On the whole it’s a good stay

Clean, modern, comfortable.

Quiet, clean and decent breakfast selection.

Quick stop over after coming off the ferry. All good. Great secure parking and easy route in and out from main routes.
Staff were excellent. Good breakfast.
4.0
We had a family room which had 2 bedrooms and slept 5, the room was large enough and well laid out for a family.
We only stayed one night prior to catching the Ferry the following morning, which was convenient being only a 15min drive and easy to navigate.
2.5
We have arrived late at night as came from night time ferry, the potter who welcomed us was very friendly. Room was nice and had separate bedroom for kids.
It was a very modern and clean room, although beds could be more comfortable as they seemed to be on a quite firm side. Very powerful shower was great, and really needed after a hot day out.
Despite very hot weather room was kept cool at nice temperature.
Breakfast was very nice, and had a lot of choice, so even our fussy little man found something to have.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Set in a residential area but very comfortable with a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend!

The hotel was old with small rooms, which was expected being an Ibis. However, the area is awfully.
Kids riding motorcycles, no helmets and balaclavas pulling wheelies in the street and on footpaths.
The area is not pleasant and I would say to be avoided especially at night.

we arrived on motorcycles and had booked this hotel because it had a restaurant as there are no other places within walking distance....however the restaurant was SHUT...so we had to resort to a very expensive pizza delivery...there was no indication on the booking that there was no food available

Kamer was schoon maar erg klein
2.0
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Breakfast had a good variety, the dinner menu was. Little light for choice but the food was good.
Room was clean, bathroom felt a bit tired.
2.0
Clean and comfortable stay with decent facilities.
5.0
Lovely family room with two inner rooms. Simple, small and functional.
2.0
Got the last room at the back of the house… where deliveries and bus parking is… so noise in the overall quiet area started at 7.
2.5
Close to ferry port which made it perfect for a night following a late crossing. Easy and plentiful on-site parking is great when arriving late. Great room for family of 5! Essentially one double room and a triple for the kids within one unit was ideal. Very good breakfast and friendly staff is always a big bonus. Will definitely stay here again.

Easy to find, and convenient for areas around Caen.
Great staff, food and very clean bedroom.

I had booked ibis meny time but this was the worst .
Taveld for 11 hours to be told we can use the restaurant becos they have a couch arriving and that took priority.so had to drive some more to find a burger place.
The room was dusty and smelt.
In all I think is has Gon down hill.
3.0
A functional hotel - clean and close to the port with easy access. The restaurant is only open Monday - Thursday which was really inconvenient. We would stay again if we needed a late night arrival and early departure.

Very good breakfast

A good choice of place to stay before taking a ferry from Caen. Left early so can't comment on breakfast but the bed was comfy.
1.5
The hotel was acceptable for a one night stay, but unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't available. Otherwise, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the bed was comfortable.

Stayed there last month and was very comfortable then as it was this time. Lovely breakfast that was available from 06:30 to 12 midday. Wonderful

Perfect for a place to stay when catching an early ferry.

We had booked this hotel for one night after the Portsmouth ferry crossing which arrived at 9.30pm. It was not too far to drive and reception was open when we arrived...always a bonus I feel. I had read other reviews and the main concern was finding the hotel; definitely agree with that! You would be hard pushed to access it, certainly in the dark, without a satnav!!! Parking was secure although when we arrived it didn't look like it....had to ask how to get into the car park. However, all was well! The welcome was really great and they had provided a room on the ground floor as I requested [husband on crutches due to recent knee replacement]. The bar and restaurant looked busy and welcoming but we were tired and so went straight to our room. This was fine, if a little 'compact', but bed was comfy. Disappointing that there were no tea/coffee making facilities but there was access to same in the restaurant. Everything was acceptable for an overnight stay, but I felt value for money was left wanting, for a similar price we stayed in Ouistreham on our return in a more upmarket hotel.

Parking on local streets was not easy. Had to park at metered spaces during day. Hotel restaurant was best in area. Had an excellent waiter too.

This was a ‘second best’ selection as our regular hotel for our ferry arrival from UK was fully booked. The hotel was a little difficult to find in the dark due to not being on our car sat nav’s hotel options, however ‘via Michelin’ came to the rescue. Reception staff great, locked parking great and certainly now found will always be our reserve hotel. Clean, if a little tired, and quiet.

Stayed in a family room, which was really fabulous! Room was spacious, spotless and decor was very modern. Reception staff on arrival, late in the evening, a lady and an American man were charming and chatty, lady on in the mornings was not so pleasant. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Easy to get to. Staff were friendly and efficient, and spoke English and German.

We stayed here en route from Paris to Normandy - very clean and comfortable room. Locked parking lot. 24 hour front desk. Close to grocery store / market complex.

Ok location, good safe parking and internet. They could not find my reservation and made pay an other 132 Euros for a room I already paid for.
Terrible customer service.. 132 for staying there for less than 8 hours. Did not try to find a solution or help me in any way.

Arrived late after a long drive, courteous reception and the chance to eat or drink all offered. We declined the food but took a welcome 'refresher' up to the room. The room was clean and neatly decorated. Could have been a bit warmer but we fixed that with turning up the radiator. Bathroom adequate and clean. A hand towel as well as bath towels would have been good. We had to leave before breakfast to catch a ferry day sailing so can't comment on that

The hotel is basic & clean. The restaurant, which offers a limited menu, closed on the Friday evening & there is nothing on offer close by so you have a fair walk or have to drive to get any food, they also closed the restaurant early one night & a couple who arrived late had to go out for food so possibly unreliable. The receptionist was great & very helpful.
1.5
This was a repeat stay at this hotel but we were disappointed this time. Dinning room was closed for dinner with no useful advice about where we might eat on a Sunday evening. Breakfast cereals were Co-co pops or nothing! The only TV channel we would watch (29) was not working fully. We were bitten during the night by what we believe were bed bugs.
2.0
Clearly a budget hotel but a very good one. Fast check in. Easy breakfast system
2.5
Staff very friendly and have us a room to keep the bikes in.
