It was pleasent and comfortable. They were nice and correct about our late check in.
It wasn't that clean. Trash was left from the previous guests. And there was dirt in the shower and dirty towel. But for one night stay it was ok.

The place is really cozy and nice, the owner is a friendly man, who was kindly waiting for us (late check in). The rooms were nice.
We had a fan (instead of an air con that was mentioned to be in a room), which wasn't helpful at all, as the weather was quite hot...

The guy-owner was a very nice guy and he seriously tried really hard to run a proper guesthouse, but unfortunately the rest of the staff was a bit lacking.
We did like the fact that our motorcycles could be parked within the property-gates, very much. This security did make us stay 3 days instead of less.
We didn't feel very welcome, since the wife-owner started straight away about money. By now we know that the owners had some troubles with payment from other guests, but it just didn't feel like a good start. The room was't proper cleaned, and even though this was maybe because the cleaning lady who was sick, certain parts weren't cleaned for a long time...for sure.
Also, keep in mind that all the extra facilities, like waterboiler, microwave, refrigerator and comfy chairs are all shared facilities, but maybe that's simply mis-read by us on booking.com.

We booked the room 3 weeks before our trip. As we booked the room we marked that we will come at night around 23:00-00.00. We were driving with car for 19 hours straight and we were hoping to finally get some rest so we could continue our trip next morning. We came to the hotel 22.45 and owner informed us that she gave our room to somebody else. She told us she wrote us 3 messages that day to make sure that we will come and after we did not reply she asumed that we will not come. I was the only person driving and I did not check my email since I did not want to use my mobile data abroad and did not want to waste my time, also I do not understand english so I would not be able to respond her anyway.
She wrote us around 14.00 and we were supposed to check in at around 23:00.
The owner aranged us another hotel. She told us hotel is 500 meters away and will be for the save price. The hotel was 2 kilometers away and we had to pay 30€ insted of 25€ and it was not hotel but a trashy hostel without private parking which is one of the main priority for us and had 6 single beds in the room instead of 1 double bed we booked at guest house Maja.
We would like to mention that we used guest house Maja few times before covid and we did not have any problems.
So all in all we are rate this experience really bad.

MAJA WAS VERY NICE OVER THE PHONE. She said that we booked a room with a shared bathroom and that she gave us one with a private bathroom for a cheaper price. For which I was grateful and she said she expected a 10. However, when I entered the room, I couldn't possibly give a 10. I also checked what I booked and I booked a room with a private bathroom.
MY BAD EXPERIENCE CAN'T FIT INTO ONE SMALL BOX

When I entered the room, it smelled strongly of cigars. When I entered the bathroom, it also smelled like cigars, there was ash on the faucet, there was also on the toilet seat.scale was everywhere. The shower was also dirty. The trash can was full of garbage.Next to the toilet bowl there was a bottle of Coca Cola and Ultra from the previous guests. There were also no towels. However, if the unpleasant scene with Maja's husband had not happened to me, I would not be writing anything here now, because Maja was really kind. And here's what happened.10 minutes after our arrival, someone knocked on our door.I got scared and told my boyfriend to open it. And we saw a gentleman outside, who didn't even introduce himself. He just said that we didn't leave the money where Maja told us and that we should give the money to him personally. My boyfriend said no problem, but I want you to give me a payment slip. To which his tone and facial expression changed.

HE FELT INSULTED . First of all, I could come tomorrow and knock on someone's room and ask the same question as that gentleman and take the money and leave. It was in our interest not to get into an unpleasant situation, and that's why we asked for a payment slip. In case Maja asks, we just show her the payment slip. As I said, the man got angry and started speaking to us in a very rude and humiliating tone... And he said how it often happens to them that people don't pay... And immediately he thought that maybe we were one of them.. .I was offended by that...I think it's very unprofessional and uncultured to say something like that to a guest...We constantly take rooms/apartments/hotels and until now we always gave money when returning the key. I've always given some kind of document, and not have someone come to my door... I'll repeat, unprofessional. Even if they told me to leave the money right away, I would have done it...But let's say there was a misunderstanding. In the end, we gave the money to the gentleman, but we didn't get a receipt. I immediately sent a message to Maya and said that we gave the money to a gentleman... After which we found out from her that it was her husband.
The insulation is also very bad, the bed creaks, there were crumbs on the floor, I even saw 2 ants. In the morning we were woken up by people shouting, doors banging, very loud walking....
I feel really bad giving low ratings, but after such an unpleasant situation with Maya's husband...I couldn't help myself…

Avoid this woman !!!
We booked the room a day before our arrival. We had to travel some 500 km on that day so we thought that we will get a nice place to stay that night
Some hours before our arrival the owner sent us a short phone message, that she doesn't have this room for us without giving any explanation!!!! She wrotek gratefully , that we can "cancel the reservation for free"
More ridiculous is the fact that we were obliged to give the credit card data in advance by the reservation, so that if we hadn't shown up there at our fault we would be credited with the whole sum of the stay.
We received the message at late afternoon/evening on the day of our supposed arrival . We had to hastily find something else, otherwise we would have to sleep at the street !!!
What a shame and ch e e ky owner !!!!
Be aware of this and DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

It was comfortable, had a good price/performance ratio and also a quiet neighbourhood. From there you can quickly access the city centre with your vehicle. Also, Maja is a very nice host, so all in all we were satisfied.

It was the worst hotel i have ever been to. The shared bathroom didn't get cleaned for the two days we stayed and was full of pee and dirt. The cooking area ( microwave, fridge) was filled with rotten bread and dont know what else it was. Everything felt really disgusting and i tried to not touch anything.. staff was also really rude.. Don't go there
