We had a very good time at Brynffynnon Boutique Bed and Breakfast. It is very well located, the rooms are uniquely decorated and breakfast is very good. Betty and Richard are wonderful hosts, ensured we had everything we needed and provided useful information about restaurants and walks in the area.
We have no complains. We had a great stay.

Betty And Richard are the perfect hosts. They are so welcoming and accommodating. There B&B is stunning with amazing artifacts from their travels.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was great with plenty of food and options.
Betty and Richard were always on hand if we needed anything.
We even had wine in the evening with them,
One of the bests B&Bs we've stayed in.
All perfect

• Wonderful Victorian property (former Vicarage) with lovely period features
• Richard & Betty are excellent hosts, friendly & informative without being intrusive
• Large bedroom with really comfy bed - nice décor & “finishing touches”
• Large en-suite with great spa bath & shower over
• Nice breakfast in lovely dining room – good quality food freshly cooked
• Ample on-site parking – a real bonus in Dolgellau
• Great location easy walking distance to all Dolgellau attractions
• Can certainly recommend this B&B and will definitely stay here again when next in area
• Cannot fault anything relating to my stay (apart from the weather!)
• Narrow lanes leading to property may prove challenging for large vehicles

The warm hosts , decor & attention to detail , spacious elegant property
Dolgellau is a charming characterful very Welsh town. We can recommend the lamb shank at the y Sospan restaurant
Access a little difficult but prior advice from the hosts helped: The best access is via Meyrick street to the end, then dogleg straight over up the hill, take 2nd right onto Mount Pleasant, we are the gates in front of you at the end.
Do not attempt to come up Love Lane as it is not for cars. We have a Mercedes ML and most people have SUVs around here.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Kind regards
Betty

What a find! Brynfyynnon Boutique Bed and Breakfast is a gem, beautifully furnished and decorated throughout with a feel of timeless elegance. We had a warm welcome from Betty and our room was both spacious and spotless with a comfy bed and large bathroom. Importantly, the shower was great although there was a traditional freestanding bath tub if that takes your fancy. A lovely freshly cooked breakfast in the morning in the beautiful light filled dining room set us up for the day ahead.
The property is high up and it is a little tricky to navigate through the narrow lanes, but well worth the effort!

Everything! The property is beautiful, the location is great and the hosts are fantastic people!
Breakfast is fresh and plentiful and the quality of ingredients is top notch! I think you can tell the ethos of the hosts by the standard of tea and coffee in the room, Twinings and Taylors and not a drop of UHT in sight!
Our first night we were invited to join the hosts for drinks in the garden, and they supplied the beer! A lovely couple with such interesting history, I actually look forward to staying with them again!

The building/guest house is beautiful with a wonderful view down over the town and beyond. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedlinen. The bathroom was huge and the shower had good pressure. Delicious breakfast.
A short walk downhill took you to shops, restaurants and pubs.
Betty looked after us very well. Would enjoy going back and staying longer.
Plug points a bit hidden behind heavy but beautiful furniture. Found one available though.

Everything was wonderful about the stay here. Betty and Richard were exceptional hosts. The B&B is absolutely incredible, filled with lots of unusual pieces including antiques and art, with a story to go with almost everything. The rooms were spacious and each one unique. This really is actually a boutique B&B! We also spent time in the evenings with Betty and Richard, finding out about their fascinating lives and sharing stories. We are definitely returning and will be bringing more of the family. You also couldn't ask for a better location, views were beautiful and we returned feeling really rested after a few nights' wonderful sleep in super cosy beds! As well as falling in love with the accommodation, we absolutely loved the village too. You would struggle to find anywhere where you would be more looked after.
Nothing. Only that we aren't returning sooner!

Everything! The B&B is in a fab location just a 5 minute stroll from the main square with the restaurants, shops and pubs. We were met on arrival by such a lovely friendly couple who welcomed us into their home. Our room exceeded our expectations and was large and cosy with everything you could wish for. The bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing! We had a fabulous nights sleep and it was so quiet, no noise from any of the other rooms. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty with excellent produce and cooked fresh to order with a lovely continental spread to tuck into while waiting for your hot food. The B&B has parking which is another massive bonus for us. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. You will be well looked after.
Nothing! Other than having to leave and go home!

Easy and friendly check in. An issue arose that was sorted quickly and without fuss. Lovely breakfast. Fantastic old house. Richard and Betty were very friendly, chatty and helpful.. Great location. Set in a small but lovely old town.
All streets are very narrow, but navigable with care, and all part of the charm of the town.
