LAYOUT: Walk up the steps and Marsh Haven is the bottom unit (there is another unit on top of it). On the right when you open the door will be the kitchen, then the living area with the screened in porch. Bedroom 3 will be on the left when you walk in, then bedroom 2 with bathroom across the hall on right. Then at the end of the hall is bedroom 1. The porch that leads out of the master also connects to another door in the dining room. Under the unit is a garage and carport area where the grill, golf carts, and other items are. Marsh Haven is nicely decorated, well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the convince of having two golf carts. Our family had loads of fun kayaking with the 2 boats provided. Having the dock was wonderful to make memories crabbing and fishing. This property is in the perfect location on the island and with a stunning view. It is fully equipped with everything we needed for our week vacation. We will be returning next summer!

We visited BHI in March, our first time going during this time of year and our first time staying on the marsh side of the island. We had a fabulous time! The property is thoughtfully designed and is both beautiful and functional. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the living room with the gorgeous views of the marsh during the day and cheering on the Wolfpack’s historic March Madness run at night. If we’d been during warmer months, we would have lived on the screened porch overlooking those same views and taken advantage of the nearby pool. It was fun for the kids to be able to walk down to the dock and explore. We were so grateful to have a golf cart with a rain cover for this time of year, not even just because of the potential for rain, but to block any wind chill. The location was perfectly situated between the Maritime Market and the lighthouse and harbor dining. We also visited the east end of the island to do explorations with the Turtle Conservancy. Highly Recommend!

Well appointed Condo. Location was perfect. Beds could use a mattress upgrade. The construction upstairs was a bit annoying. Great stay otherwise! Would definitely recommend.

This was a really clean, well appointed beautiful property. Our 2nd time using Itrip and we were not disappointed! Everything was seamless and clear. Would love to see a few more washcloths provided, which is minor.

First time staying on BHI in the Fall, first time by the marsh. Stocked with everything we needed, it was a perfect escape. I would highly recommend.

What a wonderful location for a girls weekend. The view from the porch and from the gorgeous picture window was soothing. We enjoyed the fireplace at night in the cozy living space. You can hear footsteps when there are people upstairs. But the location midway between Old Baldy and Maritime Market made up for it.

Beautiful property, well maintained - would give it 4.5 stars if the system would let me! Convenient to the market and shops, not too far from the ferry dock and beaches either. Lovely furnishings and kitchen is well stocked! Screened porch with marsh view is BEAUTIFUL!!! Only downsides for us were the king bed mattress (softer than we like, but that is personal preference) and staying in the B unit downstairs while the A unit upstairs was occupied - could hear people and dogs walking around at all hours above us. Thanks for a lovely long weekend in our happy place!!

The condo is nicely updated and is decorated well. The pillows were nice and the view of the marsh was so scenic. I love that it came with 2 golf carts- that was a game changer for convenience!
If you’re new to BHI- this location is very centrally located. We were minutes from the grocery store, Marina, lighthouse, and restaurants. Also pretty equidistant from BHI Club and Shoals Club. This condo advertises BHI Club and golf, however that is an additional cost separate from the reservation and the club doesn’t allow guests on certain days, including Saturdays.
My only complaint is that we could hear the upstairs neighbors thumping around throughout our stay. I reported it to the property manager who said they reached out to the upstairs neighbors but the noise didn’t stop for the remainder of our stay. It kept me up at night.

We had a great stay at Marsh Haven! The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the bikes and the carts are ideal- one was especially great for all the rain we had during our visit. We would definitely stay here again.

You can tell the difference when someone cares. The forethought that went into the care of this home is evident. Everything was as clean as it could be, everything was in working order, all as described, and in great condition. While we were staying I had the opportunity to check out other rentals from other management companies and none were as good as this iTrips property.
We loved the location and amenities. Would diffidently stay here again.

This is our second time staying at this property. It’s well stocked with everything you need, clean and the location is wonderful. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings. Having the enclosed golf cart was nice because the first part of our stay was chilly. I would definitely stay here again.

Marsh Haven is well maintained and clean. The convince of having the golf carts, kayaks, boats, grills and the pool helped make our stay memorable. This property is in the perfect location on the island. It is fully equipped with everything we needed and wanted for our weekend getaway. Lots of little details that made the stay comfortable and easy. From the milk steaming Keurig and pantry staples, to the monogrammed towels and comfy beds, this property is home away from home. The island is a very peaceful place with the best beaches. The view of the sunrise each morning from the screened in porch was magical to experience. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed an amazing stay at Marsh Haven. The ride from the marina was short. The condo's location makes it so convenient for shopping, dining, and the beach. The condo was very clean and well appointed. It is located in such a peaceful setting. The kitchen was wonderful and included everything one would need. The large living area was so comfortable and bright. A huge bonus was the awesome screen porch to relax with morning coffee, read a book or an afternoon cocktail. The view was the Best, and the condo's design took advantage of the idyllic view.. Additional bonuses of Marsh Haven were the provided golf carts, kayaks, bicycles, washer/dryer and the plus of an onsite pool. Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

This is the second time we have stayed in the Timber Creek area but it's our first time at Marsh Haven. We would definitely return to this unit! In addition to the 2 golf carts, 2 kayaks and bikes at your disposal and the pool right next store, the unit is beautifully decorated with practical, comfy furniture and all the kitchen utensils and amenities you could need. ITrip Vacations was extremely responsive, proactive and easy to deal with. Everything was perfect!

Our family has stayed in several properties on BHI & truly enjoyed our stay at Marsh Haven. Very well appointed with most everything we needed during our stay. The location & view were great!. The golf carts, bikes, & beach chairs were in great shape which is a huge plus for us. We vacationed with our 2 teenage boys & another couple. We gave our couple friend the master suite due to sharing the bathroom with teenagers so we would have loved having another bathroom but we knew that going into the vacation. We would also have liked having a TV in our bedroom to escape & watch a movie. We will definitely rent Marsh Haven again but only with our family.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Marsh Haven! The unit was beautifully appointed, felt very clean, and had a breathtaking view of the marsh. Instructions for check-in and check-out were communicated clearly, and everything within the unit was labeled well. Our little boy loved the community pool, so it was nice to have such close access. My wife enjoyed reading on the porch, and I was able to sneak away for some fishing using the provided kayaks. We also took advantage of the available bikes, which was fun. Both golf carts were functional and maintained charge well during daily outings. Our family looks forward to finding an occasion to stay in this unit again and would highly recommend it to others considering it!

We just returned from a 3 night stay at Marsh Haven. Every word of the property description is spot on. The screened in porch was our absolute favorite space. So peaceful, calming view of the water, and comfortable furniture. The condo is spotless and was not lacking in thoughtful touches. We only used one of the golf carts, everything was in perfect working order and our friends commented how nice a cart it was for a rental property. We felt perfectly situated on the island with a short trip to the market, restaurants/shops and beach areas.
We are already trying to figure out when we can sneak away again to this incredible gem on BHI. Thank you to itrip and Marsh Haven owners for the courteous, caring service before, during and after our memorable anniversary trip!

We had the best trip to Bald Head at this property. It was a trip with my 4 year old daughter and my 73 year old mother. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable! The view from the back deck is amazing and it is close to the market! I highly recommend this condo and will be back.

What a wonderful time we had staying at this very special condo on this incredible island. The fully renovated condo had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished. The openness of the living area allowed us to appreciate the fantastic view of the creek and all the beautiful birds. Having access to 2 golf carts was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

From a peaceful, relaxing view of the marsh from the screened porch to the bustling activities provided by tennis, golf, biking and walks on the beach, there is something for everyone. The condo is clean, newly renovated and very well equipped, and the electric fireplace provides a cozy atmosphere. Bikes, kayaks, and golf carts enable you to go anywhere on or around the island.
