I expected more from here. The hotel was clean, spacious and didn’t have those nasty carpets. However, The automatic lights were terrible. Especially at night when you use the restroom and then want to wash your hands. It just automatically turns on waking everyone up. That was annoying. Also, the food was blah. The coffee was good and the dispenser was pretty cool. Also, there was a fee for parking. But the hotel says they are not responsible for the car or damage. So then what is the point of the parking fee? I would probably return if I didn’t find anything else.

David at the front desk was fabulous! He was so helpful as we were traveling with our adult special needs son. He ensured our needs were met. The check-in staff was great. Breakfast was blah. The eggs were cold AND runny, sausage was overzapped by the microwave. They should keep a microwave in the dining area just for the eggs. The bathroom lighting was poor, not the best place to do your makeup for an important event, OH!! They have a motion sensor light by the wet bar which faces the beds. The light would automatically turn on even though NO ONE was moving. It was impossible to sleep because it would turn on bright and shine on our faces and wake us up all night!! That was a bummer. We called the front desk and they said that everyone complains about it.

Place very clean! Bed comfortable, good breakfast. I went to hotel for jacuzzi but not happy jacuzzi was OUT of order and the Tv did not work ! They need fix jacuzzi or give customers a discount for malfunction.

We stayed a week and we could look forward to a hot breakfast each morning of scrambled eggs and waffles before heading out for the day. Love the beach vibe of the hotel and it was very clean.

We booked 3 rooms and were told only 2 were available even though I had just called and confirmed all 3 rooms. The Fajardo Family had to pack 5 people into one room with just a king and a pull out couch. I have tried calling the hotel all week and have not been able to get ahold of anyone.

Convenient walk to the Warf and Boardwalk. The room waa clean. Being on the first floor was a little noisy once breakfast started.

I was placed in a room with an unlatching door, and the ice machine right outside my door. It was the loudest place I've ever stayed. As well as the beds were like sleeping on cement. At night I went to go use hot tub and kind you I'm handicapped using a cane to only walk by front desk for the two staff members talking badly about guests and not even warn me hot tub was out of order. Overall would never stay again.

Then pool was out of order. They charged me for parking and early check in when it was 15 minutes before my check in and I told them I would wait.

I didn't like that I informed the staff multiple times that our shower drain was clogged, I stayed with my family for 4 nights they didn't send anyone to try and fix the issue until the 3rd day, promised they would get me and family into a different room and never did. The staff said they made note of the issue. Which they never did because I tried to check out a day early and see if they would comp a nights stay or refund me a night but they told Expedia I never made the issue known to them when I did the 2 nd day we were there. Just empty promises from the lady at the front desk. Told me I would have to reach out to Expedia for the refund since I book through Expedia. All Expedia did was give me $50 wanks bucks for my next booking

The hotel itself was okay. We had to switch rooms three times, the first two rooms we walked in on the house keepers still cleaning the room and they were not the friendliest at all.
After going back and forth between rooms, we finally were able to get into a room. The room looked fine at first until walking into the bathroom…
There was long clumps of brown hair in the shower and sink, someone’s used contacts on the floor, and to top it off the towels had blood on them.
Then after all the waiting and moving around a hot tub sounded the best, until we got in and it was freezing cold urggg!!!!
Was not very impressed with the cleanliness aspect of the hotel. The best thing the hotel has is Samantha at the front desk! She was really nice and very helpful. She did her best to help us and was so understanding about everything.

Overpriced!! Had a room off the atrium. Loud music playing overhead by the hotel. Had to ask the front desk clerk to turn it off. We paid $400 for a hotel that wasnt worth 200

It was clean, well managed, ok rates for the area and we really enjoyed our stay. The complementary breakfast was good, my kids loved it. Overall we were very happy with our stay. We will consider staying again our next trip.

It just a great spot, the breakfast, the service, the conveince. Beware of the parking though. That parking garage they use is roughhhh if you’re not back early enough. The spots are like meant for a motorcycle

Staff was great. They had great breakfast choices and when asked to clean room or needed supplies they were on it and probably handled. The only thing that I didn't like was the parking. We showed up at 11pm the next day and had to park on the street. Other than that we will go again. Its a 3 minute drive from boardwalk.

The hotel was on a main street in Santa Cruz Ca. The parking was located in an underground garage that was RIDICULOUS! I as well as others consider myself a skilled driver, but literally felt STRESSED& OVERWHELMED with having to oaring in there due to the poor design and narrow spacing they left for parking. I had to crawl over my seat to be able to get out of the door on the otherside because of close the cars are together. One of our rooms, room 119 didn't even have a shower curtain on it& when we asked gor one they brought it for us to put on ourselves. There was also a lot of noise from a group who was partying with a handful of small children and the security guard did nothing when we spoke to him at aboutb10:30, it continued til about 1:30 amexpected some noise and activity, but that was ridiculous especially when you are staying at an establishment with a good reputation like Best Western usually does. I was very disappointed with our stay there.

Room smelled like something died in it the entire time we were there. The AC was weak. The bathroom was filled with mold stains behind the bathroom door and a huge mold stains above the shower head. Poor room circulation, the air felt very dry.

If you are looking for a place to just quickly spend the night this is fine. However, I had multiple issues with cleanliness. The first day we arrived the bathroom had random hairs and water all over the floor. When asked to clean it, house cleaning couldn’t come until the next day. The duvet cover had old dried up blood on it as well. The ac worked and the location was great but I wouldn’t come back.

Visited June 28th-30th. Booked online through Expedia, traveling with our kids & specifically asked for rooms next to each other. The location messaged & said no problem. This trip was extra special since I survived a scary event with my heart (I am now wearing a heart monitor) & it was my Son's 10th birthday. When we arrived they did not have rooms for us the staff was scrambling to find rooms. Which tells me the hotel was overbooked. The Operations Manager came to "help" & double charged my bank card tieing up my money for the weekend. Another customer came while we were checking in & complained about a backup in the bathroom of one of the rooms. Then they "found" two rooms for us on the 2nd floor, but the rooms were a door away from each other. We were tired & traveling with 4 kids so we took the rooms. We noticed a faint smell, unloaded and went to eat. Came back & the sewage smell was horrible in the hall & in our rooms. So bad my 10 year old started throwing up. It smelled like sulfur & rotten eggs. People from the other side of the floor were advocating for us when we were asking & then demanding to be moved. The other guests felt so bad they bought my Son gingerale to help settle his stomach. We were finally given rooms down the hall & around the corner from each other on another floor. By that time it was well after 12am & our kids were tired, cranky, & not feeling well. One of our new rooms was dirty - sand in the bed, body hair in the tub, dirty floor.

They need better TV programming. They wouldn’t let you check in until 15 minutes early. on Friday it smelled like sewage in the hallways on the second floor was terrible all day long

Checked in and the shower was not clean, there was a random sock from previous people. Housekeepers probably just made the beds and put new towels out. I had to use my own cleaning supplies to make it liveable. The following day, Housekeeping was requested and they never came by. Had to ask for clean towels and then toilet paper. Horrible experience.

Parking scary and the door lock for room 321 needs replaced, changed key cards 3x, door misaligned from frame.

Very nice place, it looked like it was recently remodeled. The breakfast in the morning was great. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly.
