There were no bell boy to take my luggage upstairs to the my bedroom. I had two large Samsonite bags plus hand luggage, and I had to do it myself with an airport trolley. It seems that all bell boys have been fired during the pandemia lockdown and new ones have not hired yet. It caused me a lot of trouble.

Let me start with the good. Check in was fast. The lobby of the hotel is really pretty and builds expectations for the room which it could not live up to. The room was large but the carpet in the room had seen better days as well as the beat up 1970’s furniture. The bedding was nice and the sheets and pillows were very clean. The bathroom is not visually appealing and the corner shower sprays water all over the floor. The toilet has a very strong flush that threw water on the floor. Also you hear the constant sound of other toilets above and next to your room flushing. The 2 worst things were the overnight staff and the nonexistent WiFi. If you need to be connected to the internet for business or entertainment (and who doesn’t) avoid this place at all costs! When it worked it’s best I could read 2 emails between the WiFi dropping out. At its worst there was no signal at all for many long stretches. I called to complain but nothing changed. The 2nd big problem I had was with night staff trying to order room service. There are no restaurants in walking distance at night so I thought I would order room service. The hotel had no one in room service or the front desk who spoke English. The menu (which I had to go to the front desk to get) was in Portuguese and English so you would think they could take an order in English. Wrong! 5 phone calls 3 visits to my room from 3 different people who could not take an order in English and 2 Hours later went to bed hungry.

This is the lowest point, on my trip to Brazil, this hotel accommodation, just RUIN, my vacations, we enter the hotel, after a near 5 hours overnight trip from Lima, and arrive the hotel near 8am in the morning, very very tired, just to let know by the staff that we can only enter the room at 2pm, then i realize that the staff try to charge me half day hotel rate, on my side, couples hire rooms and they provide the room just immediate , i have to take my car drive to a coffee shop, and wait for another 2 or 3 hours, to come back the hotel, with my small 5 years old girl extremely tired. THANK YOU. if this is Hospitality, you should show your staff how to do their work.
on the che have an early flight back to lima, so i have to left the hotel room at 3 am in the morning, the previous night i ask front desk to pay my account, (overseas card, sometimes have troubles )the front desk staff told me its no posible, so i need to do it at 3am, and of course the payment fails, i try to explain the front desk staff that i need to catch my flight , and i just get the best feedback from a front desk guy, he menage me to call the POLICE, in front of my family, THANK YOU AGAIN!!!, i have an extra cash to pay, just to get rip off with the exchange rate. no wonder, was the same rude guy at the checking.

Stayed for 1 night for business. Arrived at 11PM was sent to the wrong floor. There are two parts to the hotel: a 4 star and and 3 star. I got the 3 star wing. The room was clean but the bathroom installations must date to the early 1990s or 1980s. The shower head was broken. The mini bar made a terrible noise all night.

Of the several overpriced hotel I used during the World Cup, this was the nicest. Comfortable room with good breakfast.

Extremely crowded at check-in; reserved room type not available. Gave me a suite--very nice.
The service was not up to the level expected. The bathroom was not as clean as it should
have been.

Hard to fall asleep as very thin walls- can hear people talking in adjacent rooms. Location is in a questionalbe part of downtown- near the bus station. Food was good and breakfast was included. Internet also included in price, quality of internet service was above average.

This hotel has some nice features, including friendly staff, good service, a fairly large gym on the top floor with a view, a lap pool, and a well-stocked breakfast buffet. But the rooms are a bit spare and could benefit from remodeling. The location is in an uninteresting part of the old downtown.

I loved this hotel. The best thing about it was the amazing breakfast. I have never had such a wide variety of choices. I try to avoid wheat, sugar and dairy and this was easy with the massive amount of fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices, and lots of healthy options such as quinoa, amarinth and flax to make up my own muesli, with nuts and dried fruits. There were lots of breads, cakes and pastries and there were hot options too. Great coffee with hot milk and teas. Staff were great though English is not widely spoken. They really appreciate if you try to learn a few Portuguese words (as do all Brazilians) and they have great humour and warmth. The bed was fantastically comfortable and there was a great shower. The pool is lovely and the hot tub/jacuzzi is great outside. The gym is a good size with amazing views as all these are on the top floor of the hotel: floor 17. There is a feeling of luxury here though the rooms are not luxurious as such. They are clean and comfortable. Great drinks, Great soups. Do not expect reliable information about where to go and how to get there. This seems standard in Brazil though. Check everything a second or third time. The neighbourhood is not safe after dark, and there are very few shops or bars or restaurants nearby. But taxis are cheap. I hardly left the hotel as I was at a Congress and my days were long. I felt relaxed and at home there. You can get a great massage very cheaply in the onsite beauty parlour. I loved it.

It's a very good hotel. I recommend.

A nice hotel is a somewhat dodgy part of town. That said, absolutely no qualms about staying there again.
