We enjoyed our stay at The Mariner. We had 2 couples, but, I wouldn't say the house is really setup for that, it is geared towards a small family.
It still worked out just fine for us. We had our dogs so the fenced backyard was perfect. My only real complaint was the house claims to have a fully stocked kitchen, this I cannot agree with. Luckily, I don't trust any rental properties and bring everything I need to cook my meals, but if I hadn't I would have been in trouble. There weren't even any wine glasses or a wine opener! Minimal pots and pans, no large skillet of any sort, no mixing bowls, limited utensils, etc. Bring what you need for your meals and you will be fine. There are very cute black bunnies who live in the yard, that is a warning to dog owners as the main front window has no coverings, so they were tortured by the rabbits. The house was hot, I would recommend putting a covering on the front window, and throwing some fans in the bedrooms. Please note, this just feedback/recommendations, not real complaints as I said we had a great stay.

The house was nice. Had a few issues but Vacasa is working on them.

The house was clean over all and a short drive to the beach. It was a good value for what you get.

Modest home in a quiet neighborhood.
Proximity to Westport Jetty, Ocean Beaches and local rivers made this a perfect spot for active families with dogs.
The yard was clean, safe and secure.
The home itself is also clean, but in a well used way.
So if you're looking for the Ritz, go to the Ritz.
This is a modest home, no frills and absolutely perfect for a tight budget.
If the rates stay reasonable we will definitely be back.
Well worth it.
I would bring my own prep knife and favorite cooking pan but what they have here works for basic meals.
The kitchen isnt fancy, but it's clean and usable.
Water pressure is great, there is hot water and enough for two long showers in a row.
Master bed is a queen size sleep number mattress.
It's older, and sorta feels like an Xtra delux air mattress.
But again, this 3 bedroom home is under $100 a night to rent.
I've had to spend more on an actual campsite just to sleep on the ground.
So comparatively, I would pick this bed any day of the week.
It just takes a few minutes to find you "number".
Twin with a trundle in the 2nd bedroom and a futon in the 3rd.
Trundle bedroom has a gaming station and a sliding door to the backyard.
You could bring kids or dogs with no worries about safety.

Booked this home knowing the weather wasn’t going to be great. Planned anew years weekend of movies and family time. The house was filthy. Wife spent the first night cleaning. Piles of pet hair swept up, grime stuck on the hardwoods, even when we pulled back the sheets there was pet hair. Wife wouldn’t sleep under the covers. Advertised with WiFi and TV. WiFi would not work which the tv requires so we had no tv all weekend. Didn’t even supply extra garbage bags for the kitchen garbage. Sent multiple messages directly to the host with zero response. I literally never hear a thing from the local property manager. Just text messages through Vacasa. Our weekend plan of family time and movie marathon was ruined. Was told I was getting a $150 refund for my wife having to clean. We’ll see if it shows up after this review. But I wouldn’t stay at this home again for free.
