We loved everything about our stay at Cape Cod Irish Village. Especially the staff in the dining room!

the place was decent for the price and for a same day reservation.
1.0 / 10.0
Rooms are old and musty. My room was also bottom floor and 1/4 mile walk from the lobby. There is no accessible power outlets in the bedroom and had to charge my phone in the bathroom. Bartending staff was mostly unavailable, and one inexperienced bartender named Fotios was serving during the afternoon. He was mostly absent from behind the bar and did not know how to make drinks. Other bartenders and customers openly complained about him and said how he was bad and unskilled. Also he would not give back any change when paying tips and kept the cash without giving change. Place generally seems like a private social club for regulars versus a resort for the general public.

We stayed on the first floor room was in the 140’s. Bare minimum in the room. No phone and no alarm clock. The sliding door lock did not work-
Door only locked if placed the bar on the door. Coffee maker in the bathroom. The room door and bathroom door would get stuck and only shut if you slammed them shut- I’m sure our neighbors appreciated it. Walls are paper thin could hear people talking/ walking the hallways late at night. I’ve stayed here before on the second floor other part of the hotel and was better experience.
6.0 / 10.0
The property was not updated but it was not terrible. There was no elevator to the second floor and the check in ladies were not particularly friendly. The pools were nice but not very kid friendly. We often felt that we were an inconvenience. No jumping, no splashing and lots of gym members using the facilities.
One particular issue I had was that my room didn't have an inside lock for extra safety.

Outdated no phone in room broken tiles in the bathroom would never go back
6.0 / 10.0
The hotel is definitely dated and the rooms need repairs/renovations, however our room was super clean and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were great but there were never any pool towels available. I would stay there again due to the convenience of location and pool access for my children

Lobby was nice but hallways near rooms were very worn. Room felt damp and was very musty. Restaurant food was ok at best.

Loved staying here. Very private.

Older hotel, a bit run down, security issues (back doors open late night - anyone can walk in) ok service staff, fairly clean.

Dirty rooms, wet floors ( very humid) But facilities are good

The A/C was very old and blew warm air. Water stains on ceiling. Halls smelled like moldy wet rugs. Property is very tired but right across the street from the melody tent so convenient if attending a concert.

We felt it was pricey for wha try we get

Memories we have been going to location for years when it had several different owners. Our children were young so we went almost every year.
4.0 / 10.0
I’ll start with the few positives: plenty of parking, Walkable to a beach, large rooms, large indoor pool, decent outdoor pool, hot tub and lots of lounge chairs around both pools. Negatives (lots): old, dirty, shower covered in black mood, tiles coming loose. Rust stains, stains on bedspread, lamp. Hallway carpet will make you vomit. Restaurant breakfast is horrible. Dinner was acceptable. No phone in the room. Total party destination for young and old - smoking and drinking outside the room, loud music, etc. staff were nice enough to give us a new room which was much quieter. Place needs a complete interior reno.

Really nice!

The hotel was perfect. Great location to food, entertainment, shopping and the beach. The room was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable.
There was a golf course, but we didn’t use it. The pool was enjoyable. There was a bar and restaurant onsite if you wanted to eat in.
The balcony was nice to sit out on to enjoy while having a cup of coffee.

Stayed for a dance competition so the hotel was extremely convenient. The pool was fun and clean and wait staff outside was wonderful. We enjoyed the inside dining as well and loved that it was close to Main St for shopping and food. The desk and housekeeping staff were always friendly and helpful.
The hotel is definitely outdated. There is no elevator to get to the second floor rooms, the rooms are sub par and the hallways are a tad smelly. Overall, it was not a bad stay and the convenience out weighs any negatives.

The toilet seat is to short, abd its made for women. Men dont like round toilet seats. If you get my drift. There was a bug in my bed.

The Front Check-in, Restaurant, waiters, waitresses and Support staff were very good and courteous.
Not enough wash cloths were given with the amount of people in a room.
Television needed reprogrammed to work.
A bathroom clog caused by a careless guest was handled by the staff as well as could be expected.
A lower wing was flooded because of the guest stupidity.
A free dinner (3) at the on site hotel Restaurant was given as a courtesy. This was appreciated and the food was very good!!!
We were then moved to another section of the hotel immediately by the Front Check-in staff.
Again very well handled under the circumstance.

We spent the great time on the 4 th of July. The Irish Village is not far from Main Street , Kalmus Beach. We liked the swimming pools inside and outside. After noise in New York we were in paradise!!!!

The rooms are not clean- my pillow cases were dirty, floors had a lot of debris, bathrooms faucets and knobs hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. The shower curtains smelled like mildew. We’re from California and haven’t adjusted to the 3-hr time difference so we’ve been sleeping in and it annoyed the cleaning lady, she was pretty rude about it. The hotel is definitely older, which doesn’t bother, me but it needs to be cleaned better.

Our room had lots of water damage. Very mildewy. Coffee pot was gross. The beds were terrible! The only staff that talked to us was the lady that check us in. We saw other staff...no smiles, no eye contact. We were only here to sleep and shower. We didn't use any of the amenities.

Although we had to wait until 4:00 to get our room we do understand that they had a very busy weekend and had numerous rooms to make up. An email or a text would have been most helpful to let us know of the delay

All good

We got there right at check in time, we had booked two rooms next to one another, one was ready the other was not. Front desk had us bring our bags to the ready room, my and daughter got that room all setup for them. My son and I walked back to the front desk and waited, the lady at the front desk (who was alone and busy) kept asking housekeeping what the status was on the room with no answer. After about 20 mins of radio silence she offered another set of rooms on the first floor (we were on the 2nd) which would mean we would have to move rooms after the girls were all unpacked and relaxing. WiFi was nonexistent. Key cards kept demagnetizing. I was told by the staff “any electronic will demagnetize these”, which in todays world is bad. Maintenance man, who we did not call, entered our room at 830 at night, knocked once and entered.
The area is in disrepair, carpets are torn, floor is warping in the hallways prices for food and drinks were outrageous. Outdoor pool is closed at 6pm. Indoor pool is heated and heavily chlorinated. Front desk staff were nice, but any other staff member were unfriendly.
For the price we paid, I expected better. We left a day early.

There was group of kids running around and knocking on the doors late night

Great hotel but would like to see more variety of food.

Bedding had blood on it, dirt stains on the ceiling, crown molding was falling off the wall. Outside door was broken and not locked anyone could just walk into the building. Bathroom was dirty didn’t dare take my socks off. There were bugs flying around the room
