About this cottage rental

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Imagine loading up in your car with a few friends or family and within a one hour drive of Austin you are transported to a totally unique part of Texas. You’ll pass huge granite outcrops and wind through the hill country to arrive at one of Texas’ prettiest rivers…the Llano.
The house has been completely remodeled and has all new luxury finishes and linens. There are 2 outside areas to watch for wildlife or enjoy a meal with a view.
The space
Beautifully remodeled cottage with quality and comfort in mind. Large living and open kitchen with a couch big enough for all! The beds are all top of the line new mattresses and luxury linens. Bunk beds are outfitted with safety rails.
Use the telescope to see the stars or look for arrowheads at the nearby Slab. Property backs to public land along the beautiful Llano River so there’s plenty to see and do!

From the property you can walk to the river . Packsaddle mountain can be seen to the left. The big oak tree in the yard is thought to be 400 years old!

It was amazing!!! Super clean house! Two amazing showers!! Bed was so comfortable!! Do not hesitate to book this house. It was a little walk to the river but it was worth it! Beautiful and peaceful!! It was a very private river spot which we loved!!! My husband and I stayed without our kids this time but we are definitely planning on bringing them next time so they can see the river! Plenty of beds for the kids as well! Loved our stay. Thank you for having us!

We had a great time at the beautiful little cottage. View was great and it had everything we needed! Host was phenomenal with some last min changes to our group and very gracious and responsive. Would love to come back when the weather is a little cooler to better enjoy the hike down to the river!

Just three girlfriends wanting to get away for an evening. The house was adorable! Very clean and exactly as described. The owner was amazing! I had to change the date of our reservation and she was able to accommodate us. Then, my husband was trying to cancel a different reservation, but accidentally cancelled this reservation. The owner was so kind about all of our craziness. I would absolutely book this property again. It was peaceful and the views from the back porch were beautiful. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Pretty, neat, comfortable home. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay on the Llano river. This home is just up the road from the Slab, which is very convenient. Jacki is a great host and very responsive.

We stayed here for the solar eclipse, and I can tell you that the pictures of this property don’t do it justice. Yes, from the front it looks like an overgrown shed, but I assure you it’s so much more than that! Inside it’s airy and spacious with room for everyone to hang out together. Where it really shines is on the multiple level deck off the back of the house which overlooks the river in the distance! Incredible views of the sunset from the comfort of your own rental property! Such wonderful and thoughtful hosts as well!

The cottage is a clean, updated lodging with ample space for the two of us. We enjoyed having two bathrooms and a huge king bed and no noise above us. It has a lovely view down to the river and of the sunset from the back deck. Fine dining can be found in Kingsland at the Junction Prime upscale steak house.

Cute, clean place to stay. Has all kitchen items you need. Small TV in living room, bigger TV in bedroom. Great backyard to see the sunset and rise. 5 minute walk to the water. Great place to bird watch. H E B close by.

I used this home to gather my closest girl friends the night before my wedding. We didn't want to do anything crazy, so it was perfect for us to just sit and catch up all night! Since most of my ladies are out of town or out of state, this was the perfect opportunity to just gather and enjoy each other's company! And the bunk beds made it so that only two of us had to share a bed. All in all, it was a wonderful stay!

This was my first time getting a home for a rental instead of a hotel, and let me just say the pictures DO NOT do this home ANY Justice. The home was prepared beautifully, the cleanliness was off the charts, and very family friendly! We enjoyed our time exploring the river behind the home, had us a BBQ for dinner, and finished the night off with the fire pit. Ms. Jacki was very helpful as I did not know how to use the propane grill. Please do not hesitate to book this property for a getaway. I cannot wait to book again, watching the sunset on the balcony was to die for.

My sisters and I stayed here just for one night. We were all impressed with the property. It’s extremely clean, nicely updated, beautiful location near the river. We didn’t have time to sit outside near the fire pit but enjoyed the morning walk to the river. The owner have thought of everything to make sure you're comfortable during your stay. Speaking of comfort, we stayed in the bunk room. (Four women in their 50’s). They are well built with no wobbling, no cracking and the mattresses are very comfortable. Communication was easy and timely. They’ve also left restaurant recommendations and house info by the front door. We would definitely stay here again but next time for a longer period of time.

Beautiful place inside and out. Our host, Jacki, was super attentive to any questions I had during the entire stay. The view is amazing from the back porch. Very comfy beds as well. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again.

Clean small home. Lots of seating room outside with 3 different gathering spots. Water wasn’t very accessible at this time (July and in the middle of a drought!) but you could still see the water from the seating areas and was nice in the morning & evenings.

We had a great time during our stay. Marble Falls was a short drive away. Swimming down the road at the The Slab. Host was very responsive with any questions we had. The house had everything we needed to cook and relax. Would definitely go back!

Loved staying at this property- newly updated with gorgeous bathrooms, higher end appliances, comfortable beds & luxury linens. Very clean! Host provided many thoughtful touches including soaps and coffee. Host was also very accommodating with check in and check out. Would 100% stay here again!

We had such a wonderful time. Home was so clean and welcoming! Perfect space for our family. I took my daughter and her 3 boys ages 10, 7, & 2 for a quick get away before school started back up. Everything we could need was available. Beds were VERY comfortable and all bedding was clean and luxurious. Bathrooms were great and the bunk beds were amazing!! We all slept like babies. The river is just wonderful in the back yard. So much to explore. Host was so accommodating and so kind. She shared information about local habitat that we could look out for during this season and gave great advice about some activities in the area. She went above and beyond. We just loved it!! We will definitely be back!

Looking for place close to mother house that could accommodate family for Thanksgiving dinner . Have stayed at alot of rentals and this is best stocked kitchen ever. Lovely house with decks and views of river. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Bed is so comfortable. You cannot go wrong with this house. We will definately rent again.

The cottage was beautiful, charming and comfortable. We loved the view of the hills and the river from the multi-tiered back deck, amid the sprawling live oak branches. We enjoyed a walk along the Llano river, a quick 2-min walk from the back door. Also, loved the little touches like the snacks, drinks and having a kettle and pour over (and happened to have my favorite Austin coffee on hand.) Jacki was a fantastic host. She was very friendly and her correspondence was clear and concise. I would definitely stay there again.

Interesting property on the river. Recently remodeled. Clean with all the necessities. We stayed for one night and explored the local scenery. The wild hogs paid the back yard a visit a couple of hours after sundown!

Lovely, updated, spotless, open, airy, well stocked, comfortable, attractive and, well, perfect! The whole house was beautifully appointed. The porch overlooks the (unfortunately very low) Llano river and the hill country. They created a trail down the hill to the riverbed which looked interesting to explore. Beautiful, peaceful and quiet! The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed with fresh linens and duvet. Towels were thick and soft. The bathroom was updated and beautiful, with a sliding heavy door, complete with soft close hinges. The showers were beautifully tiled. Kitchen was well-stocked with supplies. Cabinets had soft close hinges too. There was even an induction stove! Fun, "retro" style fridge. Wifi and good tv's in living room and master bedroom. Bring your own user-name and password to enjoy Netflx, etc. This house was completely remodeled and it shows... It's an easy place to enjoy! I marked the "neighborhood" question above as Good vs. Excellent because there are some homes less tidy and updated as this house. Many of the homes in the neighborhood appear to be in varying forms of being remodeled... Lots of updates in the homes overlooking the Llano... just not all are finished yet!

Booked this place about a week out from our trip. We just came for 1 night. We got in late and left early in the morning for fishing near by, but it was a nice place for our small group. Jacki was great, sent all the property information the day ahead of time and seemed very responsive. Very pleased with our short stay!
