1. Mark Austin was easy to communicate with and facilitated everything we needed before getting to the property. Recommendations, reminders for paperwork, and setting up the transportation to and from the airport with the resort. 2. Arrival was seamless. Make sure you do your Dominican E-Ticket for both arrival AND departure or you will be stuck trying to do it at the airport. 3. Per Mark, recommend bringing smaller bills ($1s and $5s) for tipping. It isn't required, but it does go a long way when needing something. 4. The villa comes with a golf cart you can pick up after check in (check in was easy easy). KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR THE DEPOSIT. If you lose the receipt, you lose your deposit. This happened to us because the cleaning lady accidentally threw it away with a stack of flyers. I had issue with this because you don't get a golf cart if you don't give a deposit, so common sense should prevail here for the resort, but it didn't. Very annoying. At the end of the day though, we should have secured the deposit receipt somewhere other than in a stack of flyers on the villa counter. 5. The layout of the resort takes some getting used to, but the map they give you at reception is good. The dimensions look big on the map, but they aren't in reality. Everything is easily accessible. 6. You have a concierge assigned to your room and they are a huge help. They help set up excursions, reservations for the restaurants, redirect you to the food and drink personnel (who will deliver to your room). 7. Your cleaner doubles as a chef for breakfast. The menu for breakfast has about 5 choices of different types (American, Dominican, Lite breakfast for example). They bring the food to your villa and will cook it. You can decline that whenver you want (as we did because we SCUBA'd two of the six days). 8. On the restaurants: the concierge will set up a reservation for you every day automatically unless you specify a certain restaurant. We loved that and took their recommendations. We didnt eat at the same type restaurant (Dominican, Tex-Mex, Seafood) while we were there. They mixed it very well. That said, the food wasn't great. It wasn't bad mind you, but not great. I am a foode though and a home chef, so maybe a little snobbish. You CAN send the food back for a little extra spice or whatever you want. 9. The villa was awesome. The pool was great and the beaches wonderful too. Hope this helps!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The food was very good at all the different restaurants, the person that took care of our villa was wonderful and the beaches are so beautiful. Mark Austin was so great in answering my questions in a very timely manner. We can't wait to go back! If I was going to mention anything negative, we had problems with the golf cart we rented. Had to turn ours in several times to get one that worked and it still was pretty bad. Service to the villa was rather slow at times but everything worked out in the end. Would highly recommend!!

Our stay was spectacular - an amazing resort with extremely friendly staff! This was our second trip to the resort and we plan to go back for more. Mark Austin was excellent to work with. He was very accommodating and made sure that we were pleased with our accommodations. I will definitely be booking with Mark again!

I cannot be more happy with the resort, grounds, villa and the people who worked with us to ensure a super vacation. I asked Marc many questions prior to arrival and he answered them all without any hesitation. I will be back next year for round number two.

Had a family vacation at Lifestyles in the DR and truly enjoyed all aspects of the resort. Great beaches, great food and the villa exceeded expectations. Staff was great and there were many activities for vacationers of all ages. The weekly outdoor dinner party and show was amazing with great food and superb entertainment which included audience participation. Thanks to Mark for recommendations and suggestions to make our vacation a special one.

Beautiful villa with well maintained gardens. I have never stayed anywhere like this in the past and probably will never want to stay anywhere else now since I am completely spoiled. I highly recommend Mark for your next travel arrangement, he was wonderful answering all my crazy questions.

This was our first All-All-inclusive experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it! From the airport pickup to the return, it went so smoothly. Mark was great! Answered all of our questions along the way. Our villa was gorgeous, we had everything we needed. The resort staff checked on us everyday to see if there was anything we needed. All of the staff actually were SO attentive!. We were really pampered. Breakfast made at our villa every morning was a real treat also. The restaurants and buffets were delicious. The shows every night were top notch. The resort is huge and we didn't see it all, I'm sure. As well as we didn't get to every restaurant. All the more reason to go again!

Spent time with family relaxing and celebrating the 4th like no other experienced. There are so many things to experience on this resort that I am sure we missed some. We will return for more needed R&R and for sure will spend more time for the next trip.

There are not enough good things to say about our family vacation, but I will tell you that every member of my family want's to return and that is no easy task considering the complexity of my family. We will return again and we will rent from Mark Austin. The resort knows Mark very well and we were very glad to rent from such a well respected member. The villa we stayed in V48 was at a very convenient location to the beach and we enjoyed our maid with her bright and cherry smile every day. The breakfast in the villa was good but a couple of days for variety we did chose to eat at the buffet.

Overall we had a great time at this resort. Pleasant, friendly staff took great care of us. It took a little time to find which we're the better restaurants and bars, but we finally had it figured out. We rented a 3 bedroom villa that was wonderful with a few exceptions. 1. Upon arrival, the pool was dirty and it didn't get cleaned properly until day 3 of our stay. 2. One of the toilets in the bedroom was so small, you have to be a contortionist to get in and close the door (seriously!). 3. It would be great if the 6 seat golf carts were available to all villas. 3 bedrooms, 6 people, 4 seat golf cart??? 5. Although VIP status, we were excluded from the best restaurant on the premises. I Still think this is a resort you can fall in love with. I would opt for slightly different accommodations next time.

My husband and I traveled to this resort in March 2011 (this is our 2nd time) with our 4 kids and we rented a 3 bedroom villa through Mark. The transaction was seamless from beginning to end. The VIP service we received from the resort made each and every member of my family feel like kings and queens, so much so that we all hated to come home. You cannot find a better vacation for the money anywhere in the Caribbean.
