About this house rental

Cozy 2 story single family house on stilts, plenty of parking and room under the house for parking and outdoor living. Large open floor plan with lots of natural light uniting the kitchen dining area and living room, French doors opening out to large deck off the kitchen . There is breakfast counter with barstools, well equipped kitchen and washer and dryer on main floor. One Bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor and other 2 bedrooms and full baths upstairs . The living room has 2 pull out sofas, TV in all resting rooms so you can be entertained if you wish to be or sit back and enjoy the breeze of the ocean. Short walk to the beach, couple blocks from restaurants and many play-grounds. 10 minutes drive to Market Commons, Myrtle Beach, airport, golf courses, Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk and shopping.

MJ (host) was excellent. She communicated with us throughout the process and made the experience very welcoming. The house was exactly as described- very clean, well furnished, and in a great location. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly- lots of golf carts and dog walkers. Access to the beach was easy- maybe a 5 minute walk. Parking was also excellent- plenty of room for my large van and 20’ car trailer. Overall, I would highly recommend and most likely I will return next year.

We come with our dogs and have family vacationing there too. This is a great spot, close to beach and restaurants! We love to take the dogs to the beach and then dinner at one of the restaurants.

This home is a short walk to the beach! It was perfect for our family, including our dog! The house was spacious, clean and was exactly as we expected from the pics and host communications. Our host was available before, during and after our stay and was kind and welcoming. We were caught in a week of bad weather from Debby and she eased our concerns. We would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend this home and this host in a heartbeat!

This property is in such a great location! Close enough to walk to the beach many times per day. The house is spacious and has everything you need. The deck is a great place to relax. The owner was very responsive. Will definitely book again!

My family (including our son’s Golden Retriever and our French Bulldog) enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home located minutes from the beach. There is plenty of room for parking and a wonderful porch area off the living room! We rented a golf cart but we didn’t really need it due to the close proximity to the beach access. The kitchen is larger than pictured and accommodated us well! The walk down the street from the home was great for the dogs and allowed us to give them exercise w/o always going to the beach! The beds were great and slept well! Towels, linens, soap…. were provided as well. The owner responded promptly to any of our needs! It was a great week!!

House was as advertised. Comfortable. Wifi signal is a bit weak and the outside deck, stairs and furniture needed a good cleaning but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We traveled to MB for my husband’s 50th birthday and had a wonderful time with our family! We had plenty of room for our kids and grandkids and easily accessed bars and restaurants in Surfside. I highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful property. It is just as listed and the owner lets you know she’s available but she is not intrusive at all. We so enjoyed our time in her beautiful home. We have always stayed ocean front but loved the quietness of this home with only a few minutes walk to the ocean access path. Hope to visit again!

Our family of 6 and 2 furbabies traveled to Surfside Beach for a week of relaxation. This was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything that we could need (including a crockpot). We were a short two blocks to the beach which was perfect for daily walks. I don't think we could ask for a better host. MJ reached out immediately to help us with planning our visit and making suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Our first night we had a slight issue with connecting to the Internet and she did not hesitate to communicate with us and make sure we got everything that we needed.

MJ is an amazing host. So responsive and eager to make your stay great. We stayed only for a couple days for a baseball tournament. Very close proximity to beach and attractions!

This is the best stocked house I've ever stayed in! Anything you need is there. Kitchen was a delight to be able to cook in. The one block right onto the beach was even easy for someone my age. The ONLY negative has nothing to do with the house. It was a Mustang show weekend and the VERY loud cars racing up & down was terrible. I feared for children getting off the bus on 10th Ave. as a few mins after they got off, a Mustang flew up 10th Ave and would never had been able to stop if a child ran across the street. Thankfully the cars were starting to leave Wed and it returned to the quiet, family friendly area. I'd stay there again, but check the calendar of events first.

We had a great time and the location was perfect! Close enough to walk to restaurants and the beach was only 1 block away. We also enjoyed the large deck, the kitchen was well stocked and large countertops made it easy to entertain our friends and family. Beds were comfy too! The best thing for us was that it was pet friendly, and we were able to bring our dogs to the beach! We have always wanted to do this. We brought a kennel for when we were out, the dogs just napped. In the early morning and evening we walked them on the beach and then ate outside on the deck at one of the restaurants in surfside. So much fun!!🐾🐾 Thanks!

This was a great property and was located a short walk from the beach. There were many restaurants located less than a mile away.. My grandkids loved the wide beach and the gentle waves. It was nice that dogs could be walked on the beach before 10:00 am. We had a great week!

We had a great stay in Surfside. While we're no strangers to SC beaches, we'd never stayed in Surfside before, and we loved the community feel of the area. The house was in a great location--easy walk to the beach. There was so much free space in the kitchen for all our food, which seems to be lacking in so many places we've stayed in the past. Layout of the house was great. Loved that there were side walks and cross walks throughout the area. MJ was a great host, complete with restaurant recs (tried 2--both delish!). If this house suits the needs of whoever we convince to come with us next year, we'd love to stay again. Thanks for a great week!

Overall great trip. Great location...just a block from the beach access. Ample parking - we were able to bring my husband's fishing boat as well as a trailer for our golf cart. House was spacious and had everything we needed. Loved that we were able to bring our dog with us. Only suggestion would be to add foam toppers or replace the mattresses on the queen beds upstairs - one of them you could feel every spring. MJ was very communicative and thorough. She was available if we needed anything and to answer any questions. Appreciated the fact we had a can for recyclables that was picked up along with the trash.

My family and I had a great time at It’s a Wonderful Life! The house was roomy and perfect for Grandma and Grandpa and our two growing families with the babies! 3 bedrooms and bathrooms was what we needed. We cooked and grilled and everything was great. MJ is a great host. Thank you!

Our family had a wonderful time at the beach, and we enjoyed the beach house. The proximity to the beach was great, and we enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood. MJ responded very quickly to any questions and solved the mystery of the "Dr Suess Tree". Great time for everyone all around, and of course, it went so quickly.

The home was perfect, the weather not so much. ( not blaming anyone except Mother nature😉) Only sugestion , pehaps leave a sponge for dishes and garbage bags in the bathroom garbages. OHHH, and on the left back portion of the property( standing in driveway facing house)there is an over abundance of small spike prickly hurtful grass awns, "no beuno"!! for Dogs! It was in my pets paws, and face, it was miserable for the dog and I, trying to pull them off her! Something must be done about that or maybe just put a big warning sign for people.😳😿 PLEASE FOR OUR FUR BABIES SAKE!
