Enjoyed a 5 night stay at the Novotel. Room was nice, staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. And located just a few minutes walk St Lawrence Market and Union Station. I’d stay here again if visiting Toronto.

The toilet was clogged right feom the start and when calling down and asking for a plunger, the answer was we don't have maintenance staff in the evening and everything is locked up. So basically had no washroom to use for the night. Not a good experience at all.

The location was nice and close to the St.Lawrence market and Union Station. The room looked nice. However the bed was a bit dusty which made the room stuffy.

Over was a good stay, they cleaned my room but did not clean coffee pot or replace coffee I used.
$16 seemed like a lot for a small draft at the bar

One of our personal highlights was the pool and jacuzzi at the top of the hotel 😊 The hotel was very clean and comfortable, it was in an ideal location to explore downtown Toronto as it was so close to the city centre and with easy access to all the landmarks. It was within walking distance to St.Lawrence market and also really handy to Union station with a great service to Pearson airport.

Wonderful!

Ideal downtown location. The Keg is directly across the street and Scotiabank Arena is about a 12 minute walk away. Very close to the St Lawrence Market and the Distillery. Easy parking access. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Nice swimming pool.

Beautiful hotel! Perfectly nestled in the heart of Toronto. 20 minute walk to Rogers Centre.
Friendly staff, clean facilities- perfect stay!

Hotel parking garage was convient but spaces were very small and tight. When checking in we were presented with our breakfast vouchers but not the 20% off food coupon that hotels.com claimed we would receive. Hotel, instead, provided free macrons and Evian water in suite when asked by app to comment on check-in. Breakfast service and house keeping was top notch. Hotel doors are heavy and slam shut so loud that one can hear within a room. Gym was well equipped but air vents in gym as well as room need cleaned. Spa was nice touch. Did not get to use pool or hot tub but both looked nice. Hotel is conveniently located near Scotiobank and Hockey Hall of Fame as well restaurants. It also nice that the street that is located on does not see the typical grid locking traffic of many Toronto streets. Would definitely stay again due to these numerous advantages and amenities.

Very central and walkable to Scotiabank Arena with several options for restaurants close by.

Excellent stay at this hotel . 10 minute walk from Union Station , St Lawrence Market and Bus station and 20 minute walk to lakeside restaurants/bars . Room at hotel was spacious and very clean as was the shower .

It was good, restaurants close, entertainment was in walking distance. I have a large oversized vehicle so was able to park in alley but would’ve been nice to be able to park in garage. Overall I have no complaints

Overnight travel. Great location. Easy walk from Union Station and lots of restaurants around. Clean, spacious and reasonably priced. Disappointed in how easily we could hear people on the hall and there was no top sheet on the bed, just the duvet.
2.5
Impressive from check-in to check out. Lovely spacious room, great breakfast and generally friendly atmosphere.

The biggest disappointment about our stay was the lack of services at the hotel. No bell service, valet service, concierge service. Not officially having a concierge may be okay but I was a bit taken aback by the attitude received from the woman at the front desk when I asked if someone could help us find a restaurant for dinner and she flatly responded "We don't do that." She did not recommend any local venues or ask a colleague for assistance, she simply shut the conversation down.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, location is great highly recommended

Liked the spacious and clean bathroom. Nice selection in the snack area. The gym was good. Expected bathrobes and complimentary water based on website but there were none. Great location.

The Novotel was great! It's in a perfect location in downtown Toronto, which made it easy to go to places like the Hockey Hall of Fame, St. Lawrence Market, Eaton Centre, and the Rogers Centre. We had a renovated room and it was in great condition. Would definitely stay there again when we visit Toronto!

Check-in was a bit of a hassle due to only one person on duty. I booked a “newly renovated” room which was fine, but I would not like to see a room before the renovation 😊. Nothing special about the room. Hotel apologized about the delay with a nice gift. The bar and restaurant was great and very reasonably priced. Location I great within walking distance to the train station and loads of restaurants etc. Overall a great stay

It was a very nice room on the quiet side of the building. (no view). My only complaint was no body lotion. I guess they don’t want to use small disposable lotions, but they could use refillable containers like they use for shampoo, conditioner and soap.

Lovely time staying here! Would definiteky stay here again!

Great location. We walked pulling bags to and from Union Station. A row of restaurants across street. Close to St. Lawrence Market. Modern, clean hotel.

Great location for access to Union Station, St Lawrence Market and Distillery District. Room lovely and clean.

Loved the ladies at morning breakfast. Great energy and great service. Unfortunate that they had to deal with a (decently dressed) vagrant who helped herself to a full bfast before making a scene and leaving without paying. Point is, 1) How do you prevent this in the future and 2) the staff handled it as well as anyone could, trying very hard not to disrupt other guests. Otherwise, the hotel was a great choice for us!

Hotel located in a great location, walkable to most central areas of Toronto, very close to Train station, nice restaurants & bars literally facing the hotel! Only a couple of slight complaints the shower in our room had a significant amount of black mould, and the room was quite dark due to small window.
2.5
no complaints except for the coffee pot. It was not user friendly and we never could get it to work properly so we had to go downstairs and pay for coffee. It would have been nice to have free coffee in the lobby!
