Friendly staff, good environment and facilities, clean overall, camel ride - all good.
No one cleaned up the women washroom/shower area the night we arrived to the time we left. The other group of young females made a mess all around with towels, garbage, empty bottles and hairbands all over the counters.
The sitting area inside the hut is super dusty....is it supposed to be like that?

We wanted a desert, Bedouin camp experience
Nothing

The place was beautiful and the room was really nice. We loved the hammocks and set up outside the room as well. We enjoyed the extra activities after dinner like the scorpion hunt and the camp fire that Tal set up for our kids with marshmallows--we felt very spoiled! The food was delicious and of course the camel/donkey rides were fun for the family.
All was overall great. It was a bit expensive for one night, but the cost did include the food and donkey/camel rides which was nice. Our kids do not eat much so paying per person is what added up for our family. We had a great time though and made memories for a lifetime!

The sit down group talk with the Bedouin woman was very interesting. Also enjoyed the walk looking for scorpions.

The food was exceptional, lots of variety and good quality - we were very impressed. The grounds are beautiful. The activities were excellent (learning about bedouin culture, scorpion tour, bonfire).
The communication at check-in and check-out could have been improved, there were multiple activities but none seemed to ever be communicated properly to us despite our asking, things needed to be clarified multiple times. Would be best to communicate the scheduled activities up front and to give accurate information so that guests can plan accordingly and not miss them (as they were all high quality!)

An oasis in the desert, really close to the Dead Sea so perfect for a night stop over. The rooms were clean & comfortable. we loved the night walk into the desert to look for scorpions as well as the camel rides in the morning.

The kids (and us adults!) adored the camel rides, and an extra bonus was having dinner in the authentic Bedouin style. Really clean, really calm, the many peacocks walking around the property and the general ground-keeping were amazing.
This was our 2nd time visiting this place and we will definitely come again!
A little pricy :-(

Kfar Hanokdim provided an unusual opportunity of a presentation of the Bedouin coffee hospitality by an actual Bedouin as well as an environment as close as possible to visit a true desert oasis. An added attraction was seeing Masada from the western side. The friends who were with us for our stay also took their first ride on a camel, This camel ride offered a short trek of perhaps twenty minutes as opposed to the normal "camel ride experience."
It seems that Kfar Hanokdim is equipped better for groups and not so much for couples. The staff did not coordinate with us well as expected for scheduled dinners and other activities.

Piece of hair in the bathroom on the wall.

we were not given the room pictured. it was much smaller and very basic. communication was not clear as to what activities were included and when to enter where. food was not as good as we’d hoped. all around, it just felt very overpriced

This was a truly excellent desert experience, and we were taken on cool activities throughout, from the camel tour (which we knew about and which the kids loooved) to a nightly scorpion hunt (which we did not expect) and an inspirational meeting with a Bedouin lady who told us about her life. In the evening, one of the monitors (Tal) really took the initiative and brought us firewood and marshmallows and built a campfire for us, at no additional cost, just because he overheard my daughter inquire about one.
The place was spotless and the room was clean and comfy. Really fantastic experience - can't wait to return!
We would have liked to have a traditional Bedouin dinner on the floor like some of the school kids that were also there... Rather than as fancy tourists sitting at nicely-set tables with tablecloths ;-)

No internet, not even 4g, No TV (nice but not for anyone...)
