Great hotel with even better price. Interior was nice and room was even better. Nice soft bed and pillow. Nice size room with office table. Small gym but better than nothing. Had one elliptical and one universal weight set that had one side out of service. Very close to several cities.

Bathroom vent not working - no suction. Could do with more hooks in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was OK.

Overall, the property is good. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was perfect for on the go. My only issue was the bathroom was old. The drain backed up and on night the water was scorching hot; so hot that I could barely shower and could not change the setting.

Great staff

The staff where amazing!

There has been water damage as evidenced by the smell in the room, the water stains on the ceilings, and wallpaper/shower seam. The room needs a deep cleaning/remodel. The staff were excellent. We booked a 2nd night after our 1st night’s stay even though the room wasn’t $200 value. The morning attendant was very helpful. After Covid, it’s hard to find a good quality motel that is well maintained. Since we like to travel for Bluegrass we accept whatever is available; however, if we don’t speak up, nothing changes.

Pros: I liked the ease of access from highway. Dogs stay for free. Check in process was easy. Cons: Pool closed indefinitely. Parking lot dimly lit at night. Hotel is older with older furniture. Stains on furniture. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned after last guest. Used bar of soap still in shower. Lots of hair in tub. Urine on area behind toilet seat. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Comfortable stay

Lobby was clean and welcoming. Desk clerk was very friendly and gave great service. Room was clean, no bad smells, nice linens and towels. Great selection at breakfast including apples, bananas, pears and oranges! Breakfast staff person was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The bed was comfortable. The room only had scalding hot water. Had to move to a new room where the water was just really hot. No cold at all. Breakfast was sad, so we declined. Even the coffee was made wrong. The apple juice was at least passable.

Over priced room for the spot continues truck horns back up alarm trailers hitting the loading dock at the post office

Very pet friendly. Always stayed here when visiting my daughter at Dartmouth.

Convenient hotel just off the highway but no traffic sounds in the room. The rug and paint was a little tired but the shampoo products (larger bottles attached to the wall) were good. The shower was big and had a handheld head. The front desk knew there would be an influx of eclipse chasers and had some helpful information available. They even opened the breakfast room early so we were able to grab something before our early start.

First, the good - it was a lovely quiet location, and the staff were great. The gentleman on the reception desk was very welcoming and pleasant, and the lady at breakfast was too. The room was pretty good, it was spacious and although dated, had everything we needed. Breakfast was ok. I saw a couple of guests with dogs whilst I was there and it's nice that it's dog friendly. Now, the bad. It was revoltingly dirty. I don't know who they have doing the cleaning, but they need to replace them! There was lots of hair on the bathroom floor, particularly between the bath and door (top tip for the cleaners: you have to actually move the door and vaccum behind it, not just stand in the doorway and vacuum there). And not hair from somebody's head either, it was gross. And next time I'm passing I'll pop in with a limescale remover spray as a gift, as clearly the cleaners have never heard of it - the taps and bath control were covered in limescale and a quick spray of that would have had them gleaming. Most reviews I read before booking said it was dirty, I'd hoped they have addressed this but obviously not. And although the surroundings are super quiet, it's not in the hotel as the walls are paper thin. We had a ground floor room next to an external door and all night we were woken by people going in and out of this door. We could also hear the baby crying in a room 3 doors down!

Great for traveling with dogs. Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast tasty except the waffle batter ran out. Would visit again!

Non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes and had a sticky substance on the walls. Staff was very polite though.

It wouldn't be too bad if they would enforce their quiet hours instead of letting the out-of-stators slam their doors and yell at the top of their lungs and have their kids run up and down the hallway until 2:00 to 3:00 in the morning

Needs remodel badly, have stayed multiple times and the facility is showing it’s age. Good breakfast options and a clean bed but that’s about it.

Second time stayed at this hotel. Extremely pet friendly, conveniently located to highway. Would stay here again!

Stains on the bed spread and bed skirt looked like semen stains. Broken dead bolt lock. Spider webs, dust, dirt, beverage stains on the end tables and on back of bathroom door. Dumpster outside of room window. I left after 5 hours of checking into this Uncomfortable Comfort Inn.

Wednesday at a couple of times and it's never a bad day could always be better like when you're in the back rooms the trash truck comes at say 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning and it's really loud wakes you up other than that the front desk is always friendly and they don't bother you

This Comfort in was very nice and close to many of the places I was visiting. The beds were clean and comfortable, the rooms were a good size, the bathrooms were well stocked with towels, soap, etc. The continental breakfast had various options as well. It was a great place to stay and I would return in the future. Also, the front desk staff were kind and courteous.
