The room itself was very average but on the more uncomfortable side. I asked in the booking notes if they could make the sofa bed up for my daughter as I wasn’t sure what time we’d get in, but it hadn’t been done, so I had to ask for extra bedding/pillows to do ourselves. The pool was very old and tired - I only went in for about ten minutes and felt gross. Breakfast was only available until 9am which was disappointing.
My biggest complaint is that I was asked if I’d already paid for the reservation when we arrived and I said yes, through Hotels.com. I was asked then to present a card for a $100 deposit that would be show as pending then returned upon checkout, which was fine. It has now been 5 days since check out and my card has two charges that have fully gone through. My guess is that they are the deposit plus the room charge. They are in addition to the initial booking charge on my other card. I challenged this before check out and was assured it would be sorted. I have since raised a complaint and have heard nothing. I now have $175 of charges taken from my bank that cannot be used otherwise for bills, groceries, etc. I am hoping this is sorted before I am forced to pursue fraudulent charges with my bank.
On the back of this experience, I would not stay with this chain in future.

The air conditioner worked really well and the room was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and remained calm when it got busy. The hotel was busier than expected due to a local event.
But the bathroom was so small that the door was practically in-between your legs when you were sitting on the toilet. The bathtub was dripping all night. The bed was uncomfortable. The price was 3x what it normally would have been due to the local event. Hotels sure do know how to jack their prices to earn a quick buck.

My room was next to elevator on 1st floor.

Room was clean and apparently recently updated. Fixtures and appliances all in good working order. Furniture was all in good shape. Plenty of outlets for devices. Only disappointment in furniture was the lack of a dresser. For a 3 day stay, it would have been nice not to live out of the suitcase. Smart TV, but not able to connect to the internet to stream Prime or Hulu. Asked about it and was told management set it that way as customers were forgetting to log out and others were renting movies on the customer's accounts. Also, supposed to have cable channels up to 49, but we only got about 8 or 9. Asked someone to look into it, but nothing changed. Breakfast was nothing special, some cereal and bread, a few hot items. Seemed to have trouble keeping some basics in stock.

The room could have been cleaner . The carpet still had paper on it. Didn’t have stuff for 2 people only enough for 1 person. Sunday they was out of breakfast at 7:30. When I told them they said oh and continued talking about person stuff

The hotel is a little below average. It is older. Nothing fancy. They don’t change the sheets on the beds during your stay or make the beds or vacuum or clean at all until you leave. We stayed a week so that became a problem. They had limited towels. It was more or less a construction workers motel. The breakfast totally sucked

We attempted to stay here, but it was so filthy we left. They were kind enough to switch us rooms, but 2/3 had the beds littered with bugs and the other had numerous yellow stains on the sheet. We quickly left and they were agreeable to giving us a refund. We are not picky, but we do appreciate a clean room. This hotel was filthy, top to bottom, and the entire place smelled like a locker room and smoke.

The bathroom mirror a film or streaks so bad you couldn’t see yourself in it. My husband had to clean the mirror. It made the bathroom feel dirty

Room was clean and beds were surprisingly comfortable. The decor is updated which I appreciated.
The breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m. and had a wide variety, I always think it is very smart of hotel to offer a nice breakfast as a way of keeping people coming back. The best thing was the yogurt and toast with cream cheese, the rest was ok but not exciting.

We had non smoking room but the smell of Marijuana was throughout the second and third floor came into our room it was there for two days and our room was on the third floor and elevator was out the whole time would be great if that was fixed sheets looked good till u pulled them back

My stay was great, traveled for work for a week, they picked up my bed almost every day, and change the trash and gave me new towels, my next door person was a little loud, but other then that, i felt save and pleasant stay, would stay again.

Great hotel with great room. Hotel is on main road so car noise was present, but not real bad. TV had very limited channels and no streaming options. Elevator was inop when we left, making several trips up and down stairway when we left. Overall these were minor complaints and we would stay there again and recommend it.

Not the cleanest place. Every single towel, I mean Every, had some kind of stain on it. There was hair, some small and curly and some long, in both the tub/shower and on the bathroom floor. I found weird plastic garbage under my pillow, which then made me question all of my sheets and bedding. It was a very uncomfortable experience questioning everything I touched. For the amount of “updates” there were many things that needed updating. Will not stay here again.

If you live in quincy illinois there will not let you stay in a room there. I had already paid for it online and when i arrived to check in the guy saw i lived in quincy and said the owner now refuses all quincy residents who book a room. Have stayed there plenty of time in the past and now all of a sudden cant. The owner doesn't openly display this change and it screws people over who already paid for the room. Been almost a week now and havent gotten my refund for the room. Hotels like this need to disclose this information, not take the money and tell the guest to leave. I used to really like this hotel but never again.

It's ok, has the appearance of being a decent property, but some things aren't cared for. The bed cover had a stain, but the sheets were clean. The fridge didn't work and no microwave. TV was good and bathroom was clean and decent. Breakfast was the usual faire with pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Quiet hotel and neighborhood.

Not a bad hotel, ice machine was broken and there was only one for the whole building. Not a lot of channels to watch from, mattress wasn't the most comfortable but not bad. Staff was good.

Well, the towels in the bathroom were dirty. There's not much you can do about that when you come out of the shower and discover the towels are dirty. When I told them at the front desk about it, they said housekeeping was gone for the day, but they would replace the towels. I suggest using bleach to get the stains out! Also, when I sat on the toilet, my breast was in the toilet paper roll. Whoever thought this was a good idea should not design hotel bathrooms. The beds were very firm. Those were the best part of the stay.

There was an opened plastic cup on the top of the toilet.
The shower safety rail was missing.
The hair dryer had hairs in it.
I did not receive my wake-up call.

My room was not thoroughly cleaned. I don't believe the bedding was changed, there were stains on the sheets. Hairs on the sheets and every pillow. Hairs in the bathtub & on the sink.
There was leftover food in the refrigerator and crumbs on the floor.
We didn't really look the room over at check in because we just got in from a 5hour drive & were heading to Quincy Stadium for my son's homecoming football game.
We got back to the room at 11:30pm, so it was too late to request another room. So, I was disappointed with the stay. .
