My husband stayed during a quick trip in the area, he said the hotel was very nice. He said the breakfast was excellent. Keep up the good work. He had a good comfortable sleep on his trip.

Hotel looked new. Room clean, desk staff very friendly and helpful. No elevator.

Conveniently close to i-20. Easily accessible to gas station and local restaurants. The check-in process could have been a little smoother, and they could have cleaned the space between the beds and the walls. There was trash along the grass and trees around the smoker's building. I had to use a beer cap of a Coors light bottle to stabilize the refrigerator, as it was leaning. Even then I would go here again.

For the price it was good. Clean, comfortable but older. Breakfast was blah. Juice machine was not working, some items were gone when we came down at 8 and were not refilled

If you are pulling a trailer or a bass boat there is not enough room but for a couple. They have 120v outlets available for charging your boat batteries.

The stay was okay. This facility is clean but aging. In my humble opinion an elevator is needed in a 3 story hotel. This building needs to be reconfigured to have their current stair system as emergency only. For the price it isn’t a bad deal.

It took me over an hour to check in because they couldn't find my reservation even though i had a confirmation email and proof of payment. Only one young girl working, who didnt seem very knowledgable.
Not very clean. I was in the same room i was in exactly 1 year ago. Last year i pointed out that the handrail next to the toilet was coming out of the wall. It still hadnt been repaired. You have to go either up or down 4-5 steps to get to any of the rooms, which is a lot of trouble with luggage.
They do have a decent continental breakfast.

We had a late check in. Took forever to get clerk (no buzzer at window) wall and tray for ice bucket was dirty. Water didn’t drain in sink. Stagnant water and no stopper for tub.
We heard other rooms TV or people talking all night. Staff was loud outside our door early in the morning.

We were told at check in that we on the 3rd floor but is no elevator. I am 69 years old carrying luggage with bad knees and find out there was no elevator that should be mentioned at reservation time.

A lot cheaper than the Hilton properties. You don't get anything extra except the rooms are bigger across the street at the Hilton hotels. Other than that it's nothing different. Staff is nice.

We came back to our room after being gone all day Friday to find our door ajar propped open by the dead bolt and the light was on, I had asked the maid for a new box of tissues that morning which I got. She asked me would we be staying, I replied yes. She wanted to know if we needed any towels and I said NO to mark us off her list. This was most disturbing to say the least. I did not find anything missing which is not even the point, there were medications sitting out in the open.

I love that its in Pell City. I feel at home; the fact it is a walks length to Cir K is excellent; My java stop!!
I wish they would honor Sr disc bc I'm 63, jobless temporarily & anything is costly! I'm forced to stay in motels at this time. Also, no chg for pets under 10#!

The main issue was the smell of the water
So when you went into the bathroom it smelled like vomit and turned on the water in the shower and sink. So we immediately realized that we were not going to be able to take a shower because of the smell. And we immediately went and got bottled water

There is a Burger King on site and a Circle K beside the hotel. The staff are super nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, felt comfortable. I will stay again. The prices are competitive with the hotels around & in general not so fair to a newly widowed person , & I didn't receive a discount for over 55 or over 62 yr old.. Other than this I will recommend to anyone.

I booked with a third party and I checked out 2days early and wanted a refund for the days I wasn’t there so I called the third party and they called the hotel and the hotel clerk said I stayed until my check out day and that was a lie and I have my receipt for proof

They did not have my reseverations on file. I had to drive and additional 50 miles to get a room somewhere else.

General condition was poor
2.0 / 10.0
Must applaud the cleanliness of room considering there were workers renovating minutes before we checked in. Aside from the dirty hand towel and holes in the bathroom walls, the room was in good condition and comfortable. Air conditioner was pleasantly frigid to beat the 100 degrees outside. Big drawback was no elevator so access to any room included stairs up or down, definitely not elderly or disabled friendly. Hallways were being painted and repaired on our level but only unsightly, no paint smell. Picture in ad is fantasy, retouched and cgi. Actually much more dingy on outside, no landscaping, shares parking lot and driveway with adjacent burgerking.

You have to climb stairs even if you are on the first floor. Also the TV didn’t turn on and off in less you did it manually from the back of the YV, and there were no cups in the room, only 2 pillows on the bed

water main busted while we were. Did not have a cable tv
guide. Something strange in the bathtub.

Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in. The worker was rude and acted like he was bothered by us. Signs were posted that they were remodeling but it didn’t seem like the hotel should be open with how bad it was. The “ground floor” was basically a basement. It smelled horrendous, like burnt rubber. There was no room numbers on the wall just papers taped to the top of the doors with number on them. The inside of the room was not terrible but not clean in the slightest. Hair balls all over the floor. The window was a medium sized basement window that was on the ground to the outside. The curtains were ripped and stained. The thicker curtain didn’t close so anyone could see inside as there was no way to close the curtain. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. Immediately booked with a different hotel. Please save yourself the money and don’t book here.

At first glance, the room looked wonderful. But, when I looked closer, cleanliness was a bit of a problem. Hair, not mine, and dirt on the floor. A moldy shower curtain. One of the sparsest continental breakfasts that I’ve ever seen.

I never ever been in such a horrible place in my life. I sure will never go into another quality inn in-my life. Dirty, no towels or soap , toilet bowl did not work, no hot water in the early AM , Breakfast NON etc. And I was charged twice for one room which may be Expedia fault. I had nothing but problems with Expedia there’s another company I will never use.

They made us pay a deposit for smoking we don’t and the romm and hall way smelled like smoke. The bath tub had pubic hairs in it. Why the deposit? The towels were damp

Stood at the desk for 15 minutes when I was trying to check in. I am not a fan of the $50 deposit without being told in advance. I stayed at a different hotel my final night in Alabama and no deposit. It was cheaper and a much better room as well. went to breakfast and no spoons for cereal, and I was there early. My big issues is that for nearly $100 for this room, I expected MUCH better. I had a $60 room my final night that blew this one away. Not even close, in fact.
