Welcome to our family vacation home in Venice Florida. This is one of our homes away from home and we enjoy sharing it with others. I make booking online easy, fast and secure. Our home is a 3 bedroom beach & pool home recently fully remodeled, located on a quiet street with few neighbors surrounded by palm tree groves. A double car garage and driveway for two or more cars when you have guests. Gunite swimming pool with spectacular LED colored light show for evening ambiance - choose your colors!
The private pool is located a large screened-in deck with perfect patio seating area and Weber gas grill for all those fun family pool party moments! Just like an outdoor living room with lighting and ceiling fans for that island breeze feel! Enter the pool via wide ease of entry steps with handrail. The swimming pool with its lovely blue tile sparkles in the morning sunlight and has a spa seating area! Wonderful for family fun or a romantic moonlight swim for two! The garden is partially fenced on either side but fully fenced to the rear. The pool deck doubles as a bar area with kitchen pass though, bar top and two stools - Cocktails anytime!
Indoors the tiled floors are pleasantly cool under foot, just the way a Mediterranean style home should be. The walls are a very pleasant warm linen cream with classic white trim. Lots of open space, uncluttered with Florida breeze high vaulted ceilings in living area. Blue leather living room comfortable seating to enjoy flat panel Smart television. All your favorite apps including login to Netflix. And yes, the house is WIFI ready! Add a selection of our board games and books for more memorable moments!
The three comfortable bedrooms are in a split floor plan layout which add to your privacy, laid out with classic Florida wicker furniture. The king bedroom overlooks the pool and has sliding door access for those who love private early morning dips. It also has it's own on suite bathroom as well as it's own walk-in closet. This bedroom has flat screen TV with Netflix access. The queen bedroom and double twin bedroom share a bathroom and are situated on the opposite side of the house from the king bedroom. Fresh bed linens are accompanied by a closet full of soft blue towels and a basket of colorful beach towels. There is a large washer and dryer to handle any of your laundry needs during your stay.
The fully appliances kitchen is equipped with everything you could need during your stay, including all your cocktail making items! Large fridge with freezer on the bottom, range, microwave and dishwasher. Plenty of storage space and food preparation surfaces. Bright, airy open plan kitchen for ease of entertaining or just everyday living!
Large fenced in private garden, close to three local beaches. Manasota Key beach 8 minute drive, Caspersen's Beach 15 min and Venice beach 15 mins. These are all really the same beach along the coast with different access point. All have free parking and bathrooms. If you are staying 30 days or more you can purchase a pass for $50 to the private South Venice Association sandy beach, wonderful bikes paths and local fantastic places for kayaking. Everything except food included, just bring swimsuit and flipflops! Close to village and restaurants in nice neighborhood! Well maintained by loving owner and very clean! The private beach is just 2 blocks away from our street, you can either walk or take one of the house bicycles the short distance to the ferry. Once you've bought the pass the short 5 minute boat ride awaits to take you across to one of the most beautiful natural beaches in Venice! Using the shark tooth finder, you can fill your pockets full of various size shark teeth to take back home to share with friends and family. Real artifacts, millions of years old and your personal memory treasure! Also at the house you will find beach chairs, umbrella and cooler to round out you beach pleasure - just bring your own flipflops!
Our home has air conditioning system to keep you cool even on the warmest day, as well as a heating system should you need it during the cooler months! We also have 24 x 7 service contract on the AC and other appliances so you will get fast service should it be needed. We do welcome well behaved pets with $150 pet fee for each pet.

This was a well-appointed house that had everything that my husband and I needed. The master bed was very comfortable. The house is in an area that is convenient to shopping, restaurants, bike trails, and beaches. We would stay here again next time we are in Venice.

Really nice house in Venice Florida. Property owner was responsive and friendly. House was very clean, well stocked with all the cooking utensils and bedding & towels needed. Beach gear, kayaks, bikes etc. etc. Washer and dryer. Allowed our dogs which was so nice to have them with us on vacation. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Easy to ride bikes around without lots of cars. Pool is fantastic. Highly recommend this property.

We have stayed in Venice the last few years in rentals within the same South Venice neighborhood, so I would like to say I know the value and quality in the area.
We had a few bumps in the road with this rental, and the host made it right immediately. Our Kitchen refrigerator was broken and freezing all the food, and the second I made the host aware she had a new fridge in the garage for us to use in less than 24 hours. She then offered to pay for the damaged goods from the fridge not working. We did have a small amount of mold in the bathroom shower ceiling, and the second I told the host she scrubbed it with bleach in less than 24 hours again. I will say the host was willing to help and responded always with a solution. She was great!
I do feel the place is a little run down for the high cost we paid. The photos online make it look brand new. It definitely had some wear and tear, but was clean. The towels had some staining from overuse, the couch was worn, little damages. That is the reason I am deducting a star.
The location is great, less than 10 min to manasota beach. 15 min or less to downtown Venice.

I waited this property of four out of five because it delivered everything it promised except for the privacy. The property was impacted by hurricane Ian however the property owner did not notify Us in advance that there would not be a fence around the property. Additionally there were pieces of wood in the backyard and you couldn't even close one of the side Gates to the fence. One of the screen doors for the pool enclosure also did not lock. It would have been great to know this before we actually took the vacation and there was plenty of time to provide a notice or even offer to return some of the nightly rate which was higher than we've ever paid for a vacation. The house itself was very clean. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable and the water pressure was amazing. Unfortunately the couches in the living room have been very worn and don't look anything like the pictures. Everyone struggled every night to open and close of the recliners which made an awful noise every time you opened and close them. We were happy to be able to take our small dog however had to keep him on the leash the whole time due to the fence. The kitchen was a great size. The only other issue was that the individuals for the water system came out and we were not expecting them as we were told they only come at the beginning of the month and our booking was in the middle of the month. We had to wait 45 minutes before turning on the showers and had to delay our departure to the beach one of the days. Then when the water was turned back on the sulfur smell was awful throughout the whole house. With respect to both the fence and the sulfur smell the property manager was very responsive. The washer and dryers worked amazing and each bathroom had a hair dryer. The pool was warm. It would have been nice if pool heater cover had been removed before we got there. When we had to remove it manually it had a lot of dirt on top of it which all spilled into the pool so we had to wait a bit to use it. The neighborhood wasn't as quiet as described. There is a rooster very nearby that grows every single morning multiple times. Overall our family had a lot of fun but would likely not stay here again.

Dee responded expeditiously to any questions or concerns. Riding the South Venice Beach Ferry to the private beach was very convenient. We appreciated the boardwalk that had steps with railings on both sides.

This home was well equipped, and Dee responded quickly to any questions we had. Our favorite thing about it was the location! The ferry and kayaks were great; we took a couple day trips up the gulf, but all our favorite spots were nearby. The pool was nice, but it was only warm enough at the warmest times of the warmest (December) days. Dee was a fabulous host, and this place made for a great vacation!

Very nice, comfortable, well located pool home in Florida. Excellent location close to beautiful beaches and the quaint town of Venice. We really enjoyed the clean & warm pool after a day at the beach shark tooth hunting. Short walk to the ferry to the private beach really exceeded our expectations. Home is fully stocked (linens, cook-wear, beach accessories, etc) clean, and updated. Look forward to returning again soon!

The house is fully stocked with everything you need for vacation, and many extras! The location is wonderful, particularly the beach ferry and kayak launch which we used a couple days. (We brought our own kayaks and beach chairs) but wouldn't need to if you didn't want to.
Our dogs enjoyed the fenced back yard.
The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and plenty of room to spread out in the house. Kitchen was fully stocked and was able to cook breakfast and heat up leftovers. Even had basic spices and oil, spray etc.
Dee was very responsive to any question which was very helpful.

My fiancé decided to elope while on vacation and it was the perfect get-away for the two of us and our children. A nice house close to beaches abs other fun attraction, but also a great house to just stay home and relax in the pool. Owner was super attentive and quick to answer any question and/or give her recommendations.

Our family from Michigan visited us in Venice, Fl at this peaceful property. We loved sitting outside, with the tranquil sound of birds singing in the morning. We also really enjoyed the quietness of the surrounding neighborhood. This house is a great gathering place for all meals...the kitchen is equipped with whatever you may need for breakfast, lunch, or dinner preparation. We will be staying here again!! This home was perfect for us and our fur baby. We enjoy being in a central location...between Manasota beach and Venice...accessible to so many trails and parks! We loved the ferry to the private beach and use of the Kayaks and bikes was a huge perk. The host thought of everything in the house for vacation and a trip to the beach...from coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved having a grill to use. The pool and the fenced private yard were an added plus! Also, we really liked the quietness of the neighborhood.

Being so close to the beach was wonderful. The house is very private surrounded by privacy fencing. It is nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our vacation. We loved having the bikes and kayaks too. We will definitely rent it again if our travels take us back to Venice Beach!

We had an amazing time in the Venice area. Our son graduated from High School this spring and this was our last trip as a family before he headed to college. He planned the trip and booked the house...the thing that drew him to this house was the location, it is close to alot of beaches. I believe we hit 7 during our 7 day stay. The other thing we really liked was the pool, it was really refreshing in the morning as well as late at night after our day in the sun. The house was perfect for us, it had all that we could have asked for. Dee was very responsive to any of our questions or needs. We definitely recommend this home to anyone that wants to have all the comforts of home and then some!!!
