Gut, mit Luft nach oben

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und gut gepflegt. Das Personal sehr nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Rum Shed ist aus unserer Sicht das beste Restaurant. Das Stars (auch Frühstück-Restaurant) hat eine sehr grosse Karte und die Speisen sind alle gut bis sehr gut.

Die Sauberkeit im Hotelzimmer hat, für 5*, noch Luft nach oben. z.B. war der Badezimmer Spiegel während des ganzen Aufenthalt dreckig. Der Boden war nie ganz sauber. Die Fugen im Badezimmer sind allesamt unbedingt zu erneuern. Im Fitnessstudio muss das Crossfitgerät ersetzen werden. Im Stars war der Service teilweise sehr chaotisch.

schöner Resort. Essen zu teuer und für ein 5 Sterne Resort nicht ok.....

Personal incl. Resortmanager sehr freundlich. Besonders Mr. vishal ist sehr professionell. Resort im Prinzip super .

Essen extrem teuer und teilweise nicht besonders gut : Eine kleine Portion Sushi saschimi lachs ( 80 gramm ) über 30 Euro !!! Romantischer Grillabend am Strand....kann man vom Essen her vergessen. Allgemein sind das Essen und die Getränke viel zu teuer ...bei einer eher dürftigen Leistung....schade Auch der angebotene Transfer mit dem Hotelauto zum Flughafen ist mit 150 Euro überteuert.

Bien, el servicio no siempre igual en función de quien toca. Sobre todo en restaurante.

El servicio de playa, la preocupación de todos para que estemos bien. La playa, el hecho de tener a disposición kayak, Padel... Hubo varios problemas de habitaciones, de servicio... pero todo resuelto super bien. Reaccionan bien.

El restaurante muy malo a nivel de servicio. La comida buena, pero el personal entre lo que no entiende y lo que no hace. Incluso cuando hay un problema, les cuesta solucionarlo.

It was a very nice experience

The staff are friendly.. very good room service.. they respond fast.. I dont have to ask them to clean my room .. they did everyday.. I liked their night gesture with the chocolate and the bedtime story.. It has really one of the best employees and they know how to treat their guests nicely.. It’s highly recommended

Relax

We spent 10 days at Shanti Maurice as a family of six and have nothing but positive things to say. The Shanti Villa was not only spacious and well-equipped but also offered breathtaking views of the ocean. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we felt very comfortable from the start. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, anticipating our every need. We would especially like to highlight Amal, who took care of all our wishes with great attention and always discreetly in the background. His dedication truly made our stay unforgettable. We were also impressed by the excellent, welcoming service in the restaurant and the various dining venues. The breakfast was abundant and offered a good selection of fresh and high-quality dishes every day. The hotel facilities, especially our pool and the spa area, were simply stunning. We were able to relax wonderfully and leave the everyday behind. The beachfront location is ideal, the water crystal clear, and there are plenty of loungers for all guests. We particularly enjoyed the long walks along the expansive beach – it was just delightful to discover a new piece of paradise every day. A small suggestion for improvement would be the tennis courts, which could use a bit of renovation and care. We also recommend that future guests rent a car to better explore the beautiful island of Mauritius. There are so many hidden gems to discover on your own. Following a recommendation, we booked a 7-seater with Holiday Mauritius Car Us Ltd. Excellent service at an unbeatable price – the car was delivered to the hotel and picked up again according to our wishes at no extra cost. Again, we encountered extremely friendly and attentive staff. Overall, our 10 days at Shanti Maurice were an unforgettable vacation, and we would not hesitate to recommend the hotel. We are already looking forward to our next visit!"

A perfect resort for a perfect getaway

Honestly, the resort was beyond our expectations! Everything was perfect, food was delicious with international varieties, rooms were so clean and spacious, services were great, staff were so helpful and friendly! Would definitely visit again next time

Good for relaxing

That guy working there his name is Amal , gentleman, funny and respectful .. Also the view and the weather so nice , the private villa and the pool was amazing .. they gave us a hat and a beach bag as a gift , the arabic chef “farah” is so nice his food is delectable

- No special program or any event for the honeymoon - the breakfast choices was limited - the food generally is not as expected - the price is not appropriate for the amount the place - I tried to book a couple message twice but it was full or available in early morning

Definitely coming back!

Our stay was spectacular. Villa was spacious. Bed and pillows were so comfy! Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodated all of our needs. Big shout out to Amal our butler who has been so helpful and kind!

Beach was not as expected (couldn’t swim due to the big rocks).

Perfect for relaxation

One of the best resorts in Mauritius that has great value for the money. You get an excellent, high-quality service, which is comparable to other resorts with higher prices. The hospitality here is something very distinguished. Everyone meets you with a true smile. It was our 10th anniversary, so they surprised us with a cake on dinner. It's well designed resort. There are kids club, spa, tennis courts, and huge geeen gardens. The swimming pools are nice with panoramic views on the ocean. There are many restaurants, among them I would recommend the Rum Shed restaurant. The room is very spacious and sparkling clean. The furniture is in perfect condition. There is an outdoor private shower. Everyday, they refill the water, juice, and chocolate milk for free. They take care of every single detail, they surprised us with a cake as it was our 10th anniversary. Even there are kids' toiletries in the room. There are free sports activities. The resort is located on the south, around 1 hr driving to Casela Park and almost 40 min driving to Chamarel waterfall. The airport is almost 45 min driving. It is not a busy resort if you are interested in active resorts and bars. On the other hand, it is very quiet and calm with peace of mind.

A few points to be taken into consideration: 1. The AC is not working well. The room temperature never goes below 22C even if you set the control on 20. According to maintenance, this is the maximum. Unfortunately, I was not able to get good sleep in a room with 22 degrees. 2. I was a member of the Shanti club, which includes beverages for free till 21:30. I came exactly at 21:31 the guy refused to accept my order and he said rudely: I have to follow my hotel policy !!! Seriously! I was not expecting such an answer , as I'm in a resort for vacation, not in the airport for flight or clinic for a doctor appointment 😂 3. The bed is really below the standard of such a hotel. It's not comfortable, and actually, it's rather 2 mattresses put together 4. The swimming pool is not heated. Yet there is a hot jacuzzi.

exceptional locationn in the south

We highly enjoyed the friendly people at the resort, the restaurant location for breakfast and dinner - and of course the Rum Shed. Every one was highly committed to make our stay exceptional.

Everything is so far from the resort. Try to book something ib the North. Food in general was below average and no nearby restaurants to order. Breakfast was the same every day answay below average for what i paid for. Again the location is so bad that 90% of things is at least 1 hour far.

amazing resort, the most calming place ever

The resort is beautifully and has such calm energy that allows you to go into total relaxation.

We were surprised at the check-in that there is a surcharge for 2nd person, especially after we paid $800 per night already.

There was a wild dog coming to our villa and drinking from our private swimming pool, and the hotel management was not so responsive!!

Wonderful stay

Friendly attentive staff welcomed by personal butler taking care of all needs during the stay incl. reservations at restaurants, also seen us goodbye at time of checkout. Our villa had a private pool it was an upgrade to what we've booked (thank you for that)., villa is spacious has all what would make our stay infront of a beatiful wavy beach just peacful and joyable. Food is good , breakfast buffet is delicious with lots of varaietes to choose from incl. Fresh fruits and juices.all Food is Halal which is a plus point. probably one of the best resorts In Mauritius wouLd vIsIt agaIn.

Mosquitos despite insect sprays, not all beach areas are suitable for swimming due to rocks , the north side of the resort where our villa was located has rocky beach, the other side ( villas without private pool) has lovely sand beach, not a problem though, still can reach there by foot!

Bliss - Can't wait to return!

The Shanti Maurice exceeded all our expectations. The property is gorgeous and pristine. That said, it's the staff here who really make this place a dream vacay. We booked a suite and were upgraded to a private villa, which meant a butler was assigned to take care of our every need. Amal was amazing. Nothing was too much or too little for him to organise. He, like everyone else at the resort, made us feel like we were the only ones there. The kids club is next level, with a varied range of activities to suit the preferences of all the little people.. Even when there were no other kids there, the ladies at the kids club arranged and customised activities just for her. A special mention goes to Sheila and her gracious staff in the Stars restaurant and to Krishna (guest driver) who made every excursion and transfer a pleasure, and Brice, the GM, who took genuine interest in connecting with guests. We can't wait to go back!

The dress code at the restaurant Rum shid It is forbidden to wear shorts in Rum restaurant. The floor is sand and dirt. Frankly, it is strange for a sea resort to have a dress code.

Superb

The Thi Food and French Bakeries were Amazing !! We stayed for 6 Nights and I regret nothing, everything was great and we enjoyed the Sea, the food, the Spa and activities.
