The house was very comfortable and perfect for our family vacation. The provision of staples such as paper goods, laundry detergent, etc. was much appreciated, not to mention the amazing beach chairs. The house is in a great location. Anne, the owner, was very responsive to our needs during our stay. We would not hesitate to re-book this rental.

Overall ok location, comfortable home and well equipped! Newly renovated bathrooms were beautiful! What we noticed and concerned us the most was the cleanliness of the house overall! The windows look as though they
have not been cleaned for awhile, spiders and spider webs throughout, mold on back of bedroom pillows , worn towels, light over kitchen table covered in layers of dust! A deep clean would make this house “shine”! overall a good experience!

Great time with our forever friends to explore Martha's Vineyard. The place was great, centrally located for easy access to all the parts of the island, restaurants etc. We'll be back.

Very beautiful and picturesque. We felt right at home. Lovely backyard! Short walk to Morning Glory for fresh produce, pastries and delicious Quiche! Short distance to Grocery Store, apparel shopping and upscale eateries. Loved Atlantic Restaurant. Feel as if personally know the Owner. She was so attentive and concerned about our well being. Visiting friends were so impressed with our house. Would highly recommend. Close to all of the amenities, but away from the fray.

Probably the best place I’ve stayed in mv and I’ve been vacationing in mv for 12 summers

This is a great MV property and location. It is clean, spacious, quiet and conveniently located. The kitchen is very well equipped. The backyard is newly sodded and quite large. The newly finished basement is a great play area for children. And Morning Glory Farm is less than a 10 minute walk away. This was the 2nd summer we rented for a week.

This house was perfect for our family of six. It had everything we needed for preparing meals and the decor was lovely. We loved the ping pong table and extra space in the lower level. Anne was terrific answering many questions and was super helpful. I higly recommend this home for visiting the island.

Our family had a wonderful stay in Ann's home. It was very clean and comfortable with many extras. It is located in a wonderful, quiet private community in biking distance to downtown Edgartown and was also close to many beaches by car. Morning Glory Farms close by was a great place to enjoy great baked goods, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as morning coffee. Check-in was easy. The home had everything we needed for cooking, grilling, beach and outdoor games. The house layout allowed the family to be together to enjoy games, meals and also allowed separate areas. The bedding was very comfortable. and the upstairs very spacious. Loved the showers! The very spacious new rec room downstairs gave us many nights of games, ping pong while others enjoyed relaxing on the sofa area. Our dog loved to walk around the community. We can honestly say that this property is the best rent-by-owner property we have had the pleasure of staying. We would gladly stay there again if a return trip is in the cards. Thanks Anne for sharing your home with us,

She helped us secure a ferry when we had trouble doing so. Her home was very clean and well provisioned.

Wonderful off-season island time! Fabulous morning pastries and bread from Grey Barn and Rosewater. Brisk walks on deserted beaches, a totally different experience to the hustle and bustle of peak summer. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Island Gove/Edgartown. Anne was a wonderful and gracious host who was easy to communicate with and was beyond generous. The house was charming and equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We loved our time on the Vineyard and can’t wait to return to this charming cape cod home.

We were visiting Martha’s Vineyard from Australia for a wedding midway through a longer trip and this house was perfect for us. Very well appointed and equipped and very comfortable, pretty and quiet. Very comfortable beds and spaces we could spread out in and feel at home. Lovely big washing machine and dryer. We had a car but enjoyed being able to walk the short distance (5 mins) to Morning Glory Farm for bread and supplies and also walked into Edgartown (about 40 mins along the bike trail). The owner was quick to respond to queries. Highly recommend.

Our group of five found Anne’s Edgartown cottage to be a light, bright and airy island retreat that exceeded our expectations. The 3-bedroom cottage boasts tasteful decor, high-end spaces, vaulted ceilings and an ample backyard. We were pleasantly surprised by the numerous outdoor games, including corn hole and spikeball, not to mention the ping pong table, bikes, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach towels. We wanted for nothing! The kitchen and patio were equally well-appointed, allowing us to create farm-fresh feasts and lobster bakes. The beds were quite nice, the linens were of good quality, and the towels were white and fluffy. We found the neighborhood to be sweet, quiet and charming. You’d be hard-pressed to have anything but a delightful getaway here! Highly recommend.

My wife, dog and I loved the property. It’s within a 10 minute drive to south beach and downtown Edgartown, our favorite spots. The house was clean and had everything you need which makes packing easy. Will definitely come back again!

The property was even better than advertised. Clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is extremely well outfitted. We loved the short walk to Morning Glory Farm. It was great to be away from the congestion of Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, yet close enough to get there quickly.

Our host was great and was prompt to respond to our questions. Upon arriving we found the home to be tidy and with plenty of beds to accommodate our family. The twin beds upstairs (in one of the two bedrooms) can be converted to a full sized bed. The air conditioning was ample and the neighborhood was quiet for walks. The location is equidistant from two great beaches. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next summer!

Great location. The house was clean, updated and well stocked, relaxed with a book in the hammock, biked to beaches and Edgartown, barbecued on the patio. Family of five fit easily, we would go back.

This property was absolutely charming and just what we were hoping for. It is a few minutes drive to the shops in Edgartown and nestled alongside island farms. The owner has a wonderfully stocked kitchen with all of the typical appliances and amenities we have in our own home. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the home very clean. Outdoor amenities including two grills were clean and operational. First floor laundry room and two full bathrooms with one on each floor were a big plus as we prepared for and attended a family wedding at Pohogonot. I would love to stay here again!

This house was perfect for our group of five adults. We attended the Martha's Vineyard Film Festival and the location was great for that and for going about the island.
The house was comfortable--living room was great for sitting around and talking or reading. Kitchen had everything you would need.
Bathrooms are new and beautiful!
The weather turned warm so we were able to sit outside on the patio.
An added bonus was being able to walk to Morning Glory Farm. Local grown asparagus was available. What a treat!

The house is really lovely. Plenty of space, good sized yard and parking. Newly renovated bathrooms and freshly painted! Location in a quiet neighborhood. Anne’s home is well stocked with plenty of everything you need from linens to glasses. She was quick to respond to my messages both before and during our stay.
We were visiting on the off season. Perfect for us with hardly any people on the island. Enough restaurants and stores still open to entertain us. Highly recommended!

Property was extremely well provisioned and well located just 10 minutes to Edgartown where you will find the higher end shops and restaurants on the island. This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and we loved it. This 5 day test run will lead to a longer return. We managed to visit all we had intended with exception of the beaches which we will definitely take in the next trip.
2.5
We had a very wonderful time staying at Anne's picturesque and cozy cottage. It was incredibly well located in a beautiful area and so close to town and beaches and everywhere we wanted to go. Anne was a great host and a lovely and swift communicator and made sure that we were comfortable and happy at all times. The main living area, kitchen and backyard are all highlights. This is a truly great spot to come with kids and dogs for a low-key, game-filled and fun getaway.
2.5
We cannot say enough good things about this property AND its owner, Anne! The neighborhood is quiet and the house is comfortable, very clean, and extremely well stocked with games, beach gear, towels, bikes, even, a hammock, and a ping-pong table, in addition to a kitchen full of everything you need to cook (lots of dinnerware, stainless, pots & pans, two types of coffeemakers and filters. The outdoor patio with a firepit and lots of seating is where we spent each night after dinner. We loved walking through the path to awesome Morning Glory Farm for breads and fresh Everything. Anne even provides a map for that walk. The location is ideal, close to downtown Edgartown and about a 7-min. drive to gorgeous Katama/South Beach where the sunsets and moonrises are supreme.
For great dining, go into Oak Bluffs for Sweet Life...what a fantastic experience!
Bad Martha's Brewery is fun with tasty beer. We hope to return to this rental again! Thanks, Anne!!

Terrific house - loaded with all the essentials and loads of extras. Loads of towels, linens. Owner is terrific!! Very communicative- doesn’t miss a thing!!

Great sized house and yard with lots of privacy in a heavily-wooded neighborhood. Very close to Morning Glory Farm, a 10 min drive to South Beach, and large bedrooms. The house was very well stocked - there's a grill, ping pong table, bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, spike ball, and other games. The bathroom towels were especially white and fluffy - something you don't often see in vacation rentals and was a wonderful touch. I loved the outdoor shower after surf sessions. The main bedroom was a good size with a large walk in closet, and we appreciated that it was on the ground level. The two guest bedrooms were very spacious upstairs, as was their shared bathroom. The house is older but felt very homey. I appreciated the nice nonstick kitchenware, coffee grinder, and good knives in the kitchen, as well as a good assortment of serving platters.

Great property. Great owner.

Short walk to Morning Glory Farm. Short drive or bike ride to South Beach and downtown Edgartown.

We loved the house. It was just right for our group of 4 women. As Ms. Shusterman stated in the description, it was fully stocked. At booking time we were a bit concerned with the fact that there is no air conditioning in the living room but we were very comfortable and had no complaints about the temperature. The overall decor could probably use a bit of updating but it had everything necessary for a great vacation. We had a couple of beach days and were so happy to see beach chairs, towels and beach bags available for our use. If I get an opportunity to visit Martha's Vineyard again, I would definitely check on the availability of this property.

Anne, the owner was superlative! We loved our stay and would go back. The house was stocked with all we needed for cooking inside and out with BBQ grill. Beach chairs and towels , linens, playing outside with corn hole, fire pit , Hammock, etc. We had great fun on local biking paths and nearby beaches and Morning Glory Farm.

This property was perfect for my extended stay in Martha’s Vineyard. It comes stocked with all the cleaning supplies and cooking items you may need. The hammock is perfect!

We stayed for a week in Fall! We enjoyed the location. Easy to get to bike paths and get around. We had a sub tropical storm and the island shut down for 2 days! We were housebound and the home was cozy, VERY well stocked and had everything we needed. We brought many household cleaning items and towels but this home has everything you will need !

This was our fourth time visiting the island renting a house in this price range and this was our favorite so far. House was located in a quiet neighborhood a quick drive away to Edgartown and Oaks Bluff. This house is in a heavily wooded area which most of the island is unless you stay in the million dollar waterfront homes. Bedroom and full bathroom downstairs, 2 bedrooms and full bathroom upstairs was perfect for our family. Kitchen and living room were spacious. We didn't see any bugs in the house. Of course if the doors were left open some could come in. House could use some updating but for the price we had no complaints. We would stay here again.

We had such a great time staying at Anne’s cottage. I read a previous bad review and it was not at all my experience. There were no bugs on the walls and the place had everything we needed. Anne went out of her way to make us comfortable and gave us all sorts of great info and places to see on the Vineyard. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen had nice appliances and every possible utensil you would ever need. We played tennis on the property and they had bikes, ping pong table, all sorts of beach chairs and games. Location is a bit out of town but great for a little peace and quiet from the busy towns.BTW it is a short drive to Edgartown and a short walk through the woods to Morning Glory Farm that has great home made baked goods and all sorts of imported cheeses and meats. We walked there for hot muffins and coffee in the morning. I think some people forget they are renting someone’s home and not the Ritz Carlton!! I can’t say enough about how great Anne was helping us enjoy all the Island has to offer and you won’t find a better value for a rental property on Martha’s Vineyard! Will be going back next year.

I recently stayed in Anne's cottage with my husband and 2 teenage sons and absolutely loved it! Great location in Island Grove (Katama) right near Morning Glory Farm. Quick ride to downtown Edgartown and close to South Beach! The house had everything we needed- even a fire pit so we could enjoy s'mores! Loved having the A/C units in the bedrooms- that helped with the humid week. And it was nice not having to bring beach chairs, linens or towels! Very nice cottage and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

This property was perfect for our family with 2 small children. Walking distance to Morning Glory farm was a great plus and it was very close to Edgartown Center and the beaches in Katama. Nice quiet street with lots of privacy

The positive things about this cottage include: In general, the cottage is in good shape with ample space in its 3 bedrooms and main floor living area. A nice back yard setting with patio, rinse off shower, hammock and grill. A nice kitchen with a good size refrigerator. Easy walking distance to Morning Glory Farm. A very quiet and peaceful setting. Short drive to Edgartown and central location for several great beaches.
Some negative aspects include: the 2 bathrooms are in pretty bad need of updating but at least are spacious. If it's hot, the 3 window A/C units in the bedrooms struggle to keep the cottage comfortable, especially in the main living area, and roar at night when trying to sleep. Being in a heavily wooded area has pluses and minuses...it's very quiet but when it's hot, even if it's a windy day, you're not going to get much of a breeze here. The biggest negative for me was the bugs... I needed a shoe handy at all times for spiders and centipedes on the floors and walls...would always need to check bedroom before trying to sleep and would always have to kill several more. You expect some in a wooded setting, but it's a big issue.
