Our family chose this location due to the great proximity to the beach and local attractions. We especially liked the fact of having our own private pool to use throughout our trip. Our son and now daughter in law were celebrated their honeymoon during this vacation. Having the ocean right out your back door was amazing.

This house was so comfortable and clean! Our family had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and easy access to the stunning beach and surrounding amenities. We will definitely stay again.

we had a lovely stay at the Madeira Beach House. Perfect little house for our family vacation. we loved having our own pool (paradise) and having multiple gates/locks around the pool gave us a piece of mind since we were traveling with our young grandchildren. The house was clean upon arrival and was stocked with all the things we needed to get us started. Would most definitely recommend staying here!

I've never been the one to leave reviews for places that I stay at, but the experience my family and I had here was worth putting down for others to see. My family and I had to endure a faulty air conditioning system for a full week in Florida heat that was always 90 degrees and up. Upon arriving at the place, we immediately took notice to the thermostat showing 78 degrees. The first thing we did was put it down by 4 and never touched it for the whole trip. To our surprise, the thermostat would never change, and it actually went UP to 79 degrees. We called the NextHome Beach Time Realty (the company who overwatches operations and guest requests for this property) and they replied almost instantly on the first day. We had a technician get sent over the following day, and still nothing- the guy was not able to get anything fixed and we still had to endure an extremely hot household during Florida heat for a whole week. If it wasn't for the fans in every bedroom, I would've requested a refund and returned home. This is mainly a bigger complaint due to now having a 5 month old baby with us who now also had to deal with an air conditioning system not working during peak summer heat like this.
For the 40 years my family and I have been renting condominiums and beach houses every summer, it's always been a pleasant time. I hate having to write a bad review, but I would also hate for people outside of the state to come to this beach house and then have to suffer in the heat.

Kitchen could use some additional amenities but appliances are fairly new. Clean the coffeemaker (no pod coffee maker available) and turn the refrigerator door around. Pool, back porch, and location are great! (Clean up all the discarded beach and pool items, outdoor shower needs attention) 4 adult, 2 kids. We didn’t have to use the squeaky bed. The ones we did use slept well. AND, we would stay here again! Not enough ‘quirks’ to keep us away.

Good size, clean, perfect beach access, walking distance to John's Pass, pool was very nice. One thing we noticed that needed cleaned were the blinds in the kitchen and the little ledges on the cabinets. Overall very nice. We would stay again.

Great location. We could walk half a mile either direction for restaurants, shops, bars or just stay put and relax poolside or on the beach. One day we hired a mobile masseuse and had a massage on the covered deck. We look forward to a return visit.

It’s not fancy but the beach was amazing
Walked to dinner and shopping. Pool was great once we found the heater. Had a couple hiccups but management took care of it for us promptly

Two silly minor things, simple fixes
1- Outdoor shower not working
2- No outdoor lights made it difficult at night sitting out there.
I do realize yellow lights have to used to protect the turtles.

This house is a perfect location. The pool is a big advantage to this home. The house is in need of TLC. We arrived at the property at 3:55 p.m. with a car full of groceries. When we arrived the cleaning people were still there so we waited on the porch some of us in our cars with the cars running to keep the groceries cool. We were told they were delayed due to maintenance being there. They finally finished at 5 p.m. and we were able to get in. I called to discuss this with the property manager once while we were there and once after I returned home and I still haven't gotten a response from them. Like I said the house definitely needs some updates but overall it was satisfactory. I was also going to inform the property manager of the ant problem they have in the house but like I said no one called me back.

I had to book with them last minute because my rental home was absolutely dirty . They were supposed to help me find a place for the next three months and the management company completely dropped the ball had one house then rented it out because he never let me know anything. I think Ana did a very poor job with communication she blamed it on a toothache I was in the house for 10 days I needed a house as soon as I left that one and that did not happen. So if you’re the owner of this management company she lost you a bunch of money by not helping me at all and it was very unprofessional.

If you are looking for a luxury vacation rental, this is not it. But if you are looking for the perfect location with beachfront pool, you can't beat Madeira Beach House. We had some issues on arrival with rental not being ready. They did send the cleaners back within an hour of our arriving to complete the cleaning. However, the sheets were missed and we had to go the first night without. Despite repeated phone calls, we did not get a response to our issue until 1 pm the following day. The rental company was very apologetic for the lack of communication and follow up and did compensate us for our inconvenience and has assured a change in some of their procedures to prevent this from happening again. The house itself could use some touch up and updating. As other reviews have stated the beds are very creaky and in need of updating. We thought the mattresses were fine but it was just the actual bedframes and boxsprings that need updating. If you go in with those expectations, you will not be disappointed, as the location and the beachfront pool were exactly what we were looking for. Overall a good week at Madeira Beach House.

House was very disappointing , not at all what I expected for the price. Check in was later than expected which was really upsetting due to driving all night. House needs some new items ,grill legs was rusted off , stove only had two burners that worked right . The only thing this house has is location if you don’t mind staying in high priced home that needs a lot of work then this is your place.

Great experience with the exception of a few minor issues with appliances. Learned from a local that Jimmy Buffett actually lived in the beach house. A beach house with a pool on Madeira Beach is unheard of and the envy of many. We had several strangers actually knock on the door asking who they could call to rent the house. Great location. Walking distance to John's Pass and other bars and restaurants. Beaches active but not packed.

Location, location, location! Despite Hurricane Elsa rolling through one day, we had a fantastic time. The pool & the beach are a great combination, and it was a short walk for anything we needed or wanted to go. We'll be back!

What minor problems there where got handled promptly and, professionally. Can't beat this place for the price, we have been coming here for a few years now, would like to see a few more improvements but, there have been upgrades since last year. Looking forward to next year, we are already booked.
