Always a great time at the Platinum. The rooms are amazing. Staff is friendly. Family/pet friendly. Our go to for Vegas.

Platinum Hotel was a very nice hotel years ago. You can tell that it’s in need of an upgrade. We decided to splurge on a room with a view of the sphere and washer/dryer in the unit. But there were so many things wrong that the housekeeping staff should have caught!
1. Ice maker in the fridge wasn’t working, and no ice machines in the hotel. So I had to run to the gas station next door for a bag of ice.
2. All the lights in the windowless bathroom were burned out, so the bathroom was pitch black unless you left a door open. Ick!
3. No detergent was provided for the washing machine. Back to gas station!
4. No Dishwashing liquid or dishwasher liquid provided , even though it had a small dishwasher. I refused to go back to the gas station for a 3rd time!
5. Crushed potato chips underneath the coffee table from a previous guest. Ick! Should have been easy to clean up if anyone was paying attention.
6. Lastly, not a great location. Scary people hang out outside the hotel. When we arrived, there was a mentally challenged person standing outside yelling obscenities. Very scary.
Overall, the Platinum hotel is way overpriced. Not staying there again.

Some issues:
Checkin line was long and only 1 person. Took long tome.
Room key stopped working. Had to go get a new one.
Shower only cold water.

Every employee we encountered was friendly, courteous, respectful and professional. I’ve never been treated better than I was at The Platinum. I’ll stay here every time I visit Vegas.

If you’re looking for a budget friendly hotel that still checks all your boxes for exceptional service and comfortable stay, this is the place to book, Rooms are spacious; felt like my fiancé were staying in entire 1bdrm apartment. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine during check in (Thanks Tim!). Quiet location and there’s a good amount of convenient locations (Tuscany Inn, Ellis Island, gas station around the corner, etc). You’re about a 10 min walk to the strip. What more can you ask? Oh! Covered parking is free and if you have any pets, there is a maintainable pet relief area nearby. I would 10000/10 recommend and stay here again.

Great suite with full kitchen. The problem is, the kitchen was not stocked with simple items like a skillet and no salt or pepper. The kitchen needs more stuff. We also set off the fire alarm cooking bacon in a pot. Great service though. Awesome staff and location!

What a wonderdul hideaway. This hotel is about 2 blocks from the Las Vegas strip. Free parking, rooms are super spacious with a full kitchen (even an oven and stove top). Indoor and outdoor temperature controlled pool and two restaurants. They have a 24 hour gym. The only negative is the pool is only open 9am-9pm. I know thats 12 hours but i would have loved to just sit by the pool during the late night hours. 7-11 is next door if you need coffee and snacks but snacks are available for purchase in the lobby.

Shaniya greeted us with a smile, professionalism and knowledge. She definitely made us feel welcome and every time we came and left she wished us well. If every hotel in Vegas had a ‘Shaniya’ at the front desk oh, what a great place it would be. Housekeeping was amazing too.

My only option when visiting Las Vegas the last 3 years. Never fails to be a safe space when trying to get a way from buzzing, LAS VEGAS NEVADA!

The Platinum was great.
Hotels.com charged us an initial payment, which the hotel had no record of. Getting ahold of an actual person at Hotels.com was impossible. The “virtual help chat” was useless.

Large suite with kitchen, washer and dryer in unit. Off strip but walking distance. Good for show at Sphere

Size of rooms were awesome and comfortable beds. Not having bar/drink service at the pool, no bar service in hotel until 4pm, a small pool with little/no ability for breeze to occur was a bummer.
