Please note they will charge you extra 90 euros for tax when you check out.

Booked and paid for 2 rooms our friend got a nice sized room with balcony our room was small room with frosted glass. I complained and with some battle and arguing I got a better one but still a smaller and with tainted glass. I explained to the staff that I had paid for the rooms so of course I expected same type of rooms.

Experience was very pleasant… Hotel were very helpful and friendly.

Napolean was ok overall but showers are way too small!! If one is over 90kg or 175cm good luck with the shower!!

My wife and i were very impressed. The service, how clean everything was,an amazing breakfest and the counter staff were so friendly and accomodating. Just a great place to stay. Highly recomended...
4.3
The rooms were large and comfortable. The desk staff were very helpful for getting to placing finding restaurants points of interest etc.
the location was close walk to the coliseum terminal station for hop on hop off bus and a major basilica. Park across the street had a nice festival on end of our stay.
The hotel had a nice little bar that was quiet and help. The two bar tenders were great and friendly.
4.3
We stayed comfortably even though very old building but they renovated and kept very well. Metro station is near.
Especially, breakfast was remarkable and fantastic.
4.3
This is a cute boutique style hotel. I found the staff to be very kind especially Marco. This is an excellent choice for a budget friendly hotel. There is a metro stop right out the front door which was great for me! I was able to get to most things on Metro or with combination of bus. One of the most famous gelato places is a few blocks away. The breakfast was plentiful. I found the experience to be charming! The staff helped me with everything I asked. It's not a corporate so expect more of a bed/ breakfast - small hotel feel. Only the coliseum is nearby and while they say it's walking distance - I took the metro.
4.3
Overall good place to stay - located conveniently
Price is fair and service including breakfast were great

Check-in was great! Stephano was answered all of our questions, took care of our bags and gave us some recommendations on where to eat and how to move through the city. The room was spacious. I know it's a European hotel, but we slept four quite comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Plus breakfast was a nice spread of food for only 12 euro per person.

We have stayed in Rome many times but never in this neighborhood. Staying here gave us the opportunity to discover a new to us neighborhood. The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was abundant, and the room was comfortable. It is located righjt across from a park.
4.3
The property is old but they keep it very clean, also the metro so close makes it very convenient.
The customer service is very good.
4.3
The staff were extraordinary. They went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed: a cab, directions and even printing out a document I needed for an excursion.
4.3
This hotel was perfectly located near the metro stop making it easy to get around Rome and return. Breakfast was wonderful and located right next to the Gatsby cafe! Rooms were small but they were clean and had all the amenities!
4.3
Excellent breakfast and front desk service
4.3
Our stay at Hotel Napoleon was great. It was in a good location, within walking distance of the train, lots of restaurants and shops, as well as the Colosseum. The breakfast was great, we were happy to have that before setting out on our day.
4.3
They charge for every person, you have to have a bed for every person age 5 and above
4.3
Great hotel. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Walkable distance to some attractions.
4.3
Hard uncomfortable beds, dirty bathroom, found hair, nail clippings, mold in the shower, no hot water into the evening, no water period after midnight.
4.3
Lighting and carpeting throughout the hotel/rooms is dingy and cheap. Room amenities and decor are very outdated.
Parking is a nightmare. Other than the hotel's close proximity to the park and several other sightseeing locations, the hotel has little, if anything, to offer. In my opinion, very overpriced.
4.3
Metro right outside the property. Nice park across the street. Good breakfast, nice room.
4.3
Front desk staff was very helpful.
4.3
Good location, walking distance to Colosseum and train station. Metro is just outside the hotel door. Reception staff is very attentive, caring and responsive.
4.3
Not the best area for touring

Everything great

This was the last hotel we stayed in after visiting Venice and Florence, and it was definitely the nicest budget friendly hotel we stayed in. Walking distance to the Colloseum and Forum, Spanish steps, etc.. you’ll need a cab to reach Pantheon and the Vatican. The included breakfast was good, with an assortment of pastries, cold cuts, bread, cereal, juices, and coffee(view nespresso machine). The room itself was good, but like most Italian rooms, the AC does not go lower than 25c. There’s a tiny elevator to get you up to your room, but you’ll normally have to walk up several stairs acrosa their lobbies to get to your room. The only thing I didn’t like about booking through Hotels.com is that we still had to pay over 100 euros out of pocket during checkout as part of some tourist fee. Kind of a downer to have such a large amount surprise us at the end of our trip.
4.3
Excellent service , clean and cozy hotel , also very convenient and safe area.
4.3
Nice hotel although our room smelt like cigarettes. Nice selection for breakfast. Was very quiet we were not interrupted by other people in the hotel despite being next to the lift.
4.3
Properties is a bit further from old town part of Rome and the closer Metro was closed but otherwise exactly what I would have expected
4.3
Great location, spacious and clean room
4.3
We appreciated being able to have a family room with 3 beds. The room was nice and perfect for our needs. There is a park across the street that had groups that would have group exercise (a Chinese dance, sword dancing and Tai Chi) it was quiet and had several good restaurants within walking distance. They had breakfast every morning that was varied and delicious.
4.3
Good Breakfast and restaurant offerings and staff
4.3
The Napoleon hotel is a very good place to stay. The surrounds of the hotel are very good with an excellent park just across the road. There are a number of restaurants and cafes close by. It is one metro stop or two tram stops from termini. It is about a 15 minute easy walk to the Colliseum etc. As is often the case in Italy, the rooms are fairly small and the lifts even smaller. The cleaning staff were excellent. There were several small problems which were quickly fixed, although the room safe never did work. We would stay there again.
4.3
We were in the middle of everything. It was conveniently located. It was clean & the staff & service was excellent!
4.3
Property was exactly as described and fit the family perfectly. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful.
4.3
the wonderful ratings were misleading to us at least - not even 3 star place - which we would normally not stay at - staff was fine
4.3
The hotel was conveniently located and staff was very helpful and friendly
4.3
Within a reasonable walking distance to main train station, excellent breakfast options.
4.3
Air conditioning did not work properly
Tub was slippery

Had a wonderful experience staying at Napoleon Hotel. The staff was friendly and the hotel is in a great area with bars and restaurants near by. I highly recommend the wine bar right next door! The rooms are simple and the bathroom had an odd layout but overall, our stay was pleasant.
