There is a step to/from the ensuite which causes tripping. Some form of raised flooring needs to be fitted to avoid tripping and injury. Although aware of the problem, we still managed to trip about three times. Especially at night when it cannot be seen.
Certainly an incident with injury waiting to happen.

Prior to the booking I’ve asked if it would be possible to have a room without anyone upstairs and we were pleased to have the last room on the lake for more privacy. It was such a nice stay, quiet, during the week. Very pleasant, would come back and recommend the place. The bathrooms need to get an update as they look very old and average but other than that, everything was made to make you feel comfortable

We loved the place and the views, food and atmosphere were amazing. Yes the room had a noisy air conditioner which we had running over night which made sleeping (it was very cold during out stay) a little difficult but other than that the staff are very friendly and accommodating, the lakeside room was super comfortable and clean and being right in the heart of the Karri Valley you got loads of places to visit and see! Definitely worth the visit back!

Just so peaceful there. If you are just wanting to chill out, Karri Valley is the place to go.

All staff in every area were very professional, friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and had some terrific experiences in the Pemberton area. Would definitely recommend Karri Valley as a holiday destination.

Loved looking at the lake very peaceful

Spacious room with stunning view over the lake. Enjoyed the parrots on the balcony! Microwave and crockery provided, but only handbasin for washing up.
Ate dinner in the restaurant which was OK, but had to eat very early as it was busy, and nothing else nearby.
Can walk from the site to Beedelup falls, and right around the lake.

Really quite.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, beautiful lake views, great breakfast and very friendly staff, only thing I would of done differently is to book the restaurant for dinner asap as it gets very busy there.

It was so close to natural nothing was over the top

Overpriced. Late of service in dining room. Beautiful doubles sided fireplace staff didn’t know how to operate both at dinner and breakfast. Resort charging high rate but lacked depth in services. Power went off at 9am should have been done after 10 am check out. Staff seemed disinterested in providing appropriate level of service

Fantastic! Great room, right on the lake, and two doors down from a first class bar & restaurant. Everything was idyllic.

Excellent walking trails, fun things to do with kids. Breakfast during week was great but weekend was overpriced and average

Overall Karri Valley was very good. The restaurant was particularly good. We had a room overlooking the lake. The room was comfortable but for the price we expected a lot more. The rooms were basic, the tv had only a few channels (No streaming) and the kitchen facility was basic as well. Unfortunately, it also came with a welcome to country which was NOT welcome. Too many businesses are doing this in Australia. The view from the room was great. The resort is a long way from Pemberton. About 20 kilometres way. A good stay overall.

Wonderful. It’s a pity we couldn’t stay longer

Overpriced and dirty. If you are an European, don’t go. The facilities and the standard is like an average hostel in any European country. The lake was full of pipes and garbage and not a place you’d like to go for a swim. The nature around the place was nice, though… overall still a big disappointment

Great room with balcony over the lake. Love the walk around the lake to the falls and through the forest. Plenty of birds

A very special place where the staff are fantastic

Be prepared to be woken at 5am when someone above you wakes up. Very creeky, would suggest booking single story water facing room or cabins. Unfortunately very very musty damp smell in room

Beautful setting, room overlooking the lake fantastic. Very disappointed that we weren’t able to have dinner in the restaurant. We booked this room months ago, making full payment in advance. We were never informed that booking ahead at the restaurant was advisable and being a resort it never crossed our minds that we would have to. We arrived at the resort an hour before booking in time and already it was too late to book a place in the restaurant. As a consequence we had to drive to Pemberton meaning we couldn’t enjoy a bottle of wine together, not the romantic evening we were hoping for.

A beautiful location! We stayed in a lakeside room which was clean and very comfortable. Stunning location on the lake, quiet and surrounded by wildlife. Great for an overnight stay or for longer if you want to explore surrounding national parks.

The whole place felt very relaxing, the staff were fantastic & extremely helpful, the lady who checked us in ( Hayley I think her name is ) was absolutely brilliant, extremely thoughtful & insightful. overall experience was brilliant.
Will definitely be back.

Love the location as it’s by the lake and surrounded by trees - very peaceful n tranquil. Room is good but rather old, it’s kept clean. Kitchen/bathroom is acceptable- overall a good place to rest and relax as no mobile reception :)

Room overlooking the lake picturesque views. Restaurant staff exceptional service, chef awesome, proportion quantity excellent.
Room deodorant a little overpowering.
An actual light over the bed head, would be helpful.
Kitchen equipment and facilities adequately equipped.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing
Disappointed with the bathroom as there was mould on the roof and the tile grout. The sliding fly wire door had large cobwebs in the corners.

Was told that the facility had been refurbished but it sure didn't look like it. Our unit number 8 looked old and tired. Bedding and aircon was excellent and views were outstanding.
However for a facility (resort) like that to have no WiFi or Optus reception is appalling. Internet has been around for over 20 years but here we have accomodation at $220 per night and we got zilch. Management need to pull their finger out and get this fixed. No way will I go back until it's fixed.

Everything was great , staff at reception during check in could have been a bit more friendly and informative otherwise no issues.

We enjoyed our stay and the activities on site. Staff were helpful too. Only problem was wifi was not reliable if not with Telstra.

We were in a lakeside room over the water. Lovely outlook that you can't fault. Unfortunately we had guests above us that were extremely noisy. We noticed there are a few rooms without rooms above them, we would like to return and would definitely request one of those next time. The Lakeside restaurant was fantastic, we dined for dinner and breakfast.

The location was amazing along with the staff and the restaurant. However the rooms were very dated and need a refurbish if they are to be charged at the premium level.

We fully enjoyed our stay at RAC Karri Valley resort. We got a 3bedroom lakeview unit and it was lovely.
The unit was clean
Enough supply fo tea/coffee for 6 people
kitchen was fully equipped with better-than-usual dinnerware and cookware
The only thing needed improvement was the shower cubicle is lacking a storage / tray to put our shampoo/shower gel etc etc

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. A beautiful peaceful location. My husband enjoyed his kayaking and the weather was good enough to enjoy the balcony on the lake. The only downside was the little elephants in the room above us during the night but it was school holidays 😊

Beautiful setting and overlooking water. Great friendly staff. Only con was in ground level apartment on the water could hear the heavy footsteps of above apartment.
