Decent breakfast, nice terrace overlooking part of the city, spacious room. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the cooking to operate, so the room was overheating (26c); we opened the windows to cool the room at night.
The hotel arranged for a private water taxi pickup from the train station with a drop off directly at the hotel which was a fun way to arrive!

Amazing hotel! Loved the staff, all staff from concierges to breakfast staff, every person was so helpful and informative. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable and offered so many fine amenities like roof top lounge, jacuzzi, taxi service from hotel, close to main attractions, nice area of Venice, great bar, and excellent, Michelin rated restaurant, La Caravella on site with all homemade pastas and baked goods.
We will recommend this Hotel to all friends and family and will stay again on our next visit!

The property was intimate, but crowded at the same time. And we only saw this at breakfast. The concierge, Roberto, helped us out tremendously. He gave us a map and circled places to go and how to get there. His kindness and hospitality was over the top. The food was delicious. We did have dinner in their outdoor dining room and it was delicious. Breakfast was subtending. Service was superb. Highly recommend your stay at this hotel.

Amazing stay! Beautiful, beautiful hotel in a great location and very walkable to everything. It was our honeymoon and management arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be delivered to our room which was very kind. Highly recommend!

This stay was ok, but the beds were not very comfortable. For the price I did expect a bit more. I would likely choose a different location if we were to come back.

The room was spacious enough to relax in, with high ceilings and a luxurious feel, including the furniture. It was also canal-to-facing, so we could enjoy the gondola traffic from the balcony. The bathtub was a big plus for us Japanese, and it was a great way to relax after a day of exploring the city of Venice.

Excellent hotel, very central to all main attractions. Very professional and friendly staff. Lovely varied breakfast, can sit inside or outside on the lovely terrace. Close to St Marks if you need the vaporetta. Hotel arranged a taxi transfer to airport which was expensive but worth the extra for the experience

This was an absolutely gorgeous historic building in a perfect location. Truly like something out of a movie. Antiques and old photos decorate each space and there are lovely common areas to sit. The bar in the lobby was so gorgeous and special and the staff there was so friendly. The bummer was was check in. After a long flight and wait without even water out for arriving guests, I seemed to get hustled at check in for a different price, they said hotels.com messed up the reservation so we almost didn’t have enough rooms then the price went up, then the agent after seeing my email evidence agreed to see what could be done; and that set a bad tone, made me wonder if I would be hustled and conned everywhere in Italy. Entirely possible hotels.com screwed up though? And, the gym is not a gym as we Americans think of it so if like me you prefer to get a good workout morning after the long flight you will be bummed, there is some stuff but very little, they charge extra to access it and it has very limited hours (gorgeous view though). Breakfast was good too. Overall beautiful but double check your reservation a few times and maybe not after a long flight.

A great stay near lots of shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay, 2 adults and a teenager. The hotel is beautiful, the history is fantastic and all of the original charm of the building can be seen. Definitely worth spending a little bit of time exploring round the hotel. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was gorgeous, ideal for a family of 3 with two distinct "room" areas separated by a sliding door and 2 bathrooms in our room. Rooms are all different which adds to the charm. The mini bar was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was busy but seats always available both indoors and in the lovely garden area. Good choice of breakfast options, beautiful fresh baking and the coffee was excellent. A good range of time for breakfast to be available and staff will provide an earlier breakfast if you require it for an early departure. The location is unbeatable, a very easy few minutes walk to the San Marco boat stop, St Mark's Square is a few minutes walk straight down the street and the hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the Rialto bridge area. There is an abundance of top end designer shopping in the same street as the hotel, plenty of food and drinks options nearby. The hotel bar was lovely if very expensive and the roof terrace is gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

In the center of upscale shopping and walking in Venice

We went to 4 different cities while in Italy and Venice was our favorite. A big reason for that was staying at this hotel! The staff was incredible, the breakfast was delicious, the room had great AC and we were grateful because it was hot outside! The location is a short walk from the water taxi and had great shopping nearby!

Loved our stay there. We were there for 3 nights. Good breakfast and a bar/restaurant right in the hotel. 10 minutes to St. Marks Square and pretty much to any other spots.

This was our first visit to Venice and the Santurnia could not have been in a better location!
We found the hotel easily after a short river taxi ride, and each time we ventured out, it was very easy to access wherever we wanted to go. St.Mark’s Square was only a few minutes away.
All the hotel staff were great, very professional and made us feel most welcome at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, especially if it’s your first time in Venice.
Breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel - well organised, good choice and always felt quite calm, something you often don’t experience in a city hotel. We were also able to get a water taxi to the airport directly from the back door!

We enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff! Polite, courteous and unobtrusive. The bar, restaurants and room had every accommodation. Location was a nice positive. I will most definitely return to your establishment and tell my friends and family about the wonderful experience. Thank you for the umbrellas!

Room was spacious and amenities were nice. Beautiful rooftop area and big selection for breakfast. Staff was helpful. However, bedsheets looked clean but old, could use updating. Occasionally, hallways smelled foul, perhaps from the canals. Leaving key at front desk when leaving room was a bit antiquated and bothersome. Otherwise, good and safe property to stay at. Location was excellent.

Pros. The hotel is located in the middle of many cafes, restaurants and near St. Mark’s Square. Reception staff is professional. Breakfast is good.
Cons. The room is well kept and clean, but feels gloomy. Outdated furnitures. Squeaky hardwood floor in the whole room which was unpleasant especially at night. The tv was not working. Some noise at night from the hotel bar.

Restaurant on site is amazing the staff was phenomenal and overall a perfectly kept place. I have travelled millions of miles and spent years of my life at hotels and would put this in top tier of all of them.

Excellent all around!

Terrible shower. Water pressure, at best is a trickle. For any service request, if the response starts with, “ in Eataly…”. You must know it is BS. I gave 3 star for service; but the restaurant staff gets 5 star.

The hotel was ideally located for a lot of Venice's sites. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, couldn't fault them. The room was a good size, quiet, well maintained and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had good night's sleep in it. The food at the breakfast buffet was continental with a good choice and some lovely homemade cakes. Would fully recommend this hotel without hesitation. Thankyou to all the staff at hotel Saturnia & international for making our stay wonderful.

Hotel and room were acceptable except for the shower in the bathroom. Poor design caused excessive water to get on the bathroom floor during a shower.

Property is a fully-renovated historical icon, with a great location. The staff were absolutely amazing: friendly, efficient, helpful in many ways. Breakfast was included and was also great. Highly recommend and would stay there again when in Venice.
