My main reason for choosing this hotel was the location on my route, pet friendly, low price and higher star rating. I arrived just before 8pm, the Check in process was seamless and the gentleman at the front desk was very polite and professional. My room was on the 2nd floor, I was able to park nearby a stairwell and easily head to my room, door key worked without any issues. The room was a fine size, well stocked, the decor was fine but in desperate need of a fresh paint job with a neutral color, bed and room temperature comfortable and complete with a fridge and microwave. The cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking- dirty old shower curtain and dust mixed with human hairs around the base of the toilet. The rooms are carpeted with multiple large stains throughout- not the best option for a pet friendly set up. I gated my pup off in the bathroom vanity area to avoid any further stains as I’m pretty sure it smelled like a giant toilet area to any canine. The grounds are messy and deteriorating, cement is crumbling and the paint is old and stained. The landscaping was uncared for with overgrown thorny bushes and blown over sunburned advertising flags. Anywhere you attempt to take your dog potty on the grounds is covered thorny weeds. There are long term residents with reactive dogs on the premises. Overall- I would not stay here again and was expecting something much better based on the other reviews- Either pay for a little better or go with a Motel 6.

This is a nice small town option. We stayed here to hike Kanarra Falls the next day and it worked out great! The drive was only about 1/2 hour. It was clean, well cared for and staff was friendly. It is a little old, but if you want a cheap and clean place to stay this is perfect.

This hotel had all the necessary conveniences. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the internet was fast, and the TV had all the programming. The bathroom was clean and the shower had plenty of strong hot water. The surrounding area was safe and quiet and walkable. I would stay here again.

We were very disappointed in this motel. I should have looked more closely at the comments, since the issues we faced were similar to other complaints. We didn’t have toilet paper - had to go to the desk to get it. We were told there would be coffee in the morning, but it wasn’t available until 9 a.m.! Plus they had discontinued serving even a minimal breakfast. DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5-STAR REVIEWS!

No phone, no clock, no coffee machine, no attendant, and best of all NO hot water. Very loud air-conditioning. We stayed here instead of Brian Head because they advertised breakfast. That was a Wednesday. They only have it on fri,sat,sun.

The Mountain View Lodge was accessible and easy to find. The information booklet regarding local restaurants needs to be updated. We were looking for a Mexican restaurant mention in the hotel book and at Jerseys Corner where we had dinner told us that Calvario's Family Restaurant had gone out of business some time age. The chairs are very heavy with no padding.

When I arrived I was greeted in a friendly manner, Thank you it's so nice after long hours on the road. However during the night the fire alarm went off a couple times, which set off car alarms. There was no hot water in the shower, there was a carpet square that looked like an animal had marked its territory and I paid for breakfast that was not set out. They did have a microwave that a I used to warm food I had with me.

It was a nice hotel for the money, a nice place to stay for the night. The room and property were in pretty good condition, and I could tell if they put a lot of TLC into the construction and upkeep for the property. Thank you for making us feel comfortable.

We knew ahead of time that we were going to be getting in late so called ahead for the late check-in procedure. It was easy! Unfortunately, when we got in our room, we discovered the A/C wasn't working so we called the late night emergency number and they got us switched to a room with working A/C. The A/C was a little loud, but it got the job done and the room was perfectly satisfactory. Nothing fancy, but it had a mini fridge and microwave. Basic complementary breakfast the next morning was good. Helpful staff!

The vanity had hair all over it from a man shaving. The hot tub was luke warm. The breakfast was grab and go food which I thought it was supposed to be a hot meal. Wrong. The staff was kind and friendly. Overall I would not recommend this place.

When I booked the hotel room online, I saw the description said breakfast is included. I did not notice the below saying grab and go breakfast provided only during weekends. Weekdays only coffee and muffins are provided starting at 9am so there is no actual free breakfast for us as we would start out earlier.

Property was fine for a night and was cheap but cleanliness was lacking. Pet hair everywhere in our room and the bathroom needed cleaning. Unfortunately the front desk was closed in the evening and didn’t reopen till 9 so we couldn’t speak to anyone about it. Breakfast only on weekends. Front desk staff were polite at check in.

The area and the place look pretty sketchy. There was a big pile of trash right next to our door when we arrived. There was pretty strong chemicals smell in our room. Our room had no view whatsoever - our window was pointing under the stair, so don't let the name of this place trick you. Hotel's conditionn in general was pretty run down. On plus side front desk people were nice. There is also pretty nice Thai restaurant there.
