
Wifi was a little flakey

Location was great. Sofa bed was comfy. Linen was clean.
We requested two cot beds and were told they would be available. On arrival we were told there were none available.. so our babies had to sleep on the floor. No extra bedding was provided.

very convenient for gatwick airport. We were running late due to road issues and the guy who answered the phone was really brilliant in helping us make sure we could get into the property. WhatsApp'd us the details, then phoned back to make sure we got the information. Room was very comfortable, with tea/coffee etc.
The only thing I could say is that the bed was very soft, but I realise that this is a personal preference.

Comfortable bed. Away from main road and traffic.
It was too hot. I turned radiators down and kept window open but still felt too hot for me.

The lodge was an absoloutele let down the rooms were dirty the carpets were filthy one bed had two wheels missing so you'd be sleeping on a tilted bed and the draught is absolutely unbelievable the place is old and worn down the staff choose who to speak nice too and do not know how to conduct themselves towards customer I was spoken too harshly all in all a very bad place would not go here again but there is one thing which made my stay a bit better was the fact they employed such a good person like mobeen who did all his best to make me feel comfortable and welcomed as for the other staff they need to be trained again and the whole lodge needs to be updated cleaned and revamped

The nice welcoming at the reception, the cleanliness and the furnitures + facilities in the room.
It's the type of hotel where you would enjoy a nice English breakfast. Considering also the fact that there are no shops around.

I liked the location as it was close to my work, Really loved the room,So comfortable. Also I liked the building because it was old with carracter.
Nothing at all, One of the best accommodation in Crawley.
3.5
The room was clean and tidy
The shower head was broken so I had to shower with one hand on the shower head. No great hardship.
3.5
Location to attend football match.
Arranged to drop off luggage early but no one around to sort anything out.had to leave it in car.

The lodge was a great location for Gatwick Airport. Reliable taxi service from the front door at 4am!
I had a single room which was clean and fresh smelling. Clean laundry on bed and towels in the room.
Tea making facility and bottled water.
The bed was very comfy.
There was a nice compact en suite with shower and toilet with complimentary toiletries. Everything looked well cleaned both in the bathroom and bedroom.
Staff friendly and accommodating. Free WiFi and a smart TV
Everything that I needed prior to an early flight.
The lodge is down a dark street and there's isn't a shop within walking distance.
This is more of a location dislike, not a dislike of the lodge itself

The gentleman at reception was extremely helpful and ensured our stay was a pleasant one
3.5
Communication was good with the receptionist.
Visible dust was on the funiture.
Shower area is very very small, as soon as you start showering the water splash outside wet up the floor. Plus because the shower area is so small the shower curtain sticks to your body while you shower.
3.5
The unique and somewhat attractive building exterior.
The hotel is located in the middle of a housing estate? and rather hard to find without a sat nav.
The receptionist left us in reception for 5 minutes to seemingly go and spray a full can of deodorant (or something similar) all around the hallway and our room... making breathing very difficult!! - (To be clear, once this floral stink evaporated, there was no putrid smell, so unsure why this action was taken?)
The bed was unbelievable and not in a good way. A mismatched size bed frame bed with two single mattresses, topped with a double mattress topper sheet to hold everything together. The bounciest bed we have ever (tried) to sleep on.
The place and room suited a purpose of somewhere to lay our heads after a party.. but if you're thinking you may have found a hidden gem due to the unique and somewhat attractive building exterior, in our opinion, just think again...
