The Neighborhood:

Nearby the house are the valley towns of Bondville, Rawsonville and Winhall, where you can find small convenience stores to stock up on a few items, some bars and restaurants for a bit of nightlife, and small shops.
For ski and snowboarding, Stratton is a huge mountain and is less than 10 minutes away. For beginner skiers or those who like to take it easy on the slopes, Bromley is perfect for you. If you are a ski enthusiast, Magic Mountain, all the way.
If you are looking for the prime Vermont culture experience, head west on Route 30 for about fifteen minutes, which will bring you to Manchester, an amazing Vermont town that has something for everyone. There is plenty of shopping. There are outdoor stores which offer classes and experiences from learning how to fly fish to learning how to shoot like Winston Churchill to how to drive off-road. There is the Equinox Spa, which is renowned and highly rated for those who want luxurious pampering. There is the Dorset Horse Show.
For golfers, Stratton and Magic Mountain both have courses. Manchester has a private golf club.
Hikers should explore Stratton, especially those looking for a good workout. Anglers have several ponds, lakes, and rivers to choose from, the best thing to do is when you purchase your license (everyone over aged 16 is required to have one), grab the free Vermont fishing magazine which has more information than you could ever need, as well as the rules and regulations.
We have a concierge that would be more than happy to bring Vermont to you, or to schedule your adventures. They can do wine and beer tastings, private chefs, catering, grocery services, massaging and pampering, make reservations for meals, snowmobiling tours, and a whole lot more! We provide their contacts after a booking is made.
The home has a high-end vintage Sony surround sound system with speakers built into the cathedral ceilings in the main house family room. The system is from the early 2000s and does not have bluetooth or wireless connectivity, it requires a laptop or cell phone with a headphone jack to use.
Looking forward to hosting you!

My family of 10 adults and 6 children had a fantastic vacation at this 5-Star Home! The heated pool, fire pit, hot tub, sauna, play room which included ping pong, pool and air hockey kept us all busy with fun activities. The view of Bromley Mountain was stunning. Our family visited Bromley, a 5 minute car ride, and had a wonderful time at their Adventure Park! We bought most of our food in Manchester, a 10 minute car ride. The home was very comfortable and spacious with everything a family would need and want.
Thank you, Dmitry.

Dmitry was amazing and so was the house!

Our family has rented many properties over the years, but this one ranks as the best-managed, best-equipped, and most beautifully situated. The excellent pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained—and even able to be enjoyed during some cooler days. The game room was much appreciated (especially during the not-so-great weather), and the second kitchen was a real bonus for those in our group with special food needs.
There is lots of room to spread out: The beds are comfortable: There are lots of towels for indoors and out: Outdoor furniture was clean and comfortable: The washing machine and dryer were efficient and in good condition. The kitchen is more-then-ample, everything works, the filter for the refrigerator ice-maker and water was changed as we arrived, and there are lots of dishes, silverware, cookware, etc. The sauna was excellent. I could say more, but I suspect you get the point. (We gave it 4-stars for "accuracy of on-line"description because it is even better than the listing.) This is a top notch property—and Dmitry is an A-one manager! (And no, he isn't a relative—we have never met him🙃)

Plenty of play, space and sleep in space for our 16 person extended family. The pool is incredibly large. A first rate Jacuzzi and a new gas grill round out the back area. The deck has a splendid view of Bromley Mountain and a large picnic table where we could all dine. Our caterer/ chief appreciated the well equipped kitchen. Very private location.

We held our annual family vacation in Vermont this year. We had 16 family members and a nanny. There was sufficient room for all of us to spread out, plenty of bedrooms. The owner Dmitry was great, always contactable with anything we needed. The location was great for hikes, and 10 minutes to the beautiful town of Manchester. We highly recommend this house for family vacations.

Stayed here for a family reunion with 8 adults and 5 children. House was a perfect size so everyone wasn’t on top of one another. Made good use of the large deck for meals and socializing with nice views of Bromley. Also enjoyed the proximity to Manchester (less than 15 min). Kiddos also really enjoyed the game room.
Dmitry was incredibly responsive, from the time we booked the place, to check in and checkout. House was great, had everything we hoped for. Highly recommend!

We had a great time in Winhall! The house was even better than the pictures and has a huge backyard with swimming pool, fire pit and hot tub overlooking the beautiful Bromley Mountain. Dmitry was a great host, he was always available and made our trip really easy and enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this house to any larger groups, family, friends or work retreats. The house is spacious, clean and has everything you could possibly need. It’s also located next to Stratton Mountain and Bromley so great for skiing! We had a great time and would definitely go back!

We had an awesome time at this home. It was spacious, clean and very well maintained. Waking up to see the Bromley slopes right there was an unexpected treat.
Off the top of my head, here are some things that stood out…
• The lot is set off from the road and very private. No neighbors or cars to disturb the peace.
• After the slopes our group split up between the sauna and the outdoor hot-tub. So relaxing.
• Plenty of parking. We had 6 cars, but the driveway could have fit so many more.
• The younger crowd loved the game room with billiards, air hockey and ping-pong table. The room is also at the opposite end of the great room, so the sound was minimal.
• Very convenient to both Stratton and Bromley.
• Everything just worked! Nothing was broken.
Can't wait until next year.

We had a top notch experience at this property. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the kitchen was clean and well equipped. We were there in October, and enjoyed the backyard fire pit. I would highly recommend this property for extended family and friend gatherings.

We had a wonderful stay at Dmitry’s home. The views of Bromley Mountain with peak fall colors were absolutely beautiful. We made frequent use of the game room, one of the best setups we've experienced. Excellent amenities - hot tub, sauna, large TVs. Lots of space, enough for multiple families. Outstanding central location to neighboring towns and good restaurants. Excellent communication from the host. Would love to stay again!

We woke up to the sunrise, drank some locally roasted coffee on the back porch as the rays melted away the mist, revealing Bromley Mountain in the distance. This is a home that features a lot of wood – wood floors, wood beds, wood ceilings, and the wooded forest – providing the theme for our stay. The game room looks like it was designed in a famous painting and then expertly transitioned into reality. The wood beams must be at least two centuries old, the markings from hand-tools made by a carpenter whose identity is lost to time, never knowing that two hundred years later that the fruits of their labor would still be proudly on display. The hot tub is supremely placed, one direction is Bromley, another direction is the Vermont wilderness, so close you would think you could reach out from the water and touch it, the sounds and smells relaxing both the mind and body. Two fireplaces, wood of course, that filled the home with a lovely heat and sounds as the wood crackled, paired perfectly with a 2016 Château Pape Clément Pessac-Léognan Cabernet Sauvignon. Local Vermont cheese to go with it, of course. Plenty of good places to read a book, the fire pit being our favorite. Beyond the fire pit, a lovely yet challenging back yard to explore with an enchanting brook to reflect over. A perfect Vermont wilderness retreat, with a lovely window dressing of luxury.

I ended up booking this place last minute due to sudden change of plans, and I didn’t even have the time to form expectations. If I would have, they would have definitely been exceeded. It is such an amazing location, and the property is absolutely impeccable! It is totally like one of those ‘perfect bliss’ and ‘zen’ places in spa retreat commercials — except with a cooler vibe. Spa retreats don’t have air hockey tables! I am not even sure when I last saw an air hockey table, but I think I need one at home now — OMG we had a blast playing it every night after dinner! We did lots of incredible hiking in the spring forest, taking in all of that stunning beauty and delicious Vermont air (someone ought to start bottling and selling it, they will make a killing!) This was truly a perfect retreat. After a day I felt like a whole new person. My only complaint is that I should have booked this place for longer, who knew it was going to be this great! Definitely planning to come back. Book it, you won’t regret it (unless you prefer noise and bad air, then you won’t like it lol). Oh, and do check out their concierge service: they are excellent. They got me a private tour of the Museum of the Creative Process in Manchester (a town nearby). I’ve never heard of it before, loved it! They know their stuff.

What an amazing place! Within minutes to Bromley, Stratton ski slopes, and the quaint village of Manchester with its refined restaurants and shops. The house is privately tucked from the road, included with all amenities, luxury bedding, etc. There are plenty of things to do both inside and outside. We hiked in the woods and discovered a lovely babbling brook and something else (let it be a surprise - kids will love it!), set next to the firepit at starry night, and enjoyed beautiful views over Bromley peak from the hot tub. The game room is a great addition to the house. We stayed in this authentic Barn style Vermont house during "the mud season" and I am sure it is even more fun during the summer, fall, and winter. I would highly recommend this house and would love to come back. Definitely 5 stars!!!

My family had a comfortable stay at this picturesque home, and an excellent time exploring the forest on the property and skiing on Mt. Bromley, which was only 4 minutes away and could be seen from every window.
The host was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. The home itself was very charming; well-equipped with all necessary amenities and entertainment. Even took advantage of the concierge service, which was excellent. Absolutely recommend, and hope to come again!

I visited Dmitry and Bryan's property for a work event and was amazed. The home is huge, three floors plus a wing over the game room, with a ton of bathrooms. It is apparent that the owner put a lot of time into this home for renters, the decorations and details prove that. The view of Bromley is incredible and towers over the back yard trees, and every bedroom or room facing that direction can see it ... simply amazing. The home is also close to everything ... with crazy fast internet which from my experience is hard to find in rural Vermont. So quiet and peaceful, yet so much to do! Communication with Dmitry and Bryan was incredible, they responded to our questions so fast, which meant we had no anxiety at all. Tons of amenities, two family rooms, a sauna, and a hot tub. Already planning to come back to see the house in summer and enjoy the pool!
