Amazing stay! The staff all around gave excellent service! Only comparison I have is the Ritz, and I feel ZaZa’s attention to detail was superior! We will certainly be back to stay here!

Upon checking, the front desk wouldn’t check me in unless my husband was there, the reservation was under his name, even though we have the same last name.
The hotel is in need of renovation for sure. The carpets look dirty and old. The room was ok, but definitely past its prime. Valet staff were very nice and attentive.

The hotel and lounge were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and we used the shuttle twice. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that there was a lot of noise in the hallways in the morning- the doors slam loudly.

Great service. True full service hotel.

Other than dim lighting everywhere it’s a fine stay in Houston - close to the Museum district. Friendly, lots of attention and help.

Staff was very helpful but this being our first time my wife and I didn’t know what to expect but heard it was great hotel. For the price we spent the room was very basic but the very kind receptionist upgraded our room when we spoke to her. The new room was a suite but again very basic, A/C did not work at all, shower did not drain the water so we showered with water up to our ankles. Live and learn but unfortunately would not recommend.

I have mixed reviews because I love Zaza hotels but there are a few issues with this location. The room I booked was small with rolled, old carpet and outdated furniture but the lobby was very nice. The service and hospitality was great everywhere except the bar. I had to flagged down the bartenders any time I needed something and felt like they really didn’t want to be there. It wasn’t busy and several people were having to wave and beg for attention. I still would return because I love the hotel line but will probably dine and drink elsewhere.

The room was very warm no matter what temperature we set the ac too

The hotel itself has a great Vibe and as part of the museum district has great art. Front desk support is lacking tremendously. The restaurant is also lacking tremendously. It is overpriced and the food is mediocre. They do up charges on your drinks without telling you. Not cool.

Always a nice comfortable stay at the ZAZA.

Great facility but our room was not very much sound proof, so we have heard the noise from the room next door.

Bed,pillows, and sheets were very comfortable. Room was quiet other than a few ambulances at night. I was bothered by the nightly knocking on the door by hotel staff to give out “free cocktails”. I just wanted to sleep in peace. My baby was also asleep. The front desk staff, valet, and bellman were very helpful in getting all my items in and out of my car. I wish there was a quicker continental style breakfast offered. Good proximity to museums and attractions.

There was a musty smell to
The rooms. Otherwise they were very comfortable , beds and towels very nice. The free coffee in am could have been greatly enhanced had you had some pastry or croissant available. At least on weekends.we enjoyed our stay .

The room advertised & the room received were not the same. Got moved to another room that was so dark. It was nicely decorated, but so dirty. Larger space, AC was broken and it stayed at 76° in the room for the first night. By the highway, felt loud and like the door wasn’t closing correctly so a little dirty. Next day we get moved to the amazing suite I paid for. Although it was good, it was dirty, robes smelt like smoke, and bathroom was dirty. Got my truck from valet only for part of my windsheild to be cracked. The manager on site couldn’t help, the general manager didn’t help either. Blamed me for the damage but the vehicle’s tag said no prior damage. It’s a ford. I would know if my windshield was cracked before my arrival. Waiting for claims to get back to me. The in room dining menu is limited and they prohibit outside food. Weird for anyone who may have allergies to do such a thing but oh well. The property manager left a nice bottle of champagne for the room switch issue, that’s great but I’m sober and paid way too much for the hell of a trip I had. I won’t be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at ZaZa . My daughter, teenage granddaughters and I had a fun girl’s weekend shopping and attending a concert. Loved the morning Butler’s Pantry on each floor from 6-10 am where we could get fresh, great coffee and light snacks!

It was amazing, we were delayed a couple of hours for access to our room but they made up for it by credits at dinner.

This hotel manages to be crazy stylish and wonderfully comfortable at the same time. Great location between the three biggest museums, the sculpture garden, and Hermann Park. Every staff member was outstanding.

When I first came to the room, the whole desk that was along a big window was covered with water. There were several spots on the carpet saturated with water as well. Called the front desk and explained the whole situation and offered to transfer me to the other available room. The new room smelled moldy and the customer representative suggested that it might be from the AC. I told him that I rather be in my old room so we have moved back. The housekeeper wiped the desk and replaced the catalogs that were sutured with water. After a shower, I have walked to the desk and the carpet around desk was socked wet. Ive tried to place the bath towels so my feet wouldn’t get wet but I’ve noticed that the carped was progressively getting more saturated with water. I called the front desk and they have moved me to the stinky room. Since it was 10 pm, I was tired and needed to sleep so i gave up. I have turned the fan off so the smelly air wasn’t circulating. It was kinda stressful experience. No one call me from the office/front desk to follow up.

Overpriced. Basic rooms could’ve went somewhere else for the same experience. The spa was decent but still overpriced and there was a huge dead roach in the spa bathroom.
