I tried to call with a late check in due to working in that area after traveling from Phoenix to lake havasu and then to stay here. Noone answered at the dook. I pressed the ring button 2x and finally the guy who answered told me they were closed at 430am. Mind you i reserved the room days agead.... i need a refund!!!

This was once a favorite place of ours but it is now run down and unsafe. An unknown person unlocked our door and tried to enter our room at 6 AM. The security chain and our yelling stopped her. She yelled: " Sorry, I thought it was my room." How is it possible that another guest has a key that unlocks our door? I asked that question and was told that management would call me. That has not happened. There is also a lack of maintainence and clean up.
Trash piles and overflowing garbage cans are scattered around.
The former owners kept the facility worthy of its Historic Designation and a delightful place to stay. I hope the new owners can resolve the safety issues and restore the property condition. It is scary to stay there now, not knowing who has a key to your room and when they will use it.

For the price and location this is a good choice. The room was clean and large however the towels were not great quality and very small. Breakfast was sufficient nothing exciting but was good to have the option to pick something up. Bedding was nice quality and very clean but pillows were too small and soft. The room was a bit dated and worn, the brown carpet does put you off slightly We didn't have the best night sleep as the room next door had their tv on until 3am and then had a major fight in the room and in the parking lot but that's not the hotels fault.

Fun place! We had a 1 bed apt, it was awesome! Dates property but that’s what it should be, very cool & historical! Walking distance to everything! Close to Mexico for a day trip too! Towels were a bit threadbare, but hot shower, nice bedding & quiet!

Noisiest place I ever stayed. Between the racing cars, motorcycles and Fire dept. the toilet started making a dripping noise in the middle of the night. The traffic quieted down at 2am only to be awakened by next door yelling at 530am. Woke up to several transients at or near the motel.

Great accommodations, comfort and customer service

This motel looks nothing like this photo and in fact we could not and did not stay there. My norm is to not write bad reviews and if you look at my history you will see only positive reviews. I checked in and the clerk led us to the room. She came out with what appeared to be garbage. We then made a decision not to stay and I asked the clerk if she was going to delete the booking and she said yes..I had made the reservation with a visa ending in 9359 and there was a 50.00 pending that was removed a couple of days later. I checked my other card an there was a charge of 82.59 the cost of the room. that posted 3 days later. I spoke with hotels .com.and was told I would get an E mail from the hotel customer service and that has not happened. I book through Hotels .com and I have 5 future bookings. I expect great service from you and would like you to fix this problem.

Well I prepaid online for a room, only to be told that house cleaning was just finishing up and would only be 5mins.So I leave and go pick up something to eat.45mins later I pull up in front of my room and house cleaning is still in my room? She was just then finishing up?The room very out dated very very small, and barely enough room to actually move freely with all the furniture they had. A window ac that was to small for the room, clogged ac filter.Took forever to cool off the room.Bed was a double sized just barely enough room for two adults. No it wasnt worth the $90.Not after going through and seeing all the other rooms they had that weren't occupied.

We ended up leaving and getting another room at another hotel. We needed the to get ready fast so we wouldn't be late for our event. The room wasn't ready even though it was after 4pm.

Everyone was nice and helpful. The noise is something out of their control because there is a fire station across the street that got frequent calls at all hours. The room that we were in had a door that didn’t close properly. It was a struggle to close it from the out side. There was a gap towards the bottom that let giant bugs in. Also, luckily I brought my own hair dryer because the one attached to the wall wouldn’t stay on. Very few people staying at the Motel at that time so I should have requested a different room but was too tired from the drive.

older hotel but very clean easy to access and walkable to town staff was excellent

Positives were the breakfast, historical significance, and location. Negatives are it’s generally rundown with a lack of maintenance on the grounds and pool. Cleanliness and upkeep of rooms way sub par, including non operable security safe which we reported and was not repaired.

Overall all was clean. My only concerns were 1) cockroach in bathroom and 2) had to flush stool 2-3 times.

Rooms are very dirty and old especially the restrooms. I tried using the jacuzzi and black things came out of it I wasn't sure what it was the walls are all beat up the toilets aren't placed right. POOLS ARE super dirty and they have no lights at night. I would never stay here again. Lady atbthe front office was great besides that hotel wasn't worth staying in at all. Definitely not worth the price for sure.

Don't be deceived by the positive reviews. The room we were put in was so dingy and gross, the ac didn't work very well. There were flies in the room. We were put as far away from the office as possible right on the side of the street where the transients sit and watch you and wait for you to not be paying attention. I felt so very unsafe and uncomfortable to sleep in. The "jacuzzi tub" that was in our room looked like it had not been clean since it was installed. Just beware if you're staying here. Don't go alone. always be aware of your surrounding and don't expect a nice, clean room.

Not good. Property is really run down. We had to put ice on the beds so we could cool down and sleep. Bar/restaurant closed early for some reason. Pool restrooms were filthy.

This was our 4th trip back to the Historic Coronado Motor Hotel. Once again, it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean spacious. The food of the restaurant was almost as amazing as the service there…Top-notch!! We will definitely be back

Lovely historic gem of a place in Yuma. So glad we found it. Great helpful staff. Chad and Nancy were great with us. Very good free full cooked breakfast at the restaurant a few steps away. Loved the pool. Would definitely stay again and again when in Yuma.

I continue to really like this place. I know that there are more "up to date" accommodations available, but for as long as i am able to, i will stay here. The Hotel drips history and with a little imagination, you can still see the old cars, hear the swish of the ladies dresses and the sound of the gentlemen Snapping thier cufflinks into place. Give them a try, i think you may enjoy it for a good place to rest your head.
On a more realistic note, we had a slight issue with something on this visit, and it ended up being addressed quickly, professionally and definitely to the level that gaurantees another return trip by me in the future. Book a room with them, don't let another relic of the past dissapear just because of a few rough edges. I will happily stay here for many years to come.

Surprisingly good considering the cost and older style. In fact, I was most impressed when I realized there’s actually a second bedroom lol. I had no idea until the day I left. I just thought the door was hiding a closet or something. Turns out there’s a whole Nother bedroom in there! That means it’s an even better deal for those. Looking forward to separate bedrooms in their hotel room. Interesting place actually. It’s set up in four different buildings on both sides of the street, with a restaurant right next to one of the buildings that is pretty much the Kingpin for the area. Nothing against the hotel, but that restaurant has the slowest service in the history of all things service based. Anyways, amenities at the hotel were just fine. Again, for the price this was quite a good deal. They even have their own Resident cat who will come by and check on you . Super cool guy. Don’t know his name, but he’s a black-and-white tomcat, with the best personality. Very easy-going.

Staff was very helpful when needed. The property is dirty, and the pool area was also very dirty. You also do not have any cushions to sit on or lay on by the pool. The table and chairs outside of the rooms were covered in bird poop, so you couldn't sit out and enjoy the night. Need to up your property cleaning.

It was cool to stay in such a historical motel and the great restaurant next door being the location of the first airplane landing in Arizona.
Will definitely stay here again. We love and seek out the old motor lodges, no 2nd floor for us!

The hotel is old, the bed sheets were too small, there was dirt and hair in the bed. The toilet did not flush, one of the locks on the door did not work and the other was falling off the wall.

Comfortable beds. Plenty of HOT water. Old but clean. Enjoyed the breakfast at the nearby restaurant. Easy access to the interstate. My third stay and probably not my last.

Also enjoy staying at this hotel as we have family in town that can not accommodate us.
