He wouldn’t even allow me to get the room. Since I booked 3rd party and not through their site. The price difference made it where I had to pay extra but that shouldn’t be the case as I said. The front desk employee “Yujah” was very rude, unprofessional, and kept wanting to See my personal information when he said he had it on his computer. IT HAS CHARGED $85.91 to my CARD! I wasn’t even able to check in. I’m contacting his branch’s support because it was so unpleasant and unprofessional.

I was there for two nights and the hotel seem to have been renovated and it was probably the nicest Howard Johnson's I've ever stayed in. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable and quiet. On the negative side, the pillows were so thick and heavy that it was impossible to sleep. There were two shuttle vans that advertised transportation but when I asked for a shuttle to drive just 1.5 Mi away, they refused and said they only went to and from the airport. Breakfast was okay but in 2 days the only hot food they had was biscuits and sausage gravy, which many Americans do not like including myself.

I visited Evavsville from the Northern California Wine Country, where we are accustomed to high standards in hospitality. The HJ does not come close to that, but it is not trying to be that. It was friendly, quaint, clean, and affordable. It also had a free breakfast of some of the best biscuits and gravy i have tasted, and i am originally a Midwest native. I would certainly stay there again.

When we checked into the hotel the gentleman behind the desk the young kid was very unpleasant and very rude. Yelling banging giving us attitude went in there the room was nice but the TV did not work and the phone did not work and there was cockroaches

There was ample, free parking. The lot was clean. Check in was simple. The hotel key card worked great, at all times. The bed was comfortable. The tv had a great picture. Plenty of tv channels. The linen was ample and clean. The breakfast had a great selection.

An elder Howard Johnson's we got it cuz it had the pool on the outside it would be best if they had tables with umbrellas so you least you could have a little break from it cuz there was no trees or anything it was just boom in the entire 89° Sun the staff was friendly with the checkout and all .I got there early and I never been asked this before but they asked me to pay $20 to check in early and I just wanted to put my stuff in the room so that we could go to a family party that afternoon it started at 2:00 before the check in at 3:00

Toilet clogged and over flowed. Was asked if I wanted to change rooms, should have apologized and then offered to move rooms. I was trying to leave to go to family reunion. Housekeeper sent to room and told us we just needed to plunge it. We didn't have a plunger and we paid to stay in a hotel not to plunge our toilet. Bathroom was mopped. When we returned the room stunk of sewage. Asked to move rooms, they did move us.

It was a great location for anything you might need. At first, our key card wouldn't open the door to our room. I went back to the front desk and no one was there to help me. Finally someone came and even met me at the room (my husband was standing there waiting) to make sure we got in. Overall, we would stay here again!

I have to say I was skeptical because most of the time the pictures are way better then the establishment itself, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and the politeness. Rooms was clean and the A/C was cold, showers was clean, bedding was clean and you could tell they clean the rooms by the smell of things, breakfast was hot and i would definitely stay again!

Had some issues on the first night. Which was taken care of promptly. Talked to management and he was nice and understanding about the situation. Could've given me a better discount for the problem, but I'm satisfied with the outcome. The breakfast could change instead of having the same type of eggs every day. Average hotel. I would probably stay again.

The Howard Johnson is a decent place for the price. The front desk staff was very friendly! The breakfast was non-existent. It shouldn't even be listed as free breakfast. The waffle machine didn't cook the waffles, the cereal was stale and the other offerings were slim. This is a good hotel if you need a place to rest. It's clean and affordable.

The place is that bad looking on the outside on the inside it's not bad either, but when you get to your rooms. The floors look like they have never been cleaned a day in anybody's life. And the beds are as hard as a rock. If you're looking for a Good night's sleep, it is definitely not here.
