The beautiful location, the sunrises and the people helped make this stay wonderful. The food was quite good despite the challenging kitchen they cooked out of. It was quiet, relaxing and very enjoyable. Loved the fresh flower offerings that were put out daily.
The location, once we got there is great, but when we first arrived we wondered if we'd been scammed because there is nothing there...you have to walk along a path around a wall and past the ocean first, then there it is, as lovely as the pictures promised. Walking along to where I would scuba was a bit challenging because it's a rock beach not sand, but it's mostly a path, then I had to scramble over a weird awkward area, if I'd had better shoes it would have been fine. All in all, very little to complain about, it was lovely.

Excellent location with views over the sea and 20m from the beach. Beautiful spacious room with jacuzzi and outdoor shower. Very good food with reasonably priced drinks. We arranged for all our clothes to be laundered, excellent value and also had a couples massage. The village focuses on diving with a few other places to eat and a supermarket, but is otherwise quite limited. There are some lovely short walks available with amazing views of Agung. Highly recommended.

Great set up, great location for snorkeling and diving

All of the staff were lovely. The cottages were private and comfortable. The setting was fabulous: facing the sunrise, the sea and Mt Agung behind. There were beautiful gardens, cats, and the Liberty ship for diving. Snorkling was good just in front of the property. It was very quiet and private.
The entrance was bumpy and uninviting, but the resort itself was beautifully kept.

Very nice bungalows and friendly staff. Food is delicious and directly at the beach with access to a coral reef. To Amed it takes half an our by scooter. Toyabali is the perfect location to chill and relax

Location - a little tricky to find, but there are signs! Approach it from the west, not from the east as recommended by Google maps. Follow the signs & road that leads you down to the beach between walled properties, then take the access path that follows the beach! The resort has it's own house reef - you can just walk in at the beach and enjoy a beautiful snorkel experience. Be mindful that conditions vary from day to day - we loved going at low tide, late morning to early afternoon! You can easily snorkel above the USAT liberty, that is just down the beach - we highly recommend trying out SCUBA though! The resort can organize 'discover SCUBA' dives with the diving center next door, and it is absolutely worth it! They can also help with wetsuits and fins/masks/snorkels if you need any equipment. And if you're already certified, you will enjoy being able to go down further and explore the deeper parts of the wreck, or do a night dive! The food was great, we loved the seafood and vegetarian options, and breakfast was decent, too! Coffee was ok, if you're particular about your black gold you might want to bring your own. Facilities were great! The spa bath in the room is MASSIVE, our room had a beautiful open air shower experience - try it a night, under the full moon! We loved the sea view from our bed and terrace! The communal infinity pool has a perfect view of the Bali sea, and on clear days all the way over to Lombok, with mount Rinjani towering over the clouds on the horizon. The best part is that this is a small resort, I think we counted 5 villas - so there are never many other guests around, and the ones we met were very friendly anyways! It's a great spot to relax, and we liked it much better than Amed (which is only a 20 min scooter ride away anyways). Cleaner, clearer water, fewer tourists, and the resort has beautiful gardens and amazing staff. What more can you ask for!

The resort has been beautifully maintained throughout COVID. The rooms are clean and don't require any maintenance. Beautiful gardens throughout in a stunning location. The staff are amazing and always available when you need them and they cook lovely fresh Indonesian and western food as you request it. Ibu Made and her staff made us feel very at home in paradise :)

This resort definitely exceeded our expectations. The villas are very comfortable, spacious, and clean. We absolutely loved the concept of an open air bathroom! The food was great every time and the beautiful ocean view was unforgettable. The staff is amazing - very friendly, accommodating, helpful. They helped us arrange our scuba diving, as well as massages, and transportation to our next destination. They even gave as a cooking class and shared the secrets of Indonesian cuisine! Thank you to the team for making our stay so wonderful.
It might be a bit tricky to find the resort if you are here for the first time. Follow the instructions that they send to you in advance closely. The mattress was a bit too hard for our taste.

View is exceptional...
Car parking access is not exclusively owned within the property, it shares with attendants from a temple nearby..

We saw a lot of hotels on our 3 week tour, but that was absolutely the nicest !! We will definitely be back.
We felt like in paradise. We saw dolphins from the restaurant.
We should have had more vacation. ;-(
