Surrounded by 2000 years of history this superb 5 star holiday property is on ground floor level within a superb grade 11 listed property. It is located within the city walls and has to be one of the most marvelous locations in York. The property has been completely re-designed and refurbished offering a beautiful, modern and welcoming 5 star interior, giving guests incredibly high standards of accommodation with two sumptuous bedrooms. ‘George street boutique apartments’ are just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre down walmgate and have every convenience to hand with shops, delis, restaurants, history and more close by. A completely stunning property and a stunning location.
The property is beautifully furnished throughout, offering excellent sleeping accommodation in two sumptuous bedrooms. The property can accommodate up to six guests extremely comfortably with the additional sofa bed, with lots of space.
Through the apartment’s entrance hall the property opens up into a stunning hallway with kitchen , bedrooms and living room all opening up off this.
There is a large designer corner sofa , chess set and board games for adults and children alike. There is also a Smart TV, wi-fi and a Blu-tooth sound system.
The fully equipped ,designer kitchen is separate from the living area and has a wonderful dining table that seats up to 6 guests and can be transformed into a snooker table !!. With granite work tops, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer-drier and more it offers guests everything they could need during their stay.
The main bedroom has large period windows and offers a luxuriously comfortable king sized bed that can be split into singles if required, wardrobe, and Smart TV. The second bedroom has a superbly comfortable double bed.
The pristine master bathroom has a fantastic walk in shower.

This really is a stunning, high class and superb holiday property offering guests one of the best locations to stay, and from which to explore the city.

Great stay at York Boutique apartment. We were a party of 10 and fitted comfortably with room to spare. It's in a great location, walking distance in and out of the city centre but in a quiet area so had a great nights sleep! The apartment was immaculate, with a lovely kitchen area for hosting and spotlessly bedrooms and bathrooms! Would highly recommend a stay and would definitely visit again!

We had a fantastic time at this property. We had booked both apartments, which worked perfectly for our hen group. The place was spotless, and really well equipped. a very central flat with parking on your door step. It was simply stunning and for the price an absolute bargain! We have already booked for the summer, This is exactly the type of place I would expect from such a beautiful city!! We had a great time and all thoroughly enjoyed the pool table in the dining table!!

we were absolutely blown away by this stunning apartment, the décor was just amazing! Everything felt so luxurious and the pool table was a very welcome addition to our stay. Unreal stay so beautiful Within walking distance to the centre and other attractions. A real luxury accommodation. Everything you needed was there. Even fresh flowers in the accommodation. This listing is really wonderful. Its close to everything you would want to see in York and easy to locate. We would definitely recommend it. The entry is a bit complicated which means it is very secure (definitely a good thing for people with computers etc) but there were codes and locks that took us a while to figure out. All good though... go and enjoy!

We have stayed at this apartment about 4 times now and have loved coming back. Unfortunately this time we noticed the standard had really dropped with regards to cleanliness. These was dust on the walls and windows, the kitchen sink was grubby as the base around the taps weren’t cleaned, no kitchen roll and I saw blood stains on the additional duvet we asked for. Also some of the hand towels had marks on them. I am very disappointed as staying here has always been the highlight of our trip. But I think we will stay elsewhere next time.

The apartment is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable and extremely homely. The apartment is in a great location for a short walk into York near all the attractions and lots of places to eat & drink. We managed to park within the permitted area across the road and leave our car there throughout the stay which was very convenient. We’d definitely recommend the apartment for a trip to explore York.

A fantastic find. So so central - literally minutes until you are on the main streets. Restaurants / bars / cafes all at the end of the road. Despite the apartment being so central it was surprisingly quiet at night. Stylish and very comfortable apartment - sofa, chairs, beds, sofa bed - all very clean and comfortable. Parking permit was a definite bonus. The designated parking zone covers a few streets so we always found a parking space somewhere. When I am next in York I will be staying here!

We had a wonderful time in York with our ten your old grand-daughter, made perfect in the knowledge that we were always going back to our ideal temporary home. It was quiet, convenient, superbly furnished and equipped, spotlessly clean, spacious, immaculate and wonderfully comfortable. The owner dealt immediately with our own inability to make the coffee machine work. All we needed was a corkscrew and a knife sharpener!!

This apartment was so much more than we expected, the location was amazing! Within the York city walls, literally 5 minutes up a street called Fossgate which is full of really nice places to eat and drink, and then you hit the city centre. The apartment itself was very modern, there was lovely touches left by the agent/owner... It was just a really pleasant stay from start to finish! Check in process was easy and very well explained. Parking was provided which was an unexpected bonus being so close to the city centre. Would book this place again without a doubt.

Nothing negative to say except I wish we could have stayed longer! The flat was easy to find, smelled lovely and was very clean. The fittings and decor were luxurious and the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Parking was easy to find near the flat. The location was great for sightseeing and was also very near lots of restaurants which made it easy to sort meals. One of the best places I’ve stayed in ever. Will definitely stay here if ever in York again.

We husband and I were a bit afraid to go on holiday during this pandemic but my daughter is key worker and needed a holiday. We booked the York Boutique Let’s who were very helpful and friendly to deal with. Many places I contacted to enquire about their properties said they would meet me at the property with the key. As we are in a pandemic and social distancing is a must I did not want this. This place had a key code safe so there was no contact. The apartment was absolutely spotless. Dishwasher tablets, washing capsules, disinfect, anti bac hand soap and hand gel all left for us. As was bread, milk, tea and coffee. The place was huge and very well maintained. The location was excellent. So happy we booked here and will not hesitate to book again. As soon it safe to travel without restrictions I will be back.
